Such an interesting museum with lots of local history and also info on fishing and lifeboats. Plus local geology and windfarms. Also shops and trades in bygone days. Highly recommended, well worth the £4.50 entrance fee!

Great place, well worth a visit. It includes the history of life boats at Sheringham which is fascinating, the early lifeboat crews were so brave.

Tardis of a museum (much bigger on the inside than it appears from outside). Lots of interesting facts about the local area- a great place to begin your visit to the town

Excellent local museum. One of the best I’ve been to. Check out the gansey collection, including the beautiful and inspiring Gansey of Inclusivity.

Essentially a lifeboat museum with geology and info about wind farms thrown in. There is a small admission charge but well worth a visit.

We were absolutely shocked to discover how interesting this museum was showing the history of Sheringham. The museum is a lot bigger than you expect and is reasonably priced which is why we went in. They had lots of lifeboats on show and a tower that overlooked the bay which amazing picture opportunity

We called into Sheringham by chance while exploring the north coast of Norfolk and parked next to the museum. It was very reasonable to enter and there was so much to see! The exhibition on ganseys was fabulous, really interesting. We climbed up to the viewing tower for a view over the sea too. I'd recommend calling in to this museum.

Small well thought out museum. Really helpful staff and interesting displays. Visit with two children under 10 and we all enjoyed it.

Wonderful museum. Great exhibits, both in terms of content and presentation. Lots of easy to read information. Some interactive elements. In expensive. Good shop. A little hard to find the entrance. It's right on the seafront!

My and the family have passed this place the past few years with the intention of taking a look. This year, my 6-year-old son was begging me to take him in, as he wanted to see the mammoth and to be honest, I'm glad I did as it was actually really good which was a surprise to me and my wife Good displays, very friendly staff. One of them explains how they got their display into the building, which we all was thinking how Very cheap and as mentioned me and the family really enjoyed it Some interactive activities for the kids was also a nice touch It's also much bigger inside than it looks Will certainly visit again And it's certainly worth the entry fee Sheringham in general is such a lovely place and this fits in perfectly 🥰
