This
is
a
nostalgic
fantasy.
It
shows
what
the
DDR
was
dreamed
to
be,
not
what
it
was
actually
like.
No
mention
of
anything
remotely
negative
or
even
basic
information
on
how
the
DDR
was
formed
and
how
it
ended,
it's
just
room
after
room
of
products
and
nothing
else.
Very
unrealistic
with
shops
overflowing
with
an
abundance
of
quite
luxurious
groceries,
everything
is
shiny
happy.
Coupled
with
the
mannequins
it
has
an
eery
surrealist
vibe
to
it.
It
even
has
a
room
showing
the
airplanes
that
according
to
the
signs
you
could
simply
take
to
go
to
Amsterdam
if
you
felt
like
it.
Ha.
It
also
feels
pretty
expensive
for
what
it
is
at
ten
euros.
The
one
thing
that
made
it
feel
a
bit
DDR
is
they
ask
you
up
front
if
you're
going
to
take
pictures
and
charge
an
extra
fee
for
it,
so
they
have
cameras
up
to
make
sure
you
are
not
taking
pictures
after
not
paying
the
extra
amount.
