Oh my gosh! Last night was my first time here and it was amazing! Bradley was our waiter and he was a hoot! Kept us laughing the whole night! The food was to DIE for! I’m the picture here I got the crab cakes and they were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant for amazing Italian food, and great service! 11/10!

Wish I could share my pictures. I had the fried chicken with slimy skin and a raw bloody section. No apologies just an attitude of we are the best so how could our food be bad. The server said "wow" as she walked away like what gives me the right to complain. Why ask your customer how everything is if you don't want to hear the truth.

1st time eating here. The atmosphere was nice, music was a little loud for the dining area. We had a Charcuterie Board of meat, cheeses & crackers which was very good. My main dish was Breaded Chicken Parmesan and my husband had the Braised Pork & Beef. My noodles were cold when it came but they remade them and they were hot and fresh otherwise very good and leftovers for the next day.

Fantastic choice for dinner before being entertained at the Grand and only a block away, so you don’t even have to move your car! Food was delicious with care for presentation. Our waitress, Tami, was so welcoming. Extremely knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients and how items were made. Great smile and personality making our dining experience extra special. The atmosphere also adds to your dining experience. Located on a beautiful street with great shop windows to peek into. Wonderful community feel atsmophere. If you haven’t dined at Ciao, it’s a must do.

Jenny was our waitress and she was so much fun. Food was amazing, and Chef Adam always knocks it out of the park. We had friends from out of town and we really enjoyed the experience and they left impressed

Tonight was my first time at Ciao and it was fantastic! Everything I had was wonderful, but the Espresso and Stout Pork Belly was by far my favorite. It was so tender and delicious. The espresso and stout sauce was so delicious I wanted to drink what remained. The pear martini was not only beautiful but delicious. The Sausage & Gnocchi was probably the best gnocchi I’ve ever had. It was so tender and I think there was just as much sausage as there was gnocchi. All in all I would highly recommend Ciao. You can’t go wrong with fresh homemade pasta!

Jen is the best waitress ever. Amanda is a really really really close second. Poulan is in a league of his own. Honestly, the only thing better than the food is the team. Oh, wait. Never mind, Drew’s drinks win!

The food is always so great. I always struggle with what to order because everything is so uniquely delicious. and the servers take time to make you feel welcome as well as make your experience as enjoyable as possible. Every time i’ve been there i leave with not just an experience, but also a memory.

Our meal was absolutely amazing. Amanda, our great server recommended the halibut special. It was the best halibut I’ve ever had. Amanda made our evening extra special with her suggestions, attentive service and fun personality. We were on a Girl’s weekend and she could have joined right in! We’ll be back for sure. Don’t hesitate to visit Ciao, it’s is exceptional.

I finished every last morsel of food. Didn’t have any room for desert but it looked amazing. The specials are out of this world. The after dinner convo was great too. The cocktails are top notch as well. I will be back for more Right in the heart of beautiful downtown Wausau.

My family decided to try something new and give Ciao a try. Ciao did not disappoint in anyway. The first person we saw as we walked in the door had a smile on his face, with an amazing warm welcome. That was followed by several other outstanding staff members. The service was probably the best I have ever had in the Wausau area. The food was delicious, and we left with our belly’s full. Thank you for the outstanding experience, service, and food!

This place was fantastic all around. Apps, lobster bisque, Italian sausage gnocchi. Our server was amazing. Had a little guy with us and she made sure he was all set up. 10 out of 10, will def go back.

Good higher end experience for dining. Prices are a little high but you definitely understand when you eat their food because it's delicious. Also finally got to try beef wellington and wasn't disappointed. Also homemade pasta

One of best meals I have ever had. The chef and server were willing to answer numerous questions on the menu. Having traveled the country for work and dined at many nice establishments, Ciao is a gem in the small city of Wausau. Saturday Beef Wellington special is deliciously executed. Atmosphere is decadent. Jenny is an amazing server. Would love to have a glass of wine with her and talk about our favorite Amazon finds.
