Nice park with reasonable $6 parking. We went to fish and enjoyed the tangle free shores. There are Porta potties, due to COVID-19. Looks good for walking and biking too. Actually the bathrooms are open and have running water! We visited again in September 2021 and found that fishing in the river (on the far side of the park) is even better. They gave a casting pond, but not sure what that is all about.

Access to the famous Los Gatos trail. The walk around the ponds in the park is great as well.

Los Gatos Creek Trail is great for runners and bikers. With a variety of entrance points, it's easy to find the most convenient starting point for your workout. The paved trail surface is great for a long-distance run or a leisurely bike ride. While Los Gatos Creek Trail is not specifically catered to family activities, there are still plenty of options for families to enjoy. I recommend paying for the $6 parking fee to park close to the well maintained restrooms. You get a sceenic view of one of the ponds with plenty of space for your kids to run here. Just make sure your kids know not to get too close to the geese. The picnic tables are also a great spot for a family lunch or snack. It also offers fishing opportunities. However, it's important to follow the park's rules and regulations when fishing. Live bait and hooks are not allowed, so be sure to bring appropriate gear. Your dog must be on leash when not in the dog park. There is a very large gazebo that has a sign stating available on with reservation. It is great as a reception/gathering! Be careful how to set Google Maps to this location. I found setting the GPS to "Los Gatos Creek Park Public Restroom," which has you travel on Lost Lake LN, was the best option. Otherwise, the GPS has me pulling over to the highway shoulder and then "walking" through the creek to get me to the park... This outdoor destination offers great vistas! You found your next destination of you are looking for a beautiful place hike while enjoying nature worth your time.

This place pretty nice. Had 30 minutes to burn before an appointment, very calming. Watched some guys practicing casting, and some very tranquil geese.

Parking: $6. If you want free parking, then park on the street side outside of the park entrance. This is a great park for a quick family outing or a casual stroll. There are some paths where big ponds are visible. It's also a good place to biking and jogging.

Los Gatos Creek County Park is the best place to eat your McDonald's at. The sound of running water from the creek and the sound of revving engines from the highway makes a interesting tune. The parking cost $2 for 1 hr, $4 for 2hs and $6 for all day parking with in and out access. I didn't bring my dog today cause the dog park is closed for a month. The tables I ate my meal on have chess or checker boards on them, was contemplating on either using rocks or my French fries as pieces. The sun's been out alot this season so the water quality isn't so clear. Usually you can see fish but the water has so much algae that you can't see any life unless it's on top.

This county park is a gem! Its tranquil environment and extensive shady trails make it ideal for summer biking and walking. Although the trails can get crowded, heading south provides more shade. Additionally, both directions lead to charming restaurant areas, allowing for a satisfying post-park meal. Embrace the beauty and amenities of this lovely park!

It's pretty well maintained, has fenced areas that are separate for small and large dogs, and sees a good quantity of various dogs - most of which are well monitored by their owners, and most of which are well behaved. The large dog side is quite a lot bigger and has more shade than the small dog side, but both sides have water available. My advice would be to take a shallow plastic bowl to more easily get water from the dog fountain. I found my dog isn't real fond of the dispenser as it is (and the human fountain is used for all sorts of things - I would not recommend drinking out of it!). Dog waste disposal bags can be found at the parking area and in each of the sections of the dog park. There is a $6 parking fee which seems a bit steep, and while there is also an hourly fee, it's a bit of a hassle. There is also a pavilion, picnic area, and fly casting area here, the Los Gatos Creek trail, and percolation ponds. I recommend getting an annual pass which covers many parks in the area as well. There are a few places where you can park and walk in, but only very few as the park is pretty heavily used. The park is closed to dogs during Goose nesting season. I've never had a problem finding a place to park. By the way the dog section is at the farthest end of parking lot, past the fly casting ponds. Driving up San Thomas Expressway from Camden Avenue you can spot the park on the left.

Very flat. Saw many bikers, joggers, and hikers. $6 parking fee per vehicle. I think there is a $2 rate for an hour, too. There are limited spots on the street if you don’t mind waking a little bit. I came in mid-August and there were not many flowers as when I came in the spring. The trail can be extended to Vasona Reservoir which IMO a much better park. Nonetheless, great place if you live near here.

Wonderful paved and unpaved trails perfect for walking or biking. This is my goto place for a nice long bike ride. There are two reservoirs you can bike to, the second is accessible only by a dirt trail. The first is prettier and you can sit near the water and watch the birds. There are several playgrounds, holiday lights and a small train that kids are sure to enjoy. There's even some nice exercise stations along the way for pull ups, push ups and dips.

Came for the water management infrastructure, that’s it really. The park also has a nice parking lot and restrooms. Access to the creek trail is provided by trail. The lake and vegetation near the parking lot attracts a number of birds.

Fun fun fun. Took him a week to catch this lil baby. I reckon he is getting the hang of it. Idk much about fishing but we've been most all the lakes in the area (Hellyer is still in our to-do list.) Anyways this one have a lot more visible underwater activity then the others. And obviously then bite. Fish responsibly!

My kids really enjoyed riding their bikes along the trails, paved and unpaved. The view of the water along the trail was really pretty. Lots of birds and geese with babies to enjoy. There are plenty of picnic tables as well as a casting area, a beautiful picnic shelter, and also a pond where you can race RC boats! We saw several people fishing. The trail has a lot of traffic from bikers, rollerbladers, and skateboarders... Definitely teach the kids to stay in the right lane so as not to cause a crash!

Very clean enjoyable to walk. The random duck is excrements aren’t lying around as in some other parks. Toddler friendly, just need to keep an eye so that he doesn’t run into the pond. We biked, the ride was nice.
