I visited here in April 2022 as part of walking the Capital Ring around London. This is a good sized park and includes a small zoo and maze.

Our second visit to a Brent Lodge Park in 4 years. This park is such a beautiful piece of land. We went to Hanwell Zoo where we were met with animals such as Pink/red flamingos, red leaf cutting ants and the most gorgeous red crown birds (forgotten their names). The staff were very kind and on this occasion there was a large inflatable slide and bouncing castle (£3). Prices for the zoo were around £5 for adults and around £2.50 for children over 5 (I think). You can re-enter the zoo at anytime with the receipt which is handy if you want to visit the cafe (just outside the zoo) or the play area. The zip-line ride is really cool, surrounded by a healthy amount of well-maintained grass. Perfect for a little picnic, relaxation or a spot of yoga if that’s your vibe. A GREAT day out! Oh and the car park is free! But check the closing time as you might get locked in. A be lovely out!!!!

One of many lovely green spaces in the Hanwell area. Much of the park has a natural wild look to it but has clear paths to follow and the main area has a beautiful garden area, children's play area, hedge maze and even a zoo. There is also a cafe at the entrance to the zoo and some schools bring their children here.

    1. A small but nice Zoo is located in the middle of Brent River parks; also called Church Park since the land originally was used for arlgricultural purposes by the nearby Church before it was handed over for making park in 1902. 2. Brent River aqueducts were built in 1838 and they still ply Elizabeth Tube and fast moving SWR. Engineering marvel with old Brick Work. 3. Voted as Safer Park 2022 by London Mayor.

This is a reluctant 5 star review only because the playground is old and worn out, however taking into consideration all the positives this is a great day out (if you include Hanwell Zoo). The park includes a unique hedge maze, a standard playground with some unique climbing frames, a nice well priced cafe and eating area as well as plenty of quiet picnic spots. Without a doubt the best thing in the park is Hanwell Zoo (their website doesn't do it justice). Very reasonably priced for such a great selection of animals and a nice sandpit area inside the zoo. Best to book in advance during busy times. Great day out with the kids.

An absolute gem. I didn't expect to see this and was surrounded by beautiful park space. Cheap entry - £4.50 adults / £2.50 and a cafe with decent food and drinks as well as ice cream. Also free parking which is limited but there was plenty of when I went during the school holidays.

We visited the park on a summer Monday afternoon. It was quite and tidy, benches and trash cans were everywhere. It has many entrances, so you can walk around or just do a quick jog. Child and dog friendly.

I love this park together with Churchfields and the rose garden. To walk the Dog round here is always lovely. Nice to see the zoo occasionally when dont have tje dog. But cafe way overpriced. Old friendly family run one was so much better for simple snacks.

Great park with some lovely animals, great to bring the kids as it has a cafe right next to the playground. The maze was unfortunately closed due to a wasp nest but is still a great time when open. The zoo itself could use some TCL imo, the habitats were quite run down and in need or clearing/ management to see some of the animals better but all in all, still a great time for the younger members of your family to enjoy

A pleasant park although didn’t seem as tidy as some of the other parks in the area - includes Hanwell zoo and the maze.

Been going for years, still good but they need to keep the toilets open in the day and properly get rid of the part of the zoo that is closed. By all means give it back to nature and keep it slightly unkempt, but get rid of the dangerous abandoned buildings.

Nice zoo. Good for kids to see from turtoises to alpacas. Playground inside and outside. Plus a nice maze. Some food available

There is a playground here with play equipment by Proludic. There is a small climbing frame for younger children and a larger one for older children. There is other equipment too. Next to the playground is a maze, café, toilets and Hanwell Zoo. Churchfields Recreation Ground is also nearby. The maze is closed at the moment. @playgroundadventures

Nice little zoo, if a little run down in places. It's cheap, but only takes about an hour to get around. Some interesting animals to see such as the flamingos and porcupines. There's also a playground and a maze just outside the zoo.

Park is lovely, has lots of beautiful lil features. A great maze, and nice play areas for the children. Haven't been here for about 10 years, used to love bringing my eldest children here when they were little. Bought my youngest today and was disappointed that the zoo is no longer open and functioning. But overall.a nice day out.

Lovely and spacious with lots of places to sit and relax and have a picnic. The zoo is definitely worth the visit. Animals have nice natural enclosures and are well cared for.
