On the trip road with our motorcycles company of four friends, seven days through the Tuscany region we had a wonderful surprise when we came to Agriturismo Montagna Verde Apella. We can't choose words to convey service, food, courtesy and generous approach to us as guests in a beautiful natural environment you feel like you are alone despite the fullness of the restaurant. Excellent quality food, very friendly service all set in nice surroundings. Very fairly priced. 5/5 will eat there again.

Very nice, semi-remote agriturismo- rooms were clean and comfortable, food for breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant service was great. One quibble with the restaurant- rather than having a printed menu- the server recites the day's choices and you get to ask questions about the main courses. I found this off-putting. I'd rather have a chance to look over the choices, discuss the options with my companions, then ask whatever questions I have when the server returns. Also, rooms are in two locations- the main building houses the restaurant, and the other rooms are up the road a short way, but within walking distance. The alternate location has a pool and a warren of rooms, and we found it very comfortable and quiet. There's also good access to a network of hiking trails.

I would seriously give this place a 5+ if possible! Everything we had from the appetizers, to the pasta, to the meat dishes and to the dessert was delicious. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Can't have a more sumptuous feast with wine for a mere €25 per person.

I have travelled a lot of places but it is not often I see such amazing quality. The story of how this place is restored and developed is amazing. The Maffei family have such amazing staff that deliver care and attention and passion throughout your stay from greeting you as you arrive to their exquisite traditional taster menus. (The best flavours and the best value we had on our 7 day trip). I can not recommend this place more. It's also in a gorgeous location for scenery. (I'll post a more thorough review on trip advisor)

Spent the most beautiful time in Apella which was accompanied by the best service we have ever experienced. The staff were incredibly welcoming and provided many gluten free options to cater for my allergies. The accomodation had everything you needed to feel comfortable. We spent ample time exploring this magical village, it’s history, museum and the pool. So many wonderful facilities that were very well kept and hygienic. Definitely coming back here forever!!!!
