I just returned from visiting this place. All they talked about was how they were renovating it. All the renovations in the world cannot take away from the smell (masked by plug-in deoderizers) and the overall shabbiness of the place. Even though I had thoroughly and honestly explained my mother's condition to them over the phone, they agreed to an appointment. I took my mother there, who is wheelchair bound because of a broken hip but in full possession of her faculties. We took the tour, even though they refused to discuss pricing with us.. After the tour, my mother was evaluated by a nurse. Then the "tour guide" and the nurse conferred and we were given the "bad news." My mother could not move in because there was no room in the facility for her level of care (which was not all that excessive...bathing, helping with dressing, assistance to the bathroom and lunch room, etc, standard assistance living care). I can't help but feel that my mother did not meet their standards of "renovation" that they so emphasized during the tour. Perhaps they are looking for a more upscale clientele. In that case, this place needs a lot more renovating than painting and creating new rooms, like a serious examination of the air quality, carpets, elevators, and overall shabbiness of both the place and the residents.

Every time I step foot in this building, I am always greeted with a smile and the upmost professionalism. With a strong Executive Director and Director of nursing, this community offers great quality of care and is a great place to look for Mom and Dad. They do an amazing job at making this community feel like "Home."

If you love your family member, DON'T PUT THEM HERE! The caregivers are amazing but the lack of communication and care between administration and RN with doctor and family members is unbelievable! My dad was placed in memory care unit on October 19th and his condition has deteriorated ever since! He was just taken to the hospital via "non-emergency transport for a psychological evaluation" at the recommendation of the RN and when he arrived at the hospital MANY hours later, he had a temperature of 102.8, was suffering from hypothermia, his heart rate was at 40 and his blood pressure was sky high! This is one of many examples of the lack of care for their resident's wellbeing and fortunately it's the last one for my dad as I can't trust my father's life in their hands!

Admittedly, I had been somewhat doubtful regarding the operational aspect(s) of assisted living facilities; and their treatment of residents. However, upon careful examination of both staff and the facility itself, I grew to become more open-minded about the matter, at Grand Villa. This particular facility has wonderful staff members, such as Trish and Keke; who graciously accepted my father into their facility; enabling his transition to feel more like home than an actual facility. In short, Grand Villa is a very professional, highly regarded assisted living facility that will treat your family as family. I highly recommend this place.

The staff made it so easy for us. They were helpful, answered all our questions, and had the patience to give us the time to make the correct decision. They walked us through the whole process and made it easy for us in a process that is hard and stressful. I can’t wait to see my mom flourish in this new phase of her life!

I thought I would have a lot of searching to do to find a safe, clean, wonderful environment for a loved one but I was wrong. The minute we walked into Grand Villa in Deerfield we were so impressed. The kindness, cleanliness, and cheerfulness of the staff was incredible. We immediately all felt this was the right place. The activities, menu, services, and care our family member would receive were so impressive. The way the staff treated the residents and the way they treated each other, as co-workers, assured us we didn’t have to look any further. Trish, Elizabeth, and Ms. T thank you. We look forward to move in day and to all the wonderful experiences ahead for our family member.

There is nothing more difficult than having to place your parent into an assisted living facility. You want the best care and the most loving environment possible for your loved one…and The Grand Villa Assisted Living Facility in Deerfield Beach has been just that… nothing short of outstanding. The excellent care, friendliness, warmth, attentiveness, and sensitivity exhibited by the staff especially in regard to my fathers special needs of being deaf have surpassed my expectations. Everyone in this community has gone above and beyond to help make my fathers transition as smooth as possible. Thanks to The Grand Villa, my father is receiving the best possible care. I have peace of mind knowing he is in such good hands. I wholeheartedly recommend The Grand Villa to anyone seeking exceptional assisted living services for their loved ones.

A great facility of care for our elderly. My mother has been at the facility and Gabriel is amazing as the licensed nurse to care for my mother and her friends at the facility! The facility is clean and thoroughly protected for the protection of residents! Place my mother at this facility was the best decision I made in her care.

I have been living here for three months and got a great impression form the time that i walked in the front door. It has been remodeled and continues to be, and is very well kept. the residents and staff are friendly, pleasant and accommodating. My apartment is perfect for me and has become home. the management staff is always available when i need them. Any concerns that i have are always addressed quickly. it is a great place for me to be.

Very nice place because its very nice employees. They are friendly and very diligent. I have especial grateful for Anatalie Porter. She goes above and beyond to help us with my mother and my mother loves her. I have no enough words to say thanks to her. The whole team is fantastic. Thank you Team.

Not too long ago I took my father to visit his friend to GV Deerfield and I was very impressed with how the place looked and felt. The staff was amazing and the one aid walked us to my father's friend's room. I had a different idea of assisted living facilities. I saw residents walking around happy. The lobby area looked inviting and the activities area looked so fun... The staff was having a good time with the residents. my father loved it as well. He said I could live here with a smile on his face.

My father was welcomed with open arms and treated very well. They also recognized him as a veteran and showed him the respect that he appreciated. Miriam was the additional touch that made this place feel like home for my father!! Thank you Grand Villa staff for all your hard work!!

My family and I have loved all the care and help from the facility making the switch of my grandfather moving in. Everything went smoothly and the management have even helped with things relating to other projects, like school assignments and a Girl Scout Gold Award. Everything is very clean and modern in the facility, which makes it feel safe to be there to visit. There can also be many accommodations made, which helps make all of our family feel like my grandfather is at home.
