This year was the best Grand National Rodeo in a very long time! The place was packed both nights, beautiful vendor booths all over, and what a show!!!! We attended on first responders night and it was such an honor. The announcer and the clown did a heck of a job keeping us entertained. The anthem singer Sofia Claire was amazing, and The Flying U did not disappoint in the least with all their participants providing breath taking exhibits on horses and bulls! The staff should be so proud. I have been attending since I was a kid, and the energy they brought back to this event was one for the books!

Amazing!! I attended the Dickens Christmas Fair 2019. As a photographer, I was transported to Old London and literally closed the place down! Planned on about 2 hour visit, 7 hours later, I left-wow!! So much to see around every corner with each time I passed through previous rooms!! This was my Disneyland!! Excellent event and venue!

Great venue for this huge Burning Man art car party - Mayan Warrior. The place turned into an extraordinary display of light and sound.

What took me to the Cow Palace was the Charles Dickens Christmas Fair which is more magical than ever. It is holiday magic extraordinaire! The parking lot is expensive - $15 , but street parking can be found.

After we lost Marina Airport, Cow Palace became one of the few autocross places in the bay area. Overall, it is a great venue an autocross venue: easily accessible, wide enough for fun autocross courses, different functional areas, etc. However, it can be very windy and will blow away many loose and light things if you leave outside of your car; the roads are very bumpy in several areas and I do hear cars bottoming out; there are many light poles (we understand it is in fact a huge parking lot). Just in case you are interested in doing autoX here, be aware of these.

The building sure has aged since my last visit, but the experience of today’s event was amazing and cool. I still wonder where the arena got its name.

Super cool place to attend an event. Plenty of parking, and so much history in this building. We attend the Dickens's Faire here every year. We used to come down for the Bull's Hockey, but they don't exist any longer. When we came down for that we used to enjoy walking the halls and looking at the old photos on the walls of the past events, concerts and what not. If you grew up in the Bay, its very nostalgic.

Fun at the Dicken's Fair. Subdued lighting makes you feel like stepping back in time. Many shows to see. Time machine great deal at $5 for pictures. Food and spirits too.

Attended AEW wrestling here last week and the seats I bought wound up being where a ramp was put for the show (so my seats didn’t exist). Andrew was there and was able to move our seats that night and gave me his contact info so he could help with the seats we had for the 2nd show 2 nights later. He was beyond helpful and super nice to deal with! Made our experience, which was the first time @ the Cow Palace, memorable and amazing! We’ll definitely go back to see shows/events there due to his great service! Picture I added was of my hubby and Andrew from the 2nd night of shows.

My experience with Cow Palace goes back to before I was born. My dad boarded his horse in the facility on the hill behind Cow Palace while it was being built. My mom grew up going to the rodeo with her friends. She was one of the young ladies to dress all in purple to try to catch the eye of Casey Tibs. She told stories of how they would sneak in. Every year my family went at least one night to the Grand Nationals. I have shown in Junior Grand and I have had students show in Junior Grand. I still have friends that show at the Grand Nationals. Funny thing is I have never been to Cow Palace when there wasn't dirt in the arena.

Dickens Faire was really fun. They did a great job making the place feel like you were in Victorian London.

The family and I really enjoyed the Charles Dickens Christmas fair. It was a very enjoyable event for all. The amount of people dressed up for the occasion was amazing it really gave the feeling that you were in old London. I'm so surprised that I've lived in this city for as long as I have and never been to this amazing event. I'll definitely be back for it next year. I may even invest in outfits for the whole family

The annex building we were in was super dingy. The San Mateo Fairgrounds is way better. I wasn’t expecting much but I was disappointed. And they made us park far away.

BMW held their iXperience there and set up courses in both upper and lower parking lots. A nice event, staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of room and free parking which was surprising.

Went for the Grand National Rodeo and had an absolute blast. Not hard to find, and parking was easy as we got there very early. Leaving was difficult but no more so than leaving any large event center. Highly recommend.

Beautiful event. Just that the food booths were not good. My kids ordered the pizza. Pretzel with cheese, polish dog and it was all stale. Would not recommend the food.

Cool place to go for events. Its like a concrete jungle in a sense. Parking is a little much @ $15.

Went to Dicken's Christmas. Event is well organized and laid out. Great little shops to find gifts. You literally feel back in thec1800's London England. Lots to look at with live shows and plenty of people in character. A must see for everyone. Great food and even a crafts section the kids. Visit their website for full details.
