We
have
been
in
London
for
almost
two
years
now
and
we
always
planned
to
go
to
the
Gurudwara
but
never
got
the
timing
right.
This
Gurudwara
is
in
south-hall.
After
getting
down
from
the
tube/overground
at
southhall
there
is.
10min
walk
to
the
Gurudwara.
The
Gurudwara
itself
is
huge,
has
a
big
hall
for
marriages
and
for
people
taking
reception
pictures.
They
have
separate
male
and
female
shoe
section
and
separate
bathrooms.
After
going
upstairs
where
you
will
see
the
main
place,
chanting
from
the
Granth
is
happening
here.
Also
there
is
separate
sides
for
men
and
women
to
sit.
It’s
a
peaceful
and
calm
place.
Avoid
making
noise
here.
It’s
the
place
to
bow
your
head
down
to
the
floor
in-front
of
the
Guru
Granth
Sahib
covered
by
a
special
cloth
called
a
rumalla.
Sit
there
for
sometime
to
show
respect
,regards
and
pray.
After
you
come
out
from
the
mail
hall
there
will
be
halwa
Prasadam
that
you
need
to
take
after
bowing
down
with
both
hands
joined.
It’s
the
yummiest
Prasadam
ever.
Next
you
should
definitely
head
downstairs
for
the
langar
(meals).
It’s
free
of
cost
and
it’s
for
everyone
visiting
the
Gurudwara.
The
food
is
tasty
and
made
by
helpers
who
want
to
do
service.
After
food
we
went
to
the
kitchen
and
dish
washing
as
our
service
towards
the
Gurudwara.
That’s
the
way
life
runs
in
Gurudwara
by
offering
service
for
any
task
that
you
want
to
to.
It’s
also
a
way
if
giving
back
to
the
Gurudwara
for
the
good
food
and
comfort
it
gives
us.
I
highly
recommend
make
chapatis
it
washing
sone
vessels.
Remember
to
cover
your
head
fully
when
inside
the
Gurudwara,
you
should
not
be
wearing
any
skin
showing
clothes
like
a
skirt
or
shorts
inside.
It’s
a
modest
place
keep
that
in
mind.
