Just a little more emphasis on the Colombian than the Peruvian...but still absolutely authentic, delicious and very decent table service. I took my Peruvian wife here for her birthday and she was very happy with it. Anytime we are back in the St. Petersburg area we'll definitely consider this place again. Prices are a little bit high but quite fair for what you get, and likely you'll need a leftover bag when you leave. The photos show my and my wife's lunch choices. My son's is not shown.

Had a wonderful meal with family. The ceviche was very nice; my first time trying it. The passion fruit juice had great flavor. The shrimp was fresh and delicious; the pasta sauce was nice. The sauce was thick and a little sweet. The empanadas were very light. The sauce had a vinegar aftertaste. My first time tasting food from this culture. I would definitely return. Service was great staff explained the menu and gave suggestions.

Really enjoy the atmosphere of this restaurant. Our waitress was very sweet and nice. She talked to us about menu items and even gave us a calendar of the upcoming music events in the restaurant. Very personable and great service. The food is really delicious too and the pricing is great! I'm from NJ and have now been here twice while on vacationing on 2 different trips. I'd definitely visit again!

2nd time visiting this restaurant. Food is still good, but service was awful. Not sure if our waitress was new or distracted, but she made too many mistakes from the moment we placed our order. She brought us two drinks that we never order, and the disappeared for a long time when we needed water. We had to ask some other waitress. Then she also messed up our food order which we had to send back. No apologies, instead she tried to put it on us. Hope she is trained properly or I'm afraid this will cause the restaurant to loose some business.

Wife and I went on valentine's night and place was packed, waited at the bar and were seated in twenty minutes. Serious South American decor and flair, loud music and louder guests, loved it! Live music, couples were dancing and everyone seemed to be having a great time. First time at a Columbian/Peruvian place and enjoyed it thoroughly. Food is plentiful and tasty for the price. We got the seafood rice platter and steak with crispy pork belly and chorizo. Have enough leftovers for two more meals!

What an interesting mix of Peruvian and Colombian dishes, I was thoroughly impressed with the seasoning and blending of the ingredients here. The ceviche was delicious!! I enjoyed every bite, also they are generous with the portion sizes, especially for a good price. My companion said the cazuela was a bit too creamy but still had a great flavor. The ambiance is family friendly and has authentic decor and music, we never had drinks but they looked amazing and our the staff is possibly the most pleasant set of people I’ve seen in a restaraunt in this area in a very long time! Fue una experiencia fantástica!

Was looking for a hispanic food in the area and was lucky to found this place. Food was absolutely delicious and the server gave us an outstanding service. We enjoy all night with the music and behavior of the place. So much fun and the decoration of the place makes you feel the theme of a Colombian Peruvian restaurant. Awesome experience!!

This place is excellent!! Food is delicious and fresh. The "Leche de Tigre" is out of this world. One of the best ceviche!! Portions are good and the Pisco sour is out of this world. I highly recommend this place.

THANK YOU LA MORDIDA!! This place is absolutely AMAZING!! They did a wonderful job hosting our reception! I cannot stress enough how delicious the food is, how delightful the staff is, and how beautiful the atmosphere is. Definitely will be a forever spot that we dine and we will look to host more parties here in the future. A special thank you to the manager David for making this all possible!!

Huge portions! Great service, authentic Peruvian food, good value for money. Pisco sours were good though they were a little too sweet and not strong enough haha. Will be back!

A friend invited me there for lunch Sunday. She frequents and loves the restaurant! Very nice atmosphere and had live entertainment, good menu and not too expensive. If you like Latin food and music you probably would like La Mordida Restaurant.

Been driving past this place for months now and always wanted to try it. Upon entering, I loved the atmosphere. It's beautiful. Lots of things to look at. The hostess was very welcoming. She sat us immediately and the waitress came soon after. She took our order. I ordered an app, a drink and my husband ordered a juice. She came back with my drink and then never came back. I had to flag down the hostess to get my app which arrived one minute before my entree. We were 75% done with my meal before we had to flag the hostess down again to get the juice for my husband. I paid $29 for my steak which was well presented but the taste very mediocre. Won't go back.

M-F 3pm - 7pm. Amazing prices and deals. C’mon a bottled beer for $2.00!? Can’t beat that! And the bartender Luis is wow! Definitely attended my every needs! And his professionalism and customer service is outstanding 🤩 And to mention the bakery 🧁 REALLY?! Amazing!! Truly! Come visit here and enjoy delicious Peruvian food!

Food portions as shown in the picture are very small, I have never in my life gotten this small portion with this level price ($15) at a hispanic resturant. However this is clearwater and it is a sit-down resturant, so things are more expensive by default. Taste-wise it was okay, not the best not the worst. The beans did not have flavor at all but the meat and rice was ok. The main thing I'd reccomend this place to others would be the bakery section. The bakery bread was good and fresh, good price. (Disclaimer I only tried 1 item from the bakery). All in all a solid 4 star. Tldr: If you are hispanic and are from Orlando/Miami, don't expect to be blown away by the food but it is not terrible and the atmosphere is nice. Clearwater does not have a lot of hispanic food options so it is good to support! Go in the morning for fresh bakery. :)

Really cool atmosphere and great service. They allow pets on the patio, and service animals inside. They have music late at night, but we just went for dinner. The cerviche we had was nice and fresh. My steak was just okay, because it wasn't a great cut of meat, but the sides were good. The salad could use a little dressing. My wife had a shrimp dish and the sauce was awesome. The drinks were also very good, but a little high priced. We do want to check out the music they offer so we will go back.

We were excited to eat Peruvian food because Florida has some good Peruvian food. We should have known immediately upon arriving because it is one of those combined restaurants… Colombian and Peruvian food. Meaning, they probably can’t do either well. Whatevs though, we were starving as we’d been flying all day so we stayed and ordered. Took forever to get service and once the drinks came out she forgot to bring any of the waters, some of us had only gotten water and not soda, so we were super thirsty as we waited. We finally ordered our food and it was disappointing at best. I ordered carne a la parrilla. The carne “steak” was literally so flavorless. I ate a couple bites cause i like to get my protein in; but left most of it even though all we had had that day was plane snacks. My sister ordered the bistec a lo pobre, which uses the same steak as my dish and she left hers also. My hubby ordered the jalea which was probably the best thing our entire 12 person group ordered. The empanadas are Colombian style and fried, so don’t order if you’re expecting Peruvian ones. My brother ordered atroz chaufa and causa de pollo and both were subpar. The chicha morada was a tart, and they ring this loud a cowbell for birthdays which distracts your dining experience. The kids’ menu says that kid’s meals come with cookies (probably from their bakery)but we were given fruit snacks. When our kids asked the waitress about their cookies, she told us that they didn’t have any and when they don’t they do gummies. It would be helpful if the menu said something like… based on availability, etc. Anyway, we didn’t get any silverware and the waitress wasn’t easily accessible so we had to grab our own silverware from the empty tables behind us. Some parts of the kid’s meals were forgotten. I know we were a large group; but still. We mentioned the tasteless steak and they were gracious enough to refund us one meal and throw in a couple slices of cake. Although we appreciate that they tried to handle it well, I would not recommend this place at all. If you’re looking for good Peruvian food; this is not it. Thank you.

LA MORDIDA RESTAURANT BAR is a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience. The atmosphere is lively and fun, with colorful decor and a friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. The menu is full of delicious Mexican dishes, from classic tacos and burritos to more unique offerings like the chilaquiles and mole. The food is always fresh and perfectly cooked, with generous portions that leave you feeling satisfied. The drink selection is also impressive, with a wide range of margaritas and other cocktails that perfectly complement the food. The bar staff is knowledgeable and always happy to recommend a drink to suit your taste. Overall, LA MORDIDA RESTAURANT BAR is a fantastic spot for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner for two. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is always lively and fun. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience in the city.

First time here and will definitely come back. Food was amazing and enough to take home and the decor was beautiful. Unfortunately I missed the live music as it started a bit late. My only reason for the 4 star review is the size of the menu, way too much. The food speaks for itself and I believe that they would be extremely successful if they scale down their menu a bit.

Wow!! I have driven by this place many times. Last night I decided to stop and try it out!! We were greeted immediately and seated. We do not speak Spanish, no problem! The food titles are in Spanish, but is completely well descripted underneath in English. Do not be intimidated, the staff are amazing and helpful! The ceviche was fresh with the best flavors. I had the shredded chicken with rice and beans. I will go back 1,000 times for it! I can't say enough good things about this place. I will tell everyone about this restaurant! GREAT EXPERIENCE!! Gracias!! 😊

Authentic! The cerviche is amazing and the tostones were delicious. The menu is huge so I would recommend looking before you go if you have trouble making decisions. Happy hour from 3-7pm on weekdays will save you money on drinks and food although very limited options. We went on a Monday and it was very quiet. Our server was still learning English but the only problem we had was getting the check. I will definitely be returning to try more items!

Amazing place! Great festive ambient, I came here on a Friday night and there was live music with very energetic folks singing and a lot of people dancing. The food was delicious, one of the best we had in a long time.
