Posting for my Mother, Gina. She said the experience was top notch. Even though the wait time to see a Dr. was about 5 hours, they were able to give a preliminary diagnosis based on my dog's symptoms. The Nurse and the Dr. were very communicative, keeping me informed several times with phone calls. Shout out to Bella, who was kind and gentle and took great care of my dog Bernie. It's a very well run facility with an excellent staff. I hope not to return, but if we do, I know I will get the best care for my dog.

Had a great experience with this Emergency Vet. I had to bring my cat in around 3am in the middle of the weekend. They were fast and took him in immediately as he was unable to urinate and I suspected a blockage. They did require a steep (4,000$) deposit but I understand emergency veterinary care is not cheap especially 24 hour facilities. The Vets provided me timely updates and the staff was knowledgeable and kind. I opted to take my cat to his primary care hospital for surgery once they opened after the weekend, but I would highly recommend OakVet for Emergency Pet Services.

Took our 4-month old puppy to OakVet in the middle of the night after she showed symptoms that warranted an urgent vet visit. OakVet was easy to get to and easy to check-in (done digitally via phone from your car). They were prompt and communicative. Our pup was checked by the vet and given treatment, and we were able to return home. Our pup is doing great now thanks to OakVet.

Everything about our experience at OakVet was absolutely top tier! From the secure entry process, COVID-19 protocols, ease of registering and filling out paperwork - it is clear that these folks understand that their patients are not just our fur babies but also the worried parents. They treated my dog Stark with love from the moment they greeted him, worked with me to keep his treatment protocol as extensive and complete as possible while staying within my budget as a cash patient. Diagnosis and treatment were completely explained and in a fashion that was easily understandable to a lay person. My boy is feeling much better and is on a path to recovery.

They took such good comprehensive care of my pug with breathing issues. Provided excellent care and when he was in overnight care the doctor called me before her shift ended just to tell me he was still doing ok. I also emailed them after his care and they took the time to call me back and give me more advice on home care which i appreciate endlessly. My dog is my baby and they took the care and treatment of him incredibly seriously and took care of him by loving on him when he was in their care. He is not in the clear yet but I so appreciate how communicative everyone here was. Thank you so so so much!

The amazing reviews were what drew me here when my cat had an emergency , and now I can see why! Top-notch service all-around and the prices were less than my regular vet. Dr Li was amazing and covered all possible angles when considering the proper treatment path to go down. I like that she literally considered every possible option and asked throughly dig into his history. They seemed well-staffed so very late at night, and every staff member was incredibly easy to talk to and professional. I will go back in a heartbeat if I ever need emergency care again for any of my pets, even though I waited 4 hours to be seen. They’re that good.

This place is amazing! They took our yellow lab all the way from Reno for a specialized emergency procedure. The staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. We had to leave our dog for about two days with them. Happy to report almost two weeks post-surgery and the dog is doing great! All thanks to the OakVet team! I cannot recommend this facility and staff highly enough! Your pet is in great hands with this incredible team!

Our cat needed immediate attention and our regular vet recommended OakVet. We were very pleased with the service from OakVet. As soon as we drove up, staff was there and immediately began evaluating the cat. They told us what would happen next and while we completed the obligatory paperwork, they began treating the cat. They kept us informed during every stage of the process helping alleviate our worry and discussing the treatment plan with us. The staff was extremely professional throughout and the vet gave us clear instructions for post-visit care. Our cat is fine thanks to OakVet’s quick, thorough, compassionate and professional work. The folks at OakVet are wonderful and truly caring. I took my very sick kitty there after another vet missed his blocked urinary tract. The OakVet staff treated his illness with care and provided me with updates several times a day as he recovered. They even promised to give him kisses for me (not sure if they did it, but it made me feel better)! Fireball is back home and snoozing in my arms thanks to the loving care that he received at OakVet. I hope to never have to see them again, but if I have another sick pet, I’ll take them directly to OakVet.

Everyone was very kind and caring. I like that the ER is on the 1st floor and clinics are on the 2nd floor. My dog usually gets scared and would start shaking once he sees that he’s at the vet clinic. But not here. He was just calm. Dr Williams did a thorough explanation of what’s best for my 15 year old baby.

It was our first time here. Everyone was very friendly. I definitely will be coming back.I loved how they really cared about my Oliver. He has very bad anxiety and made sure I was able to stay with him to ease his anxiety.

This was our first time having to go into an ER for our dog Nova. From the start, service was great, we were very worried as she got attacked by a dog. She came out so happy and back to her normal self. They gave us updates as we waited to calm our nerves and ultimately they found that she was doing fine and asked us if we wanted to take her home or offered to keep monitoring her. Our visit was smooth and we left relieved of our concerns. I would come back to OakVet if we had to go back to the ER. The staff then called us for an update and to make sure she was still doing well. 10/10

OakVet’s staff and Dr. William are so nice and helpful. My dog has heart condition that has to do check up every 6 months. Dr. William always finish his EMR immediately after our visit so our primary doctor has it asap since I always schedule back to back check up appointment for him. I was skeptical to choose OakVet at the beginning because of the location but they are gated and you cannot come in without permission. Im glad I decided to choose OakVet.

Our dog had a very scary fall from a second story window last week. The doctors and staff were so great. They took such good care of our dog and of us humans as well. The reception staff was wonderful. They were so kind and compassionate when they knew how scared and worried we were. They called back to the staff caring for our dog without hesitation every time we asked for an update. They offered us snacks and drinks while we waited. The doctors we interacted with were also compassionate and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. They were willing to do extra xrays that I requested to rule out other possible injuries, without question. And, as a bonus, we even received a large refund on a portion of the estimate that was collected initially. While I hope and pray we never have to experience something like this again, I am so grateful for the doctors and staff and for the level of care and concern that we and our dog received at OakVet. I am happy to report that one week later, our dog, who is lucky to be alive, is healing and doing well. I would HIGHLY recommend OakVet to care for your fur babies.

I'm very rarely compelled to write public reviews, but OakVet deserves all the praise. My dog was recently diagnosed with a mast cell tumor, so I was referred to OakVet for her treatment. From the moment I called to make the appointment the staff (Heather) was so warm, patient, and full of empathy. When we arrived for our appointment, my dog was greeted with enthusiasm by the staff making her feel safe when she usually feels fearful/anxious at the vet. Dr. Kid was clear about her treatment options and made me feel empowered by the information he shared. I will be recommending them for years to come.
