We had an absolute amazing time. Jake made sure we all got chance to catch something. He was great with our teenage boys, teaching and talking to them like he had known them forever. Highly recommend!! There is no other way to spend a beautiful morning but then on the water!

We had a great time with Captain Jake. The trip was a birthday present for my husband and he had a fantastic time. He and my son caught several fish and even a few sharks. Captain Jake was very patient and knowledgeable . We will definitely use Reely Livin Charters again when visiting Atlantic Beach!

The first day’s trip was nearshore fishing for Spanish Mackerel; the second day he delivered an inshore trip with Sheepshead and Redfish! Best of all, he offers accommodations right across the street from where we met him at the dock. His experience and personality makes for fantastic time from beginning to end! Seriously, one of the BEST days of our lives! Captain Jake was so easy going and laid back, knowledgeable and flexible. He was ready and willing to make our personal charter a day full of wish list experiences. Being a photographer, I always have crazy ideas for photos and Jake was willing to get down in the sand (literally) to get this shot and make my vision come to life! There is nothing like being on the water on a crystal clear day, feeling the wind through your hair, treasure hunting with your family and reeling in a big one! This was an anniversary gift for my husband and I and money well spent! We look forward to the day we get to do it all again. Thank you Jake!

Captain Jake can consistently put you on fish as well as any of the guides in the area. Today, he put my father and I on a school of nearshore Spanish Mackerel which we targeted using live Menhaden—Reely Livin’ Charters go-to-move for targeting “bigguns” around spawning time. We didn’t choose Reely Livin’ Charters because we wanted to catch fish. We chose Reely Livin’ Charters because of Captain Jake. Captain Jake is personable, attentive, safety conscious, and a great teacher… all things that make for a great charter captain. Every fisherman has something to learn, but, Jake makes you want to learn… regardless of your age or experience level. He isn’t condescending and doesn’t sound like a know-it-all when he offers tips, tricks, or advice on the water. I can only imagine how awesome it would be to fish with him as a 10-year-old… but my father and I can tell you from our personal experiences that it’s definitely an awesome experience at 24 and 67. Had the absolute best time with Jake on our most recent trip! We had no expectations coming in and the trip was everything we had hoped for and more! Jake was extremely knowledgeable and it was clear he knows the area like the back of his hand. Jake was very professional and made someone like me that hadn’t fished before, comfortable. If you are debating booking a trip, please do it! You won’t regret it! We already look forward to coming back.

Gale Warning the morning of fishing called for a change of plans. We went up river instead of ocean. Early morning bite was tough but Jake never gave up trying, always being on the move looking for active fish. After a tough morning, the fish gods looked down on us and the action picked up and we caught a bunch of fish. Jake is a great knowledgeable guide, very friendly, wont hesitate to book with him again in the future.

My husband took my father and 2 girls out for a day of offshore and inshore fishing with Jake. I was nervous sending a 6 and 9 year old out on the ocean for the first time and had to look very carefully at who I was sending my family with. Jake took such great care of all of them. It was about so much more than fishing. All of them came back raving about how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed themselves. They all learned about the area, the history, the ocean, the fish, and the ecosystems that are in the area. Jake was so generous with his knowledge and skills. All of them want to go back out and can't wait to go again with Jake. I can't say enough good things about the time they had and the experience for each of their skill levels.
