Padrino’s is typical restaurant Cuban food in South Florida. The meals were delicious and generously portioned. I would only add because it’s South Florida, you can certainly find more authentic-tasting Cuban food at a better price if you look locally. I would recommend Padrino’s.

Open since 1976, Padrino's is a third generation family owned collecton of Cuban restaurants. Each generation has added its own touch to create a unique and ultimate Cuban dining experience. This Plantation location is definitely proof that they're doing it right. Recently reopened this year, this is the new modern look of Padrino's. Stylish and modern dining room but still serving traditional Cuban classics with a modern twist. There's a bar, outdoor seating, and a very inviting main dining. I suggest sitting towards the back where you're welcomed by the pretty palm trees mural. We tried the Paella, Combinacion Cubana, Churrasco, some delicious cocktails, and of course, flan key lime and the DIY Tres Leches. Everything was nicely presented and with one bite, we could tell these are quality and fresh ingredients. They don't have cut corners here. The food is made with love and the service is very attentive. If you're looking for some good comfort food in a modern setting, Pardino's is definitely a good place to take your friends and family. Also lots of free parking in the plaza.

Padrino's is an amazing restaurant with authentic Cuban cuisine and great service. The staff were super friendly and the experience was great. The pork was quite tender and had a nice crust 👌 with the sautéed onions. Went for lunch and would definitely visit again. I loved this modern cuban restaurant. The decor is gorgeous thr whole place hae a great vibe. The food was good they had amazing specials on drinks. Wednesday is half off on bottles of wine,Tuesdays, and $6 mojitos and some discounts on sangria on Thursday, but all in all, it was a good spot to eat in. Just the service wasn't that great. The girl was super nice, but at times, she was lost and not attentive, but it definitely deserves another visit.

I recently ate the new Padrino’s Cuban Restaurant Planation location and had an amazing experience! They definitely raised the bar with the look of the new location! I have been looking for a upscale restaurant close to were I live in Plantation, and Padrino’s hit the mark with their stunning ambiance and decor! The food was flavorful and cooked to perfection. I ordered the lamb shank with rice and sweet plantains. I highly recommend the key lime pie for dessert as well! It was one of the best key lime desserts that I have ever had. The staff was attentive and helpful, making sure that we had the best experience possible. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious, authentic Cuban cuisine.

My absolute favorite!! We have been coming to Padrinos for a year now ever since we moved from NY to FL. The food is fresh, tasty and the service is always fast. We are so happy that they moved and opened 3 mins away from our apartment building! The new space is absolutely beautiful, great job on the design. 🫶🏻🍹❤️

I'll start with the only negative I can think of which was the portion for the price. I wish they would give more meat but other than that, the food was delicious and the service was great. Vaca frita and lechon asado was great but I'm a big fan of sweets and so I've got to say. Order the flan ,then your main dish then the flan again 🤌🤌🤌 so good

Padrino's serve one of the best Cuban food. The food is like home, also the cocktails and desserts are delicious. Great atmosphere! The place is really beautiful a mix of tropical and elegant. The prices still are good! For this hot summer try the white sangria.

So I have been to the one in Sunrise Blvd Def that location is much better than this one.. Food here was completely disappointing taste definitely quality was bad tostones was over cooked el lechon was no tasty or tender.. The only good thing probably was the service.

I seen this spot on my way to the gym and thought I just had to try it. And now it’ll be one of my go to spots to eat. Very clean environment. The ribs are sooo so good. Food is well seasoned and proportioned with salt and it all blended well.

This is a fantastic spot to have a 30+ person gathering. The catering team made planning a snap, and the fixe menu offers options for everyone. I was especially impressed with the staff on-site. We had extra folks show up, but the hosts quickly accommodated us without encroaching on other dinners. All of this with a covered outdoor area that adds a vibe to your event. I found this to be a great overall value and experience.

Padrino’s is one of the best Cuban restaurants in West Broward. In times past, the food has been hit or miss for me, but I suspect it had more to do about whether the chef preparing a Cuban specialty is Cuban or from elsewhere in Latin America or the Caribbean. With that in mind, I recently took the chance because I was craving an authentic plate of arroz con pollo, and I was not in the least bit disappointed! I whet my palate with mariquitas accompanied by a garlic & EVOO sauce for dipping or pouring over. I then added a refreshing red sangria and enjoyed the soft music in the background. It was a welcomed and much-needed relaxing ambiance at the end of a heavy workweek. Shortly thereafter, my main course was brought out—just like I had envisioned it—moist and flavorful! My choice of two sides was maduros and steamed veggies. Be sure to enjoy my photos to get an idea of the plentiful portions that in some cases could be just the right measure for two. So, whether you make it to this location or any other, I hope your experience is as good as mine.

Today I visited the new location for the first time and it looks great, clean and the decor looks very nice including the outdoor seating area. The staff is very attentive and there is plenty of parking. If you are looking for a clean and inviting Latin cuisine, this is the place! I would recommend it, so give it a try and buen provecho 😋 bone appetit!

This is a beautiful restaurant and the food is excellent. Everything I ordered was flavorful and fresh. The empanadas were especially good because the pastry was flavorful and flaky. I would definitely go back and I am interested in trying more things on the menu.

Familia Padrino does it again! Cool vibe that honors the family legacy in another beautifully newly designed restaurant, super attentive service, and best of all my Bride and I enjoyed the tradition of their succulent and sabroso authentic Cuban cuisine! Mahi Mahi with yellow rice and brocolli is one of my all-time faves and my Bride loves the Arroz Relleno. Padrino’s in Plantation: el legado familiar continúa.

Food: A+ Location: A Service: A Atmosphere: A+ Ate at the original Padrinos a few times and always loved it. They went ahead and upgraded the restaurant and moved into a beautiful new location. The make over really takes care of the only slight critique I would’ve had about the restaurant to begin with, and that’s that it felt a little dated. The new location is modern, vibrant and hip. The food is still incredible. I had the churrasco (skirt steak with chimichurri sauce) and for my starter the tropical ceviche. The primo mojitos were slamming. Love Padrinos and I wish there was one in my home town of Virginia Beach… so if you’re the owner, open up a location there and I will 🎶 advertise it 🎶

food was very good, staff was nice, food was done in a timely manner and was fresh well seasoned and piping hot! the tres leche was so milky and sweet! i ordered pollo asado lunch special as well, overall based off my experience i will be back :)

The servers were friendly and attentive.The food was delicious and the serving size was good. The tres leches and flan were good. We also had lechon asado, arroz con pollo and vaca frita, which was very flavorful and delicious. It is a pretty restaurant.

We ordered Uber eats from this place. Although the food was tasty, the portions were small. The lechon asado portion was half fat. It is a shame that a restaurant can get away with selling fat. Could not eat it. When I called to let them know, the manager offered us 10% off our next order. With the prices they charge for the meal, 10% is a joke. We will not be ordering again from here and will be sure to share our experience with others. Very dissapointing.

The food was okay. I did like the pleasant atmosphere and I could easily see that many enjoy attending this location. We stayed for hours chatting. Do not go if looking for fast food or in a rush. This location is meant to enjoy!

My experience here was nothing short of excellent. I am visiting the area and decided to dine in tonight as I was craving Cuban food. We were greeted with a friendly host and seated right away. Our server Kristian came over shortly after took our order. The food, service and overall ambiance of the restaurant was amazing. I ordered, ate and left all in under and hour. My God if I could take some home and freeze it I would. Excellent. The steak was juicy and so much flavor. The chimichuri sauce was amazing. Everything was delicious. The mango mojito was so so phenomenal. This is my new go to whenever I visit. Naheli made sure my service was on point. Service food atmosphere all 10 outta 10.

Food was very good. Very impressed. I was skeptical about eating here. You know the whole restaurant attached to a plaza vibe. But being new to Florida and learning the history of certain spots. Gotta try. And I am glad I did! My assistant and I had a blast. Food was Deff amazing. Deff reminds me of Cuba. TREAT YO SELF! Poetic Approved!
