I have mixed feelings about this place. On the one hand I stayed here for four months, I was a 'resident' and was very comfortable, it was secure and a good vibe, many long term residents. We were like a family. Then, in January and February they started ejecting all the long term residents, who had kept them above the water financially during Covid. Mostly no reasons were given, and those given were BS, by the owner Laia. She came out with such nonsense like she might have to close the places down because it was she said losing money because of Covid. It made no sense because the place was full! And it's Sri taking bookings, even long term! Little by little they kicked out something like 15-20 residents. They continue to take bookings even long term bookings, and it's still quite full. I guess Laia got greedy. I was told by someone who is still there that I'm the last few weeks since we all left and their new revolving door policy with guests that there have been three robberies already. I was there for 4 1/2 months and we never had a single robbery, we were a family and you could leave your stuff anywhere without worry. It was a good spot but Laia and her greed ruined it.

Clean and quite cheap hostel. There are lockers inside the rooms but they don't have locks, you should bring your own or buy it from them (it was 3 euros, as far as I remember). Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, they don't offer breakfast, even though it was written in the booking that it's included. They only offer coffee and tea.

Good hostel, clean, secure, there are some staff that speak English, there is tv in the common kitchen, music and fun inside, there is one patio near the kitchen with tables, I really liked it

Fantastic hostel! It was very cheap and for the price above average with its offers! Very nice and helpful staff, additional things like a towel and lock as well dinner and breakfast. Moreover, tours for the night and day was offered and the atmosphere was super pleasant. All in all a great experience and it made my trip to Madrid even nicer. Thanks a lot!!

Very friendly staff and very attentive. Bed are comfortable and the air con is great! Breakfast is typical, cereal, toast, coffee... It's all very good as well. It's only (max) 30 minutes walk away from the plaza, shopping and food 💕 Hostel One Madrid is very relaxing place and has a fun atmosphere.

As always, H1 is a great place to stay in every city. The staff was great, especially the girl with the super curly hair that checked me in and the South African guy who gave me the run down on the hostel and the city. Super close to some awesome restaurants and the main stuff to see. The beds are insanely soft, and the metal bunks are noisy and very low so you bump your head on the bottom, so that's the only thing to be aware of.

The hostel is in a nice and peculiar part of Madrid, far from the busy central areas but very well connected to the whole town! Dormitories, bathrooms and common spaces are kept perfectly and the staff is amazing! People working there always endorse a very social and fun environment where any guest can feel at home!

Fantastic place, fantastic people. The staff were incredibly warm, generous people who made me feel very much embraced despite the fact that I only stayed for a couple of nights. Definitely not a trip I'll forget any time soon. Oh, and the barbecue was fantastic!

Lots of people coming and going all the time rally nice fun staff . Really good location easy to get to easy to find it's a thirst hostel one that I stayed in so far but I think I will have a look at some more them in the future. The common room is an awesome place almost a bit too small. For so many people .much better then the first hostel we stayed in in Madrid but we'll worth the 5 euro s more a night every thing is new and very clean .

Rooms, bathrooms and amenities are clean and spacious, but there is so much more to that. The atmosphere in the hostel is awesome, you immediately feel among friends and the staff goes overboard to make your time in Madrid special. Also the Toledo tour with Gabi is a must!

Good place- I booked a private room. Room is tiny but gets the job done and is also conveniently located close to everything!

When I arrived, they offered me water, and gave me tons of recommendations for what to do in the city. Staff and volunteers are so friendly and the hostel offers events almost every night. Definitely one of the best atmospheres out of the hostels I’ve tried. Also, I stayed in a 4 bed dorm and the bed wasn’t a bunk bed!!!!!!! Huge win!!

The best hostel I have ever stayed in! The family dinners were amazing and the activities every day and night made it super easy to meet other travelers. Loved this hostel and can't wait to go back!!
