Very impressed not only by the delicious food but the hospitality and the warm welcome we got from the owner and his staff! Very friendly to tourists & locals. Went above and beyond to help us with any questions we had. The owner even called the taxi place to help us book a ride for when we leave for the airport on Monday. The pasta we ordered was very good!! You must go here! can't recommend it enough!

We only had a few drinks here but the owner was very friendly and he even gave our dog some treats.

Amazing, amazing, amazing.... one of those places you don't want to tell anyone about because it is so good you want to keep it to yourself. The owner is amazing and the atmosphere is so truely Italian. The food was way too much but every mouthful was like heaven... Treat yourself to a slice of Florentine heaven and go here to eat... just don't tell anyone else!!!

Awesome Food. We had the mixed plate of crostinis and the grilled plate for two persons - which was almost too much. Nevertheless the food was excellenct. Beautifully grilled to medium rare. Awesome taste of open fire, since they use a charocal grill. I would give 4.5 Stars. Since the water bottle costs 2€ and the salad which was served to the grill plate costs 4€. Worth it and delicious, but it wasn‘t written anywhere. Overall definitely a nice location and highly recommended.

Wonderful and relaxing dinner, with good house wine and variety of dishes to choose from. Very helpful staff, with a bit of local attitude, and help you enjoy the night. Prices on last with places and, Definitely recommend!

The best meal in Florence. Immediately you smell the wood fired smoking meats! The boar tagliatelle is the best here. We returned twice on our trip. Highly recommended.

Great local neighborhood spot. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. My wife and I met a couple sitting next to us in the communal table who live in the neighborhood. They told us they frequent the place, and even shared some of their Florentine steak. It was a great experience meeting and talking with them during dinner. The servers are brothers, at least some of them, I believe. The servers were very congenial, they liked to joke, spoke enough English to communicate with them. We had a great experience overall. They have a little pet dog near the front door which adds to the charm of the place. He just lies on his bed most of the time and watches people come and go. I highly recommend to visit them.

Wondered into this nice little restaurant for a quick bite. Great food and even better hospitality. The host Simone was welcoming and engaging.

A family atmosphere immediately off a charming park. Tonight I am the only non Italian speaker, I don't think they even have an English menu. The food was excellent and the service quick. The staff outside were attentive and kissing babies and talking trash with locals about 'the football' I'm pretty happy I came and I look forward to coming back. I wish they had draft beer but they have this Menabrea as their only beer and the server told me I didnt have to pay for it if it wasn't better than anything I can get in Germany. I paid for that beer. I look forward to bringing back my 3 year old daughter when I next come. I think it's a great place to take kids and then you can run them out at the park in the middle if they're being jerks. Lastly there's this sharing meat plate for like 35 euros and it's sausage, pork loin, a steak and chicken cooked under a brick. I gasped when I saw it. I'm coming back for you meat plate. I'm coming back. Really in closing - there's a sorbetteria next door. Ok I'm really done. A 3 euro cover seems excessive.

Delicious. The service is very good, the people are nice and the food are delicious. It’s a good option if you want to eat different from pasta dishes even though they also have them.

Nice experience the food was delicious. However, there was a breakdown in communication we ordered the Firenze steak which was fantastic, we were charged for 4 not 2. Also, the space is opened and there is a small dog who is part of the atmosphere, very cute. At one point one of the workers struck the dog very disturbing, we brought it to the attention of the waiter he blew it off.

A friend who lives in Florence had recommended this place to us. Between two people we shared mixed crostone (yummy!) a bottle of Sangiovese, 1.3 kg of bistecca alla fiorentina (best meat in Florence!) with 2 sides, the potatoes were extra delicious. The quality of all the ingredients was top notch, the service was fabulous and friendly and we had a superb evening here. If we hadnt been so full from the dinner I'd have tried dessert but coffee was also a good choice, they serve it in a mocca 💚

WORDS CAN'T DESCRIBE THIS PLACE. The experience, the quality, the service, the atmosphere, they went above and beyond too create a traditional experience of dishes for my wife and I. We've had numerous high end steaks and the Florentine steak is by far the best steak I have ever had in my entire life. EVERYONE should come here if you want too eat at the best restaurant in Italy!

We dined here twice during our recent holiday. The food was delicious, highly recommend the Pappardelle in wild boar ragu and the bistecca alla Fiorentina, washed down with one of their many good bottles of Chianti Classico. Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff in a relaxed, quiet corner of the city. Perfect.

Had enough pasta and pizza, go here for a great change of pace. Ribs,steak, sausage and chicken grilled to perfection. Oltarno area is great not so busy, after the meal the best gelato shop is by the river. LaCarraia.

Once we found this place, it was the only place we would eat. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Wish we had found it sooner! Make reservations! The chicken salad was my favorite. Yummmmm
