Nice and simple and straightforward. No needless embellishment or complications so the food is able to speak for itself. In terms of the dishes, there isn't much to dislike in how they have been conceived - these are relatively classic taste pairings. I took the squid bao and had it as the full meal option which comes with a coleslaw and sweet potato fries. My only complaint with the food is that the bao bun, which in many ways should be the star of the show, was a little stale. Less like a happy little cloud and more like an OK piece of bread. Not a disaster but still a bit of a shame. The yuzu ice-tea I took was tasty. The interior of the restaurant is very relaxed and feels friendly. Staff were nice.

I can hardly describe how good this place is. Amazing flavours in simple, freshly prepared food. The pork toast is Michelin star flavours! If it was twice as expensive it would be cheap. Just incredible.

The best Japanese food I’ve ever tried here. The food taste awesome and the quality and the price everything was perfect to go for lunch or dinner anything. The food taste good and fresh. I do recommend this Japanese restaurant to go and try any BAO or Rice Bowl. They have many more options to eat but I do love chicken bao and rice 🍚.

The food is fresh, full of flavour and colours. If you are around the Uxbridge High Street it is worth stopping to have your lunch there.

The food was absolutely delicious, the service was quick but seating is limited so I highly recommend to book ahead if you want to dine during peak hours to avoid disappointment. The Japanese soft shell crab bao bun was my favourite Bao in comparison to the oyster mushroom Bao. The bao was really soft and we enjoyed every bite. The size of the bao is excellent for the price, you get one piece per plate. The spicy lamb rice bowl was really flavourful and paired perfectly with the sticky rice. The rice bowl also had fried fritters, some carrots and broccoli. The lamb also had a few cashews on top and that complimented the dish really well. The green curry dish was also really delicious and had a slight heat to it which I really enjoyed. I only wished the bowl had more green curry to really enjoy the dish (the meat in the dish was more than sufficient). My suggestion is to serve the dish with just the curry and choice of meat and to provide the rice in a separate bowl. They also provide fresh juices and I would recommend the apple and carrot juice. Overall I really enjoyed this place and would come back to try other dishes.

An understated gem just off the main shopping area of Uxbridge. Absolutely delicious (and affordable) food - rare to find independent businesses full stop in North West London so this one really stands out. Last time I had the mushroom udon noodle soup and I can't wait to have it again. (Plus, the people working there are wonderful)

This is about the only decent place in Uxbridge to go to for lunch. Allthe food is freshly prepared & cooked, &the ambience is friendly & relaxing. Also great choice of music & reasonably priced.

This place is an absolute gem. Visited it since it’s opening years ago and the food is always delicious and creative (often with new recipes and flavours being offered), the service is speedy, friendly and always on point, and it’s a lovely place to spend time with friends and family. Highly recommend!

I was disappointed with what you get for what you pay. Soup was made of thick noodles and few brocoli pieces, that's around 10£, couldn't eat it, ordered tempura prawn for additional couple pounds and got two tempuras made or butter, almost no prawn. Didn't work for me. In central London you can get much better options with plenty of more expensive and nutritious ingredients for exactly same price.

Came across this hidden little gem while walking around Uxbridge. We decided to get most of the bao buns they had on the menu. They tasted soo nice that we ordered more. Each bao is packed with so much flavour and they're not stingy with the fillings. The staff member was really friendly and the pricing is reasonable. We'll definitely coming back for more bao buns and to try other dishes.

I was surprised and absolutely delighted when my wife and I had lunch here. The menu is exciting and the dishes we had were very well executed. We both had Bao bun meals. 1) Soft shell crab 2)Crispy squid. Both were super, super, super. My iced yuzu tea was delicious. I want to go again.

I don’t have the words to describe how good the food is here. All the food they prepare, has so much love and thought put into it. I had the Yuzu Tea drink and the Udon Soup with tempura prawns. The soup is immaculate; the flavour is addictive and the heat isn’t overwhelming at all. For all of this it was only £13 and it was prepared for me in 10 mins. Perfect for lunch breaks 👏

This place is fantastic. We dined in at around 2pm and had the set katsu chicken, Egg tuck bao, pork toast, spring roll, corn fritte, lychee mojito and rice pudding for desert. Each dish was extremely tasty and well presented. Staff were friendly and the service was very fast. I'm not from the area but we would definitely go here again when next in Uxbridge.

I wish I could give 6 stars! Tasty, classy, imaginative food, served with a genuine friendliness, and yet very affordable. I don't live anywhere nearby, but I'm already trying to think of excuses to book another trip to the area, so I can dine here again. Open until 7 only on Friday and Saturday, the rest of the week only open until 3, so adjust plans accordingly - you won't regret it! I wish the owners would relocate to Mirfield, West Yorkshire; we be queuing down the street for this cuisine! A range of food and drink is available from Japan, China and environs. The tempura Oreos with Michi ice cream is fabulous, as is everything else on the menu.

Ordered the duck bao meal , dry nori pork toast and soft shell crab bao. The portions were very small and quite expensive for what you got. (Both pictures costing £16 in total). There wasn’t actually any crab in the bao and it was literally fried tempura. Very disappointing and I won’t come back. Despite this, the interior is nice and staff are friendly.

I love this place, the buns are amazing and I want to try everything! Tea is presented beautifully and I've so far loved everything that I've ordered and everything has been so tasty. If you don't know what to go for there's photos on the wall of their food to help, I personally recommend a bao meal. It's your choice of bao with a small salad and sweet potato fries. The aubergine bao and squid bao have been really delicious. Lovely place and staff, just wished it was open for more hours so I could come after work.

Amazing lunch, including the Miso soup. The staff were very warm, friendly and helpful. I will highly recommend this place. Also, I’ll recommend all the main courses and soup must be eaten when fresh and hot!! Definitely will visit again 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
