Great new venue for me, I was brought a gift voucher and had a superb morning. George is a lovely, warm and friendly character and very helpful. Great communication via email to book. Lovely venue with wonderful lakes. Friendly other fisherman on the venue. Prices comparable to lakes I fish regularly at Fordingbridge. Though I like their offer of a multiple fish ticket at Holbury and the fact you can take a guest on it which over venues don't offer. I will definitely be back. Cheers.

My first visit today. I was very impressed. Beautiful, quiet and unspoiled surroundings. The variety of the lakes is an added bonus as they all behave a little differently pushing your casting and positioning skills. Came away with a a brace. Relatively inexpensive too. Lots of parking and a George (the warden) was very helpful. Will definitely go again.

This is a fantastic place to fish, it has a beautiful scenic beauty. Always well stocked trout and healthy fighting fish. My family have known the Manager and Groundsman Dorjee (George) for over 13 years, he is the main reason we come to this fishery over other lovely Hampshire fisheries. He is a friendly chap with great banter and his fly fishing / casting expertise is the best, all you need to know about fly fishing. "The King of Grayling" and Tibet :) The Cookies

Four lovely lakes in wonderful surroundings. £48 for two fish is a bit expensive though. Considering all the fish are around 3lb, no big fish here. All in all, a nice morning but still get exited seeing the odd larger trout, so may visit other fisheries more.

Went here for my birthday, tuition from Steve, had a good days fishing, my first time fly fishing, more practice needed so I can enjoy this sport to the full.

A top notch fly fisherman's or woman's venue managed by George who goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone who visits has an excellent day's sport. Highly recommended

Beautiful venue. The dams are very well stoked and I had my quota of three fish before midday. I can truly say that I have had my best fight here. Fish number two (pictured) in The Pond took half my spool to the opposite bank and fought all the way in. Great place to walk around too. I will be back to try out a stretch of their river, and anyone keen on clear water fishing should visit too.

Twice I've visited the lakes on a 10 fish ticket which is valid for 6 months. A scenic location and well managed by George who is a lovely character. 4 lakes offering good sized trout. I'm new to fly fishing and George saw me casting clumsily. Came over to me and showed me where I was going wrong. Next time I visited, I put his advice into practice and caught 3 good sized rainbow trout. At the end of the session after weighing and bagging to take away, George made me a complimentary coffee. I watched him then help some of the youngsters on the Pond lake. A gem of a fishery managed by a legend of a man.

Went during the week on in January, cold but brilliant fun! Warm coffees and regular thawing in the hut was very much appreciated, but what's the cold, when you have the place to yourselves?
