Pinecrest Bakery was highly recommended by the nursing staff at Kendall Baptist. We got a few pastries with cafe con leche. Staff is very friendly all the food is very delicious. If you are in the Kendall area don’t miss this gem that is open 24 hours.

I never have had a problem inside this bakery, one of their employees was an amazing hire, her name is Mariana, and shes such a sweetheart. She takes care of everything I ask. On my very first visit I walked in with my work clothes on and was treated like I usually dress-in a suit & tie. The employees here are nice I honestly dont know why some visitors have left nefarious reviews. They're open 24 hrs and are an amazing spot for a quick meal at night. They also have my favorite drink Prosecco, and Its difficult to find elsewhere in the area. Also, you can't beat the prices on their desserts- come on people they beat the local wholefoods, & fresh market prices. The price for a Prosecco bottle is very reasonable too. Their guava and cheese pastry is hands down the best I've had. Moreover, I've stop here a few times for their breakfast and it does get very busy but for some reason I'm always in an out. I guess I get here before the peak hours. I like this place. Debora is also a nice employee. If there's something you're looking for be vocal about it. If there's something you dont like let them know, they're willing to work with you. There's nothing wrong with making it known what you expect/expected politely.👍

Food and coffee were fine. What wasn’t fine was how unfriendly and unwelcoming the staff were when we arrived. The fake-blonde female cashier refused to even acknowledge or speak to us. Her nearby colleagues were also unwilling to take our order. Finally, a young man whose customer service was better but definitely not great finally assisted us. Maybe the staff felt we were out of place—two black females who they presumed did not speak Spanish. Don’t know why the staff were so unfriendly, but this was our first and also last time here on a return trip to our hometown (I grew up in Kendall and know and love Cuban food and culture—been twice to Cuba). We desperately wanted a Cuban breakfast, but we won’t return here for anything ever again. It reeks of discrimination. Management, teach your employees to be friendly to everyone and to acknowledge ALL people. Also, teach your employees to wash their hands after sneezing (saw a tall female employee handling coffee after sneezing several times in her hand without washing her hands afterward). In addition, teach your staff to not sweep at the feet of seated guests. I mean…did you guys just really not want two black women in your cafe?

First timer and not that impressed Seeing lots of reviews about this place and I want to try it myself. It was around 10.30 am , January 3rd, 2022 Little busy but not to crowded. Waited on line about 10 minutes, not too bad Trying different items for being first timer House ham croquettes were ok. I had better ones. House spinach croquettes were disappointing, barely see spinach Cheese tequeño acceptable Meat pastelitos nothing special Meat empanadas just okay Planning to come back and try different items next time to see what are people are raving about it !

They have the most delicious Deserts, especially the Tiramisu Cheesecake. Not to mention the authentic food. Try the Churrasco Sandwich, it will change your life. Aram Kulhanjian

The empanadas and pastelitos were dry and over priced. They tasted like they had been sitting in the display case for hours! We had a to-go order and discovered an item was missing. We called immediately and the woman was rude and told us to call back in the morning to speak to the manager. What an inconvenience, as we were traveling. The bathroom was dirty with no toilet paper. The only good thing is that it is open 24 hours, but so are the casinos! (the food is delicious at all the casinos in Miami!)

If you want a bad experience, this is the place to go!!! I didn’t leave a tip (because honestly, I had to wait forever for them to even take my order and the service is just terrible) they guy seemed a little upset. I ordered 6 Croquettes and the guy only packed 5. (Yes I was charged for 6) Yeah, I’m complaining about 1 Croquette. I feel like he missed this on purpose. Secondly, the food here is simply just not good. Croquettes are terrible, the toastada was barley pressed and had very little butter. So yes, I’m complaining about your terrible service, inability to count, and terrible food. There are way better bakeries then this one. Also, if you use upside app to get cash back, it wont work here because the Credit Card number doesn’t show on receipts. Just another thing to add to the list of why you should NOT go to this bakery.

The typical Pinecrest Bakery at its best!! I’ve been to the one in Key Largo, Homestead and a few others in Miami. Every single one is disfunctional and unprofessional. The women employees are all lazy, angry at the world, unethical and rude. Especially the one in Key Largo. Tonight I drove to Baptist Hospital to see a family member and decided to get her café con leche, croquetas and a few pastelito at Pinecrest Bakery on 88th an 97 Ave. (Kendall area). It was at 10:00 pm and the young lady who served me did not care if the items were cold or hot. When I opened the bag inside the.car, the croquetas were cold and stale, the pastelito tasted the same. There wasn’t any crackers with the croquetas and no sugar in the coffee. Still, they want a “tip”. I guess she was focused on her friends sitting on one of the tables playing some sort of game instead of her job responsibilities. At least heat up the food so the customer is happy, right?! This place is a “flop” and not a professional bakery, just like their other chains. I don’t recommend this place nor will I be returning. The public is better off going to the Seven eleven accross the street.

We tried to order 4 things from their menu, 2 they didn’t have (or wouldn’t prepare) and 1 had no clue how to make - it was a milkshake they made with powder milk?! Which wasn’t even properly dissolved. The attendants are grumpy and talk to you like you are stupid. I am NEVER going back here.

Clean. Nice availability of pastries and baked goods. Various coffee choices. Friendly staff. The bathroom very clean. Food was good, priced good for the amount you received. Would recommend.

Worst place if you want to enjoy delicious dessert. The guy who works there couldn't speak English, and he couldn't translate Spanish for me. How can we even hire people like that?! When I asked about the filling of eclairs, he answered me that the fillings are different and I took to try each type. But inside the filling in all eclairs turned out to be the same. Falan tastes disgusting and smells weird. Cheesecake and Oreo cake do not live up to their names. Waste of money for something that is terribly cooked. All this is from the window display and when you try the food it is immediately clear that they have been lying there for a long time, it is stale and inedible.

I ordered 2 "super" cuban sandwiches and 2 coffees. The coffee was fine and done right away. The sandwiches took over 15 mins to make. Other people ordered next to me and received their hot sandwich before I did. When the food arrived to the sandwich station they were heated for only a few seconds and given to me. Aside from the overwhelming mess of mustard and mayonnaise, and lukewarm temperature, they didn't even put in the pork! A big component of a cuban sandwich that is supposed to have "extra" meat with the "super" title. Additionally, by the time the sandwiches arrived the coffe was just as cold. Never again coming here for a "quick" sandwich.

I always like coming here I had a senorita with the top in chocolate and a small coffee con Leche. It was good. This place is full on weekdays around lunch. Highly recommend this place.

Today I drove past this bakery and decided to stop by because I was hungry. The service was very fast and helpful. The girl at the checkout gave me advice on what to order. The coffee was also delicious. I recommend this coffee shop-bakery. Thank you😊

This place is ridiculous. For a chorizo and cheese croissant they charged me $10.63. When I questioned, she said because I changed the ham for chorizo. If they would ha explained that to me before charging me, I would have changed my mind. Terrible service. Btw, the croissant was terrible. Was barely hot. Cheese was not even melted. First and last visit. So many better options out there.

If you are in the mood for Latin pastelitos, they have a huge assortment. HOWEVER, the prices are outrageous for the quality that you could get at another, cheaper cuban bakery. I don't recommend trying any of their desserts. I got a slice of chocolate cake. The cake was dry and the layers were separated by an overly sweet chocolate and vanilla meringue NOT buttercream. I shudder to think what they would fill the Opera cake with! I think that basically, it is an overpriced Latin bakery which is just one of 10 million that one could choose from in Miami. Very disappointed in the quality and pricing of the food.

The only Pincrest Bakery worth going to is bird road east (NOT WEST). Kendall baker just had me waiting at work for an hour before canceling my order, on top of that the order is wrong most of the time it is actually delivered. Hot garbage, go somewhere else.

We had a very bad experience on Father’s Day… my son went by the bakery to bring a Flan for our gathering and unfortunately the flan or something similar, it was spoiled and with green moe. It had expired on 06/16. And they where still selling it. Please check the expiration dates on package items that they sell. When my Son took it back the person’s comment was… Oh Sorry!!! They did returned the money.

Customer service here is terrible! I went there today and paid for a teqeno and a an empanada however when I got home and opened the bag the teqenos was missing. When I called the restaurant to complain the lady on the phone was very rude and asked if I had a receipt when I didn’t get one. It could have been easily solved by her apologizing for the mistake and offering another one

I don’t even know where to start, I’ve been to days at the hospital w my husband the 2 times I went to get some breakfast the same lady was taking my order extremely rude and she clearly didn’t want to be there 1st day the café con leche didn’t hace coffee at all, batido de mamey was watery , tostada w no butter and completely smashed croquetas I notice all this when I got back at the hospital I came back this morning and I mentioned very nicely and calm almost like a joke about the cafe con leche and the tostada she even told me that if I wanted extra butter she’ll have to charge me extra I said it was fine and also order another smoothie my surprise comes when I came back to the hospital and the cafe con leche was more coffee than milk , tostada again w no butter even though she charge me for extra butter and the smoothie was just ice and sugar you couldn’t really taste the mamey so disappointed I’m not going ever again to this location.

Thought I'd stop in for quick lunch and to pick up desserts for an office I was visiting. (Staying at the Hilton beside it). I stopped in regardless of the reviews because of the convenience. There's a blond lady who saw me enter, stand at the register behind someone she was helping then proceeded to go to another register and say "next" to the people behind me as if I literally wasn't standing there for 10 minutes. She continued to take take other people until I made it clear I was not helped. Also, the sandwhich I ordered was $2 cheaper on their menu than my bill said. Odd..

Good bakery with great food. The only caveats are that they have very loud salsa music all the time so it is not the best place if you want to have conversations and relax. Its good to go grab the food and go somewhere else. UPDATE: After a few more visits, I have to first note that the music is not as loud as it used to be which is a big plus. Unfortunately, however, I must remove a star from my prior review, for a few reasons: First, the ladies at the cashier are simply not very customer friendly - they barely make eye contact, seem primarily eager to move on to the next person, and at times seem somewhat dismissive. Second, the quality of the coffee is often a function of the barista making it, but here the variability is much too large. The lady that made my coffee today for instance made the "cafe con leche" taste like an instant-pot cafe au lait, the kind that you get from a $20 machine. It does not feel like a cafe con leche made with an espresso shot, as it was highly diluted. Overall, this is a place that has lots of potential, particularly as their croquettes and bakery items are decent (particularly freshly baked), but I feel that the personnel requires training to become more customer-facing and friendly, and even more importantly, additional emphasis must be placed on consistent attention to detail (vis a vis, the quality of the coffee drinks).

We ordered the croquettes and beef empanadas both were delicious but the Cortadito was amazing! If you are not in the mood for food just go for the coffee.
