Superb Hotel with high quality restaurant. Just back from a weekend in Pirna visiting family and we stayed at the hotel. Check in was quick and no problems. The Restaurant was full and I would advise to book your table. The menu was only available in German,however not a problem the staff helped and we enjoyed a Superb meal, typical high quality. Didn't get an opportunity to try the Spar, how it did look nice from the reception. Our room was perfectly clean with a nice balcony. Some say the rooms are a little dated, but this is the style amd period of this hotel... Breakfast was perfect, everything you could wish for and plenty of fresh coffee. Really enjoyed our stay here and the management should be proud of the restaurant staff, both Breakfast amd evening meal, the staff were both friendly amd polite.

The hotel is very old, however the audience in the hotel is quite senior, so it is probably a match. Reception is very slow. To check out it takes forever. The restaurant is not recommended to visit. Food is simply bad. Every dish we ordered we could not finish as it was a weird combination of tastes that doesn’t go together. Like camembert cheese with a pineapple and pumpkin…

Good located Hotel, with good breakfast. During my stay, in the hotel was lot of guests, and parking was after 18:00 almost impossible. When I arrived in the room was so cold, the heaters could heat up the room only on next day. In shower I had hot water, but at sink I had only cold water. For these two reasons I rate with 4 stars.

Unfriendly staff, they don't know to smile, even worse in the restaurant, almost rude.

I really like this place. They are very friendly and kind, I recommend for a pleasant stay.
