They just opened a day ago. The place is huge with a lot of BBQ tables. The staff are accommodating. They don't have all those on their menu yet, only 5 choices of meat are available. They have the usual Korean side dishes. They also serve egg custard and corn and cheese which is really good. The good thing about their BBQ tables is that the smoke is being sucked down so you won't smell when you are done eating or when you go out. I surely would love to try it again when their menu are complete and try those marinated meat and seafoods. I highly recommend if you are near Tamarac.

This place is unlike any other K-BBQ restaurant we’ve been to. From the beautiful, conscious interior design to high quality cuts of meat, Hallyu stands out from the rest. We really enjoyed the Hallyu soy steak, spicy bulgogi, and thinly sliced pork belly. The meats were very fresh, tender, and well marinated. The soy marinade especially was the most addicting! The banchan did not disappoint, all are made in house. Our favorite is the beet pickled radish paper. When you’re there, you’ll want to pay attention to all the design details through which the owner embraces the Korean culture. The welcome greeting, hand drawn mural, meaning behind the restaurant’s name, and karaoke rooms all reflect the experience one would get if they were in South Korea. One important detail we truly appreciated was the installation of down-draft grills to avoid the smell of K-BBQ that always sticks to the clothes and hair! This is a real deal game changer! We can attest that we walked out of there at the end of the meal without smelling like the food we ate! The owner and staff are very friendly and professional providing excellent service for an unforgettable experience. 10/10 highly recommend for all Korean bbq and Korean culture fans! Genuinely one of the best Korean barbecues I’ve had in this area. The shrimp was hard to peel and the rice did get a bit crunchy but the owner Ray came and talked to us and is working to improve the experience for the grand opening! I will for sure be coming back and often. The vibe is amazing and it’s overall a great experience.

Amazing atmosphere. Food legit is delicious. Marinades were flavorful and diverse. Banchan was limited but on point. This is about as close to West Coast/Korean BBQ as you can get. One downside is a lot of side dishes costs extra. Even lettuce costs 5 dollars. Honestly though, for the flavor it is 100% worth it. A fun place for a date. The place has high end grills which will give the most amazing sear on your meats. However, if you are not familiar with going to Korean BBQ place it is very easy to burn the meats esp the sugar based marinated meats. As the place is still in the soft opening phase. Some meat and alcohol options are not available. Will definitely be my top place for Korean BBQ

the best k-bbq i’ve ever had! the owner was a sweetheart and the staff was extremely lively and helpful. i visited before the grand opening and the owner seemed to really appreciate feedback about how to make the eating experience better. the atmosphere and attention to detail made this really worthwhile. since this is only the soft opening, they didn’t have certain items like soju, but i’m sure that’ll change soon. ray you’re goated, i hope to visit again soon!

Vibrant Korean BBQ seated buffet. You select 3 meats at a time and cook them at your table’s cooktop, which features a system that pulls the smoke in so you don’t smell like your food by the end of the meal. Each table also gets banchan, corn cheese, rice, and an egg custard. Everything was very high quality, especially for a buffet. The meats were very delicious and premium, the pork and chicken were the highlights for me. The restaurant’s design is really fun, it’s a lot of neon, blue lights, and projectors playing K-pop. It’s like a BBQ party so be prepared for this kind of vibe. There’s a semi-private room in the back that seems great for parties or large groups. The owner Ray was visiting tables to make sure everyone was enjoying their food. His enthusiasm was contagious and he made us feel really welcome. Our server was excellent too, she was very friendly and made sure we got all our food. They bring an extra bowl of wipes to use with the tongs to clean your flat cooktop between more marinated meats. It’s an extra thought that helps make the food that much better. Whether you’re new to Korean BBQ or you’ve had this food before, this is a fun new spot to enjoy it. I really appreciate the late hours - it’s a rarity in this part of Broward!

I went earlier today with my partner, and it was amazing. We got the $35 all you can eat, the server showed us how to cook so we could do it ourselves. We had about 5 different meats, and they were all delicious. I recommend the bulgogi, it was so juicy, along with their soy pork belly (if I remember right) and the egg custard. Alan, the manager on duty that day, was very friendly and nice to talk to and added to the experience without being too intrusive. Our server (I wish I remembered her name!) Was also very friendly and took amazing care of us and our orders. If you enjoy meat, you cannot go wrong with this restaurant. Alan even told us that their meat is USDA grade.

I have been to every Korean restaurant in South Florida and as far as meat quality goes, Hallyu beats all of them. I went on their 3rd day open, so this is their soft open period and the full menu still has not been released yet. We ordered all of the staples like spicy pork belly, brisket, beef belly, NY steak, and shrimp. The entire table couldn’t get over how the meat was super tender and the marinated options were the best marinades at a Korean BBQ we’d ever had. This is a great spot for those who miss the more authentic Korean bbq spots you can’t find in south Florida. The owner Ray Park came to our table and explained his passion for showcasing authentic Korean food, as well as all of the hard work that went into opening. He is an entrepreneur from South Korea and recognized what was missing in our kbbq scene. He also clearly has an eye for design because the restaurant is beautiful. On another note, while the meat quality is crucial, I would say that having good banchan (side dishes) are equally important. No disappointments here, the beet juice marinated radish slices were my favorite alongside the thinly sliced cabbage to compliment the meat. My group also took a small tour of the restaurant after the meal and found their private party rooms which you can rent for karaoke & kbbq nights (pictured). I know it’s all been praise on my end but the owner and management had made such an effort to provide an excellent experience for us. I’m so excited for their success and would highly recommend all my foodie friends to visit in the upcoming weeks.
