Wonderful team, very relaxing and cozy atmosphere, great food and pretty close to nightlife and kite spot Paje. I prolonged my stay here several times as exploring the rest of the island suddenly didn't feel that important anymore.

This place has excellent staff who are so kind, pleasant and helpful. They even sang happy birthday to a friend on her birthday :) There are many cozy places to chill out inside or by the beach. They have good food too ;)

Simply perfect! Wonderful family vacation. After a long time, I returned with my family in Evergreen. The room were really clean and there were attetion to details. The food was excellent and the breakfast varied and plentiful. The monkey red colobus play on the palm trees and on the roofs of the bungalows... Peace and serenity reign in this little paradise. Nature is the real protagonist of this place. Claudia is sunny person and full of vitality. Thanks for this experience!!!

The location is just incredible, directly at the beach with amazing sunrise. Walking distance from the room to the beach. We met the Owner Ms Claudia, she was super friendly and nice to chat to. Atmosphere is very chilled and to relax.

Lovely bungalow on a quiet beach with excellent food & drink! Lots of chairs & hammocks in both the sun & shade. Hot water in the ensuite bathroom. Wonderful staff!

We stayed here for the second time and we plan to go for a third one. We are just in love with Evergreen. The owner Claudia and all the staff are very kind and hospitable and make you feel at home. There’s cute pets around giving a great energy to the place. The food is totally delicious and good quality. The rooms are so cozy and it feels great to sleep with the sound of the waves and also come out of your room and be right at the beach, surrounded by beautiful palm trees. I would recommend this place to anyone going to Zanzibar.

Evergreen bungalow is simply magical, nested into a private beach offering incredible view from the rooms and I have to say my favorite part was to be able to fall asleep to the sound of the peaceful ocean. Thank you to the owners who are always willing to give the utmost care to their guests.

We came to eat here, but the food quality was very bad. I got a stomach ache from it and my girlfriend to. We ate the prawns and the calamari. The guy at the souvenir next to it scammed us. He said that we payed less, but we counted it later and it was not the case. The owner is lying in his because i heard from multiple people later that this restaurant was not fair. Just be careful when you go eat here.

Most cozy place you will find on the whole east coast of Zanzibar. Nice houses with hangmocks and couches everywhere on the beach, to sit and relax. If your hungry people will climb in a tree to pick the fruits you like. The whole staff was very helpfull and friendly. Thanks for the hospitality!!

Warm welcome to a breathtaking place, really magnificent, bungalows are simple, tasteful and comfortable and the staff are sweet and caring. Constructive feedback; for the price of the food the portions are too small (bordering stingy) something needs to go up or down, I consulted other reviews and noticed this cropping up - needed to make sure it wasn’t just me being hungry! The owners/managers spent the afternoon smoking a Shisha, and idly scrolling on their phones right in front of me, it just seemed a bit of an unprofessional eyesore. Some small considerations and it would be a five star hidden gem. I would anticipate an avoidant response as seems to be the case with all of the other reviews, see below…

I stayed at Evergreen for five nights in February ‘22. What an amazing bungalows. I was greeted with such kindness and this continued throughout my stay. The room was very authentic. I had a fantastic view over the ocean. The restaurant located inside the complex was delicious. I dined here for breakfast usually. Many thanks to Claudia and Mustafa!!!

Stayed here for 5 days. Really relaxing, lots of places to just chill and read - both inside and outside. The staff is awesome and really helpful. They want to get to know you better and help you find your way. The security guy taught us to play Bao ^^ When you arrive it does not look like much but once you enter the gate everything is gorgeous! The best thing is the food to be honest ❤️ :) you can eat here for days and not be bored with the food.

We stayed two nights. The resort itself is quite lovely. Nice restaurant and bar. Nice beach with really many many sunbeds and possibilties to sit down. The room itself was very easy and functional. The windows are only with mosquito net and curtain, but without glass. As it was very windy those days, it was a little bit cold during night. Also the bathroom is included into the room itself, only divided by a small wall with lets say 1.5 meters height. But is is functional and works. Be aware to bring your own towels for the beach. Food was really good. And they had a daily changing menu as well. One afternoon we visited The Rock Restaurant, which only is a 15 minute ride away - also a cool location, but expensive for sure. And really nice, friendly and helpful staff there. Good worl, Claudia and Mustafa!

Very nice and relaxing place right at the beach with hammocks and beds at the beach to chill. Amazing food and nice drinks. They also have shisha and the nicest staff. We were hanging out there for drinks during day times and evenings and felt welcomed. When one of us was sick they even helped out with medicine and recommendations. Wifi is super stable and fast. Rooms look nice as well, though we didn’t spend a night since we had already booked a place near there. Highly recommended!

Good place on the beach side. We didn't stay at the hotel but came by to relax on the beach with a drink and a snack. Nice people, good food and reasonable prices. Option to pay with CC (add 5%) was good. Visit when in the neighbourhood of stay at the hotel.
