😠 The food was good, the coffee was fine. But just leaves a sour taste when $12 sandwich and a $4 coffee turn to $23+ because you don’t realize that they already added 15% and they hand a machine to tip with a minimum set of 20%. The food was good, the coffee was fine. But just leaves a sour taste when $12 sandwich and a $4 coffee turn to $23+ because you don’t realize that they already added 15% and they hand a machine to tip with a minimum set of 20%. So I ended up tipping way more that I would for a drive thru “service experience”… which I would tip this much , but not with a hidden way how they have it setup… please for the love of your business! If you do want people tipping at least 15% then don’t setup your machine to ask for up to another 20 or 30% .. everything is going up , and people like me can’t be going out and be tipping 30 or 40%… pay your employees and don’t pass this cost to your customer thru the form of a hidden fee. Change your toast machine to ask for 5%, 10% or 15% and make it clear you are already charging 15%. I won’t come back.

I used the drive thru for a 20 oz. iced Americano, black. I was a bit shocked to discover this rather simple drink costs $6.25. While paying with a handheld device the attendant said, "Is 15% okay?" rather than allowing me to choose my own tip. I found this to be unusual and unpleasant as I felt it was mandatory to tip for drive thru service. This put the cost of my Americano to over $7. I looked over some other reviews by different contributors and I noticed several other people complaining about the same issue with the tip. I have to wonder if this establishment adds in a mandatory 15% tip to pay their workers less. I give the taste of the Americano 3/5. Not bad but could have more complexity. I may try this place again in the future and I will update the review if necessary... But there are many other great coffee places in St Pete that I would rather visit, and this experience was highly unusual when compared to them.

All of the younger staff are lovely. The older woman who seems to think she’s in charge is rude and appears mentally unstable. Food is not terrible but portions are stingy and they charge for any minor modification for food sensitivities.

Love Pineapple Espresso. Adorable drive through concept decorated seasonally and friendly staff. My favorites are the PBLT, citrus/ beet toast (sub goat cheese for feta), matcha lemonade and their almond milk lattes. Our son Landon loves the egg and chee and their local baked muffins. I come here at least twice a month.

How have I missed this place? Got the seasonal Frittata this morning with my Cafe Americano and was surprised by the care in flavors and presentation. Carrots, peas and feta on Arugula with smashed avocado on the side. Well done friends. Quality ingredients. Creative menu. The young staffers were welcoming and polite. Note: This place is drive through only and they ask you if you are ok with adding 15% gratuity. I would have added 20% To be frank, When Kahwa closed on 38th I was lost without a coffee shop. This is arguably better because it’s more than just a coffee shop.

When I think about the experiences I have had at this amazing cafe, I can’t imagine my coffee or meals made any other way. The service you receive is impeccable and of the best around, This is more than just a cafe-it’s truly a second home I have found. Don’t waste another moment-please stop by and check them out, Making you feel at home is what they’re all about. 😉

The coffee? Bold and flavorful. The service? Quick but personable. The food? Fresh and delicious with restaurant quality presentation. The prices? Affordable and well worth it. The atmosphere? Tropical and calm. I can’t believe I missed this eco-friendly place so many times and I live right down the road! Definitely a spot you have to keep an eye out for. This tiny gem has two drive thru lanes and that’s mainly how they service you. I was craving some good coffee and I wanted to support a local business. Definitely go here if you’re feeling like how I was. Make sure to tip your servers!

Food and drink are alright. The service is about as good as one can do for the kind of operation they’re running so no complaints there. There isn’t really too much atmosphere to speak of as it’s mainly a drive thru with a few bar height tables you could stand at and lean on. The one thing that got me messed up tho was the $4.50 charge + tax (not including tip) for simply a standard double shot espresso. I didn’t even pay that much for an espresso in NYC post-pandemic. TBH if it even came in some kind of interesting cup with a cool little insignia design or anything stamped on it it might make me feel like it was special or something but it doesn’t even have that. At best, if you’re desperate for decent coffee, I’ll give them that but they should at least spruce up the branding or something idk just seems overly expensive for a product that felt like it was lacking anything special

My family and I walked up to grab some coffee and talk to the staff about purchasing some of their coffee. We also purchased food and beverage. I asked the server about their background they stated I don't know our background. I ask to speak to someone about purchasing coffee and they said everyone was busy call back on Tuesday. Got alot of weird looks from the staff like we didnt belong their. When I think of espresso and specialty coffee I think of a warm and friendly atmosphere. I just didn't get it here. Espresso was ok, my kids didn't care for the food. A bit disappointing as I live 1.5 hours away and won't have the opportunity to easily visit them again to get a second chance to try them out.

This breakfast coffee place is by far the best breakfast coffee place I have ever been to in my entire life. Pineapple espresso has an amazing assortment of coffee and Michelin star quality food. Their poached eggs are perfect. They use locally sourced food, fresh sprouts, exotic ingredients, The toast is perfectly cooked. Everything is done with perfection and I mean perfection in the most literal sense of the term. It's expensive. Yes, $40 for two people plus tip, But you're not going to be able to get a better breakfast than this in the area. I'm so blessed to live near this restaurant and I will continue to go here until the day I die.

Today I had a WONDERFUL garlic tomato frittata, LOVINGLY explained, by MING. She made my experience the BEST, by being adorably engaging! THANKS 🍍☕, for always being DELICIOUS.

I love getting the beet and avocado toast. Soooo delicious. This weekend i took my doggie with me to go pick up some food. The girl at the drive thru was so sweet and asked if she could give Rocco a treat. She gave him some bacon and both his and my day was made! Thank you for showing my baby some love :)
