The food is way to salty. I received the fried steak fingers and it was salty. There's a difference between seasoned and salty. I couldn't finish my order. My husband got the pulled pork...it was bland we added the BBQ sauce but it just lacked seasoning and flavor to give it that BBQ taste. My kids got the hot dogs. No complaints from them regarding that. The service was phenomenal but I would not revisit due to the taste of the food. Follow me @nxtlevelneek on IG for more honest reviews.

The staff is friendly and the food comes fast. We sat outside and it was perfect outside. The buffalo chicken potato was so good and cooked perfectly. The lunch discussion country fried steak was good and moist. The gravy on the mashed potatoes was good and the potatoes themselves were good. The Brunswick stew has a heavy bbq sauce taste but it was still tasty.

Pleased with their options and pricing, though the entire menu is not posted. Daily specials are offered as well. Several bbq sauce options for those who like specific types. Looking forward to trying out more of what they offer.

Ribs were good and tender but lacked seasoning. My Buffalo potato was delicious with the Jalapeño ranch and i added onions. Okra was fried perfect!

Pulled pork lunch plate, hot and good. Inside and porch seating. Place order inside. Employees are friendly, and quick to help. Fairly short hours. In Pine Mountain, a nice place to walk about.

What a great barbecue restaurant! Wife said the ribs were as good as any she had ever had, I love my cheesburger which was smoked! I highly recommend you go here even if it looks busy because it will be busy because it is so good! The line was long but moved very quickly, I have no complaints at all will eat here when we come back to FDR.

Great place to eat with the family! My family was visiting from Texas and we all enjoy the Whistling Pig ( all 11 of us )! Great atmosphere and everyone enjoyed their meal! Plenty of decorations and a quarter machine where you get a little surprise to keep the little ones busy and occupied! There's also items other than bbq for the little ones like a corn dog and fries! Staff was very nice. Hopefully we will be visiting again next year!!

We dine here at least once a year while visiting Calloway Gardens during the Christmas season—they never disappoint! The food is always spot on; usually a big crowd around lunchtime (for good reason) but the line moves rather quickly.

Always good food. I ordered the buffalo chicken basket which did not disappoint. There was a total of 7 of us all together and we all enjoyed our food.

First time there. Very impressed. Been alive a while, have eaten good BBQ all over this nation. Whisking Pig ranks up there with the best of em. Will be back for more!!!

If I could leave negative stars, I would! I can't speak for the food because we never made it inside the door. There was a truck with a long trailer completely blocking the one entrance from the road and also obstructing access to the immediate parking in front. To the left of the building on the side by the other entrance from the road, is a very clearly marked handicapped parking space with yellow paint on the ground of the handicapped image. I am disabled and have a handicapped parking placard so parked in the clearly marked spot. An older man yelled at me as we were about to walk inside that I needed to move my vehicle and couldn't park there. I made several attempts to point out the marked handicapped spot and this man kept telling over me while I was talking that I needed to move and that was not a parking spot. He identified himself that this was "his building". It was also very noticeable that he was being very friendly to other people outside of the restaurant while being extremely hostile and aggressive towards my friend and myself which left us questioning why he was so hostile towards us, but so kind and friendly towards the other people. The only difference between my friend and I and the other patrons was that they were all caucasian while my friend is Hispanic/ African American and I am native American/Hispanic. I hate to even think that the reason this man, the owner was so aggressive towards us was racially motivated, but based on his interaction with the caucasion people outside and is being the only ones not caucasian and parked in a very clearly marked handicapped spot, it left both of us feeling very unwelcomed and that it was because we were being discriminated against. We left and went Dien the road to the Iron horse grill for lunch instead where we got amazing food and even more amazing service.

Best bbq pork on the planet. Mary Ann is a ray of sunshine with her big smile as she takes your order. The servers are fast and friendly. There’s always a crowd of locals of every occupation and trade. Just a great small town atmosphere and our go to when we’re in Pine Mountain. We take home 3 pounds of bbq for the freezer on each visit! PS the hand cut french fries are awesome.
