Not usually right 1 star review and if I am doing is not to criticized but make this place better. I live across the street and I have been going to this 24 Fitness in Homestead since its opened. I have notice a while now that very often they are not replacing the paper roll and disinfect sprays for us to clean the equipment. Keep in mind that my training hours are always in the morning so fresh new day. When I went to ask about it to the front desk the gentlemen told me that it was not his job to do so and that morning staff was still to come. I though to write a review but then decide not. Today I went for my swimming section and after 15 minutes training they ask me to leave the pool. When I went to the front desk they informed that the inspector came in the morning and close the pool because of the water contamination so I ask them why they did not put a sign in the pool door right after the inspector visit? It was very inconvenient. Hope this review get to management as I ask for one at the time and they told me he was busy. Thank you.

Paying $40 a month for this… the area looked like this before I worked out and 2 hours later.. it still looks like this, if not worse! This is only ONE of the many times I come here and it looks like this. The sad part is, this picture was taken at 6:30AM! Maybe I’d understand if it’s 5pm and there’s a ton of people here. It’s absolutely gross and smells so bad. 0/10 recommend coming here. You’re honestly better off going to Planet Fitness. I cancelled my membership to this gym after seeing this.

So upset that some mornings we get here to work out but the staff is not even here to open the gym. They have become strict about nonsense but don’t open on time, have no paper towels to clean equipment and sometimes are rude. I think management is worrying about the wrong things to tighten up on. The picture is of some of the guest outside waiting for someone to come open the gym.

Dirty. Overcrowded at times. Filthy bathrooms. When they do decide to clean the club, they do so when the club is busy. What's the logic in that? On top of that, their facilities people will start cleaning and vacuuming within your personal workout space. Where do they find these people??? Members lacking in "gym etiquette." Member's don't re-rack their equipment and they leave sh!+ everywhere (torn up paper towels, empty water bottles, mats and other equipment). Adults who expect other adults to come and clean up after their nasty behinds. Been a member and observer here for more than a year. Club staff is hired and paid to hang out at front desk. If there's a Club Manager, they're not distinguished from the rest of the group. Personal Trainers don't look the part. Quality staff members don't stick around long. The music is trash and the energy lacking. Club is full of potential, but is lacking in leadership, superior management, and quality staff. This club is here simply to profit off of the 24-Hour Fitness brand.

Me and my husband usually workout at 6 am everyday. And these is the 3rd time that nobody shows up to open the gym on time. But today it’s 7:30 am and its still close. It’s crazy that a company like this is not commitment with their costumers

The machines are damaged... and there is no control of the people who come to train, a membership of 1 person passes about 4 to 5 people to train

Let me start by saying the gym is very well equipped but the corporate higher ups only care about the bottom line which is profit, that’s why they went from 50$ a month to 10$ to pack more people inside. You can go at almost any hour of the day and the gym be completely full and become basically a nightclub

I just recently started going back to 24hr fitness following my hiatus since Covid-19. I joined because of the pool, sauna, and steam room. It's a good gym I guess. They have decent equipment and also have classes. The only thing is I think they should clean more. Today in the women's locker room the bathroom was in deplorable conditions. Both the sauna and steam room could use a deep cleaning. I don't know how often they drain the pool and hot tub. All I know is that they both have a extreme overload of Chlorine. The hot tub smells like boiling bleach. So for this I deducted a star. But it still a nice place to work out.

They are not 24 hours No more, but still charge the same. Smh about to cancel my membership! Bathrooms are disgusting, super smelly, dirty papers on the floor. is a disaster. However, they still charging customer the same every month ! Update: Back to 24 hours service......... Bathrooms still dirty, they can do better! Besides that they have a lot of potential to be a 5 star Gym, they have everything you need to workout!

Horrible gym overcrowded never any equipment available and it's always broken. The roof is completely leaking and they have let out way too many gym memberships for the size of the gym they have will not recommend to anyone. This is an absolutely horrible gym

I’ve been a member since 2018 at this location and I have watched the steady and rapid decline of this place!!! Equipment don’t work or sound like it’s on its last leg, OMG the sauna and jacuzzi is disgusting. I don’t think that thing has been cleaned since the gym reopened after the pandemic. I will be attaching pictures And you have all these little kids running around here just sitting on equipment and not working out. Not to mention seeing kids under the age of 10 on the treadmill with no parental supervision. You guys are quick to charge my account every month on time for my fees. What I paying for ??? A gym with broken equipment and unsanitary sauna, etc ??? DO BETTER 24HOUR !!!

If there was another gym I can go to I would , this gym sucks because of poor management. I understand if you get packed that happens but when your machines are messed up and not lubed for months, that’s poor management. I have been going there for years and I have never had someone at the front desk ever say hi to me, they are too busy on their phones, which I find crazy. It’s over crowded, machines are messed up and never gets fixed , it’s sad because homestead doesn’t have many establishments, you would hope for nice things down here. Do better, take pride in where you work.

I enjoy coming here, I come about 4 days a week to swim, then sit in the steam room and then the sauna before taking a cold shower and going home. Most staff are friendly, the rest are too occupied on their phones to know any clients are actually standing in front of them, but all in all, a nice place for me to swim anytime I want.

If my experience could help someone... in my case I paid for the membership all year so that it was cheaper and I think it was the worst thing I did, if I had paid monthly I would have stopped visiting the gym a long time ago. It is practically impossible to do exercises. The place is over saturated. Full of young people playing and watching their phones sitting on their computers, apparently they have nothing better to do at home. For someone whose time is limited like me between work and family, it is a waste of time to join this gym. Many machines like escalators and so on are also broken...nothing...too overrated and too many imperfections. I could write much more about everything that I don't find good there but so that... I hope I can help someone with my bad experience to not lose their money.

Worst 24 Hour Fitness I’ve been to. Consistently dirty, weight room floor rules never enforced. Gym bags, weights, and trash strewn everywhere (staff too busy hanging out behind front desk/Automated check in doesn’t require a presence there). I’ve been to 24 Hours across the US and this place is by far at the bottom of the list. Disgraceful.

It is a really nice gym. Lots of equipment and space. Pretty clean. The basketball court is the only part that is not up to par. Not hardwood floor, some kind of hard wrestling mat material. Ball bounces fine, just felt weird running on it.

Don’t bother. Been going here for 2 years and it’s worse it could ever be. Not renewing my yearly. They don’t pick up the trash, the basketball courts are always dusty I’m slipping all the time. No nets on the rims. Rims are bent too. Weights everywhere you can’t find a set of dumbbell without going across the entire gym room to find the other pair. Bathrooms are disgusting. And there are wayyyy too much people it’s just ridiculous and most of them are high school kids not even working out. I miss how it used to be. So much potential but It’s not worth the money anymore.

Love the staff!! I can't believe I'm apart of such a gym!! I can't wait till I can afford a personal trainer as well as the protein bar in the front!!! Besides that I love the place. Not to happy kids or younger adults come and don't take there workouts serious. It should be age limit for men. Not so much the women.

I love coming to this gym. But I must say the trash cans are always full people continue to bring weights to the steam room and leave them even if there is a sign up saying no weights allowed. When I brought it up to the people at the front desk about the trash build up there answer was the custodian was not there. I said so ur just going to leave it there like that his answer was yes. The manager need to do a better job with his staff keeping the place clean and up to date

Had a guy get into my locker, don't know how. Ran me for 1400$ on credit cards called the cops for the report. The next time I went to the gym and asked the manager what are yall doing about it (like being more secure when checking people in) ... manager didn't even know. The lack of care is wild It's Good gym as far as location and the amount of equipment, but the quality of equipment and how dirty the gym is... people throw the weights around and don't rerack the weights. The workers don't care about what happens there enough to make it a nice gym.

Half of the machines are always broken , paper towels are always missing. When you need to wash your hands or even clean a machine and after and before each use ,there are no supplies to do it with. This is because the front desk clerks are too busy talking and hanging out with their friends instead of doing their job...

After hours this gym becomes a public gym. People bringing friends and teenagers with their group of friends. Plus the gym is always full. Of all the gym i have joined in my life this is the absolute worst.

I go here because It’s convenient. The gym is beautiful but so dirty and unorganized. Bathrooms are dirty sometimes there is no paper towels on the second floor. Sometimes the bathroom upstairs is locked. Sometimes the cardio machines are full of sweat and have little puddles of water on the corners. I used to go as well before COVID and it was so much better they had a cleaning staff and would keep the gym clean now it’s almost always dirty

I gave them two stars because I have been a member of 24 hours for a very long time even when I stop being a member during the pandemic, I came back to them since I recently moved from Miami Beach and this is the closest gym to me however, the gym is always over packed. It is very messy and the bathrooms are disgusting. The sauna does not work every other day, and it is very very small for being a super sport. I used to love the one in Cutler and Kendall but unfortunately those closed but would recommend any other for what you’re paying, there is literally no space at any time. I go to the room to work out due to the crowdedness. On top of it All You can literally see the same complaints about this gym

I was looking to join this club, this homestead location but the consistent reviews on how dirty and disorganized this place is have discouraged me. I really wanted to enjoy the sauna and the pool on a daily basis but not under these conditions.

New to the area and was looking for a new gym. Met with Alyssa and she took me on a tour. She was really knowledgeable about the club and what was being offered at the time with each membership. She was honest and up-front and wanted to know what I wanted to get out of a gym. Will definitely be joining.

The gym is very deteriorated, a lot of the equipment does not work or there are holes in the chairs. Today I almost fell because the treadmill stopped at the moment and on top of that the second floor was full of water. They don't collect garbage. They adapted a room for the personal trainers but they removed machines from the common area and we also paid and deserve more respect. The bathrooms are disgusting. We demand that they respect us, whether they can get the money from the annual fee and the membership, whether they can fix and clean.
