Great owner. Located right in town. Pretty good place and set up. Even the hostel beds have their own curtains. A very relaxed chill vibe. When I was there, there were 2 families who were sleeping there and their kids were playing with each other, so very comfortable for just about anyone. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Konegstein.

Very nice stay. I was happy with the 6-bed "ladies only" room, with en-suite bathroom. Well equiped kitchen (with washing machine! so you can trust things to be clean), clean common areas. I liked the curtains on the beds, makes a cosy and private space. Every bed has it's own light and there are enough plugg for charging phones etc.

Stay was nice. Clean hostel and nice beds. The breakfast was a littlebit dissappointing though. For that price you may expect somewhat more veriety and a more generous coffee refill policy.

Barry is the nicest guy ever. He went out of his way to try to help me find transportation to my hiking spot. Public buses and the Kirnitzschalbahn tram had been cancelled due to a storm and flooding a couple days earlier. The dorm rooms, bathroom, toilet etc are extremely clean. Each dorm bed has it's own little curtain if you're big on privacy. They have lockers if you have your own lock, a nice clean kitchen and a lounge area where everyone can chill. Location is perfect. 9 mins from Königstein Sachs Schw train station and 5 mins from Rießeger Platz. I will definitely come back to stay here when I return to Saxon Swiss for more hiking in the future. Danke Barry!!

Great cozy little hostel! “Home” like feel. Full kitchen facilities. Owner was very nice. Only 4 guests including myself were staying there at the time, so not too much interaction (was there 1 night). Very clean, good shower facility in the female dorm. Linens cost 2.50€ (only for short term guests). No personal locks or keys to your dorm, but there were lockers available if needed. I felt very safe tho and no concern for theft or my safety. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location 5 min from Edeka, Königstein train station, restaurants, etc. Very clean and nicely stocked kitchen with communal supplies. Great value! We could leave our luggage at the hostel after check-out and pick up later in the day as well as use the toilet/shower--very friendly! Often the door was left open, and random people I was not sure were guests came in to ask for a bathroom.

I very warmly recommend the 4lions Hostel. I stayed in a single/double room for 5 nights. The place was very fresh and clean, the room was pleasantly decorated and there’s everything (!) you can possible need in the kitchen. Sven is a great host and the general atmosphere of the hostel is nice and relaxed. It’s situated very close to shopping possibilities, cafe’s, the railway station of Königstein and - more importantly in my case - the beautiful National Park of Saxon Switzerland and popular attractions as the Bastei Bridge. I’m definitely coming back.

Superb hostel and very friendly people. 5 min from edeka, train main station and local restaurant. Bed and pillow very comfortable. Thanks guys for having me. I stay one day there but next time am staying more. You have also fully equipment kitchen to cook.

We (a couple) stayed for 5 nights with our dog in a private room. Very well located. A good base point for hiking in the area, as it is a short walk away from the train station and buses. Edeka and ATM also short walking distance away. The facility is clean. The kitchen very well equipt. The host Sven was super friendly, helpful and available to answer questions. His little poodle Brunhilde only adds to the coziness of the place. The place is also involved in the important work of assisting refugees from the ukraine. Good value for money. Recommended!
