Established by the late Julio Cardinal Rosales y Ras D.D. on May 6, 1968. The only parish in the Archdiocese of Cebu with a titular patron of St. Martin de Porres. A population of more or less 25,000 baptized Roman Catholic who are active in participating church activities. The church enshrined the relic of the Apostle of Charity. The church celebrates there annual fiesta every 9th day of December ( St. Martin Birthday) however, they still commemorates the Death Anniversary of the saint on November 3.
