South Florida Rehab and Training Center was a cut above any rehab facility I've experienced. JD, my Physical Therapist, was incredibly knowledgeable, and I have progressed tremendously with my shoulder and quad rehab. Very nice atmosphere, everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome and above all they do an amazing job and leave you stronger than ever. I would highly recommend this rehab and training center to everyone!!

South Florida Rehab and Training Center is the absolute best rehabilitation and therapy facility around. From the first day I walked through their front door, I knew that I was in good hands. Beginning with Cortez, who greeted me that first day, all the way through to the last day of my treatment, each one of my encounters with the staff were wonderful. Their entire team is professional, courteous, friendly, and authentically caring. I always left my sessions with a smile as Gabe’s team consistently delivered treatment filled with compassion and jokes. I cannot say enough about JD and John. They are hands down the best therapists in town. They did an amazing job of restoring my 84-year-old hip. Their knowledge, attention to the patient, and magic hands are beyond amazing. I recommend both 100%, and the facility as well.

My son suffered a Lithle league shoulder injury, we first started at a rehab center where they were not doing very well with my son. We made the decision to change SFR and it was the best decision in the world. First Katie took care of us, she was super dedicated to my son but she changed jobs, but then Gabriela took care of her and wow, super good too. My son recovered and we continued to do therapies even 2 months after the doctor released him.

Came in with back pain after lifting a weight that was too heavy. JD treated my back and I left feeling great and with a better understanding of how to lift weights properly! 10/10 recommend SFR for all physical therapy and training needs. All the therapists and staff are super friendly and well educated with knowledge they are happy to share! Thank you SFR team

After several weeks of physical therapy at SFR I can honestly say it is top notch in all regards. The physical facility is clean, well laid out and has a wide variety of equipment. But what makes SFR stand out among its peers are the people who work there and make their clients welcomed and a priority. From Gabe, the owner, who is very affable and routinely checks in to see how all clients (both those he is managing and those assigned to others), are progressing, to David who keeps clients entertained while he meticulously cares for them, to Michelle who efficiently handles appointments and manages the front desk, all personnel work together to provide excellent care. I was fortunate to have been assigned to a “dream team” — JD, a doctor in physical therapy, and Ryan, a PT student who is months away from his advanced degree. After a comprehensive evaluation of my back issues, they put together a progressive program to address the issues and to make me stronger. Ryan was tasked with my day-to-day care while JD provided excellent oversight and valuable contributions based on his extensive training experience. Ryan is a superstar—he is caring, knowledgeable, and pushes his clients to achieve their desired goals all while maintaining a smile and an engaging personality. Suffice it to say I have been extremely satisfied with the PT services at SFR. If you have an injury or need strength training, give SFR a call—you won’t be disappointed.

South Florida Rehabilitation is an all around facility. The doctors and staff are always concerned about you as a person not just a billing opportunity. Their encouragement shows their empathy for your physical as well as mental struggles to keep you on track to recovery. Because of their deep and sincere concern for their patient, they use latest treatment methods to help you recover from your injuries. Many athletes from all ages, come there to improve their physical abilities as well as properly train to reduce injuries. It isn't like your regular local gym.

Went in after shoulder surgery and received nothing but the best service ! David was my therapist and he was great! The rest of the staff was amazing as well. Hands down, the best in Miami !

I would highly NOT recommend this place to anyone who is in need of physical therapy. I was coming here for a couple months. The overall facility was nice but some of people there do not know what they are doing. One of the men working there was working with me on my shoulder and he tried pushing my arm back and it resisted and I said I can’t go any further. Instead of just simply listening to me he told me to relax and continued to push it further back after I specifically told him I didn’t feel comfortable doing so. My shoulder ended up coming out of its socket (which is why I was there in the first place) and I was the one who ended up putting it back into place. I was in excruciating pain screaming and crying in the middle of the room. It was embarrassing and I felt helpless. The man did not even apologize to me after the fact. All this place did in order to compensate for their mistake was offer to not charge for that session. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with my whole experience here.

I have had the best experience with Physical Therapy in my life. The facility is always clean. The staff is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and kind. These things are so important for recovery. David takes the time to know you not just your injury. All of the people who have worked with me have been amazing. Michelle and the other girls up front are really sweet and welcoming. Overall I would say that this is a reflection of great ownership. Happy and smart employees start at the top. I would recommend anyone I know to go to SFR!

JD, my Physical Therapist, is one of a kind, I wouldn’t be able to be back & racing in my extremely competitive sport if it wasn’t for his rehab and training program after an extreme shoulder surgery I had two years ago. Gabriel & Yolanda the owners have become family and are the most welcoming people you’ll ever meet! The facility is amazing, clean & the equipment is top notch! They really strive to be the best! I would highly recommend this rehab and training center to everyone!!

Gabe and his team are the best in the game. I have been going to South Florida Rehab since high school and they have help me avoid most injuries athlete get when playing. Gabe was also instrumental in getting my team and I body right when we won state championship.

Was recommended to SFR by a friend and went in due to some tendonitis pain. BEST DECISION ever. JD was my PT and he worked his MAGIC on my foot. Went from a 50% to a 90% in just 3 sessions b2b before heading into a hefty walking trip (125km). Will def. Recommend to anyone.

I wanted to share my experience at South Florida Rehab Center - I worked with a few doctors/therapists including Dr. Justin Dages (JD). He was very professional and friendly. I came into this rehab center right after surgery and although I worked with JD only a few times, he has kept in touch and done check-ins to see how my injury/recovery process is doing even after I stopped going for treatment. I value doctors who invest their time to really understand their patients' physical struggles and not only work on a treatment plan to improve them at the individual level but truly listen to the patient's concerns. He is a great communicator and always puts the patient's needs first (despite him already having a treatment plan). I highly recommend JD and SFR Center!
