Don’t be fooled by the pizza in the name. This restaurant does Steak Florentine as well as any in the city. We ordered medium rare but with a piece of meat this big you get all the temperatures which is part of the allure. Just the right amount of salt and oil. Divine. I started with the tuna carpaccio which was good. My wife ordered the soup not realizing that ‘vegetable soup’ means ‘bread soup’ so we learned that! Great steak.

Absolutely fantastic dinner experience for my family. Definitely one of the best pizzas. The crust is divine, tomato sauce is fresh and smooth and cheese is perfect. Service was top notch! Wine and meat dishes were also delicious. Excellent restaurant we will go back for sure.

Wonderful Florence Dining Experience (not to be missed). My Florence friend recommended La Boheme for my first dinner in Florence. It was outstanding with an amazing menu( save rooms for desert), delicious pizza varieties, welcoming staff, understated, casual ambience, and filled with locals makes La Boheme a must!!

We decided to go to this restaurant because it was close to the hotel. What a great decision!! We made reservations because we didn't know if it will be busy, and it was. It was on Friday night. The staff was professional and helpful, and answered our questions patiently. We started with the cheese and meat board. Four excellent sliced sausages and two great cheeses, accompanied with honey and a tart berry jam. The waitress explained that they eat the cheese with honey, so we did too. It was a great combination. The honey fits perfectly with the hard cheese. Next we had cacio e pepe with crispy pork cheek. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicate but flavorful, and the crispy pork gave it a twist that made the dish amazing. Since we told the waitress that we will share the dish, it was already divided for us in the kitchen, so we each got the right amount of pasta and crispy pork. For the main course we had a burger and a pizza. The burger was mad expertly and you could taste the quality of the meat. It was served on a bun smeared with soft cheese, and with lettuce and radicchio. On the side we got potato wedges that were roasted with rosemary, and a dip made of some kind of cream cheese, mayonnaise, and pesto. Wow!! What a dip. Amazing pesto taste with a creamy texture of a light mayonnaise. The pizza we ordered was simple but amazing!! Salami and artichoke over an amazing pizza dough. Not many ingredients but they combined into something greater. We also had dessert. We ordered a pistachio lava cake. Great dessert!! The cake was a classic sponge cake with pistachio flavor, but the cream that was oozing out of it had a pure pistachio cream taste. I definitely recommend it. The total was 62€, including 3 glasses of wine, a bottle of sparkling water, and a coffee. In my opinion it was a good value for our money. A great restaurant, with great food, and friendly and helpful staff. Definitely a place to visit when in Florence.

A little place with amazing service . The food was a perfect and services was a 10. I came here reading the Trip advisor and was not surprised when people were praising this place. It lived up to our expectations and more.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic, thank you for a lovely meal! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I was sat where I could see all of the chefs and you could tell they took great pride in their freshly made food. It really helps that the menu isn’t extensive, because it enables them to make each dish at a very high standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone, and when I am back in Florence I will be going again!

During a visit to Florence we had a wonderful meal at La Boheme, which was just round the corner from our hotel. So much so that we went back the next night too! We'd booked in advance to be on the safe side and, although we were the first people to arrive, it wasn't long before the dining room filled up. For our dinner we decided to share a Steak Florentine - a grilled t-bone steak which is meant to be from a certain Italian breed of cow. Our waitress showed it to us before it was cooked. It looked the size of a small country. We'd asked for it medium rare but when it came out it was probably edging towards rare, which was fine by us. And what a steak it was too - melt-in-the-mouth but with a perfectly seasoned outside. Alongside this were served delicious fried potatoes and we ordered a side of spinach as well. We finished off with a coffee and a complementary Limoncello and waddled back to our hotel.

We came here for our first meal in Italy and couldn't have picked a better spot. The pizza was absolutely terrific, the selection of beers was great, and the staff were so friendly and really made us feel welcome. I am not a desert person but the Tiramisu that my partner got here was the best one we had when we were out here. So much more than Pizza on the menu that we didnt try, i am sure you cant go wrong!

Margharita pizza and bolognese. I wish I could give this place a 7 or 7.5/10, clean environment, friendly staff. Average food. Nothing that stood out of the ordinary, but decent. Nice atmosphere

We have been in many very good restaurants in Florence but La Boheme is definitely our favourite. All dishes we had were superb. The risotto is a must, la bifteca fiorentina another, the millefeuille as you never had it. And all decently priced. The atmosphere is really nice and welcoming, the owner and the staff genuinely attentive and happy to make your experience memorable.

We've enjoyed all dishes and the great recommended red wine.

Ok, 2 stars is kind of harsh. Really, the pizza and wine were quite nice. But everything else on the menu (especially the pasta) was nowhere close to the high standards that you should expect in Italy. You are reading these reviews because you care about finding great places to eat in Florence on your vacation, so this is a place you should simply avoid. Other reviews call out how easy it is to get a table without a reservation or a wait. This is not a good sign.

I ordered the pasta with seafood and it was the best pasta i’ve ever ate in my whole life!!!!!! My husband ordered pizza and said the same thing about it!
