Such a pleasurable experience, home away from home feels The ladies that work/run this delightful establishment made me and my partner very welcome. We were assisted and advised with great recommendations of what to order. We ate fantastic traditional Italian food A wonderful family welcoming feel with every customer that entered. We felt the lady who was cooking and serving behind the counter was extremely warm and friendly who made the whole experience even more fantastic as her presence lit up the room for all ❤️ We had a 3 course lunch with wine and coffee and felt the price matched the quality x

We had a great lunch in La Bottega, first of all very friendly abd enthusiastic service with a well appreciated level of English that helped to understand all dishes clearly. Then the food, limited offers which we like, you get fresh, simple and authentic Toscan cuisine, very nice! We had meat and pasta dishes after the focaccia that was offered and a few local toasts so we were pretty full, next time we may try some of the desserts. The place is pretty small but this makes it very cosy. A nice experience in Florence.

We headed across the river from the center of Florence to check out La Bottega di Via Maggio for dinner one night. It's definitely off the beaten path from the crowds in the center of town and there weren't that many people in it at all. We found a sweet spot that was only a couple of minutes from the river with a staff that went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We only got a cheese plate and some wine so I'm not sure we took full advantage of their offerings, but the cheese was good and the wine accompanied it nicely. We also liked the bread they served it with, drizzled a bit with olive oil already and more focaccia style. The real star was the staff who, despite the fact that it was almost empty, and that we weren't ordering that much, just made sure we were happy...they were very friendly and seemed just happy to not only be working there, but to be serving us. Also, as vegetarians, we especially appreciated that they had an allergen menu that listed ingredients which were in their dishes and are quite confident anyone with almost any diet could get a good meal here. If you're looking for a quiet vibe, away from the crowds, in a much less trafficked neighborhood, but still super close to the center of town once you cross the river, this may be the place for you!

Awesome hidden gem! Wish I would have gotten pictures of my food. Everything was fresh and delicious. The menu has many delicious options. Service is top. Was offered a glass of Prosecco while I waited for my friends. Their wine list is perfection, many nice ones offered. The cozy and friendly atmosphere inside makes it the perfect spot to enjoy a great meal and great company. Highly recommended!!

Authentic ambience and dishes. Fantastic friendly service. We got the lasagna and I built my own vegan salad each for 14 Euros which is reasonable for the area. Both dishes very flavorful. Lots of the ingredients are viewable so you know what to expect.

Cute and delicious place! Ran by a husband and wife team who know what they are doing! Everything is homemade and delicious. Best panzanella salad!

Absolutely amazing. I’ve been travelling in Italy for 3 weeks and hands down best service, best food. If you are here on the weekend to try the tiramisu. I almost cried having it. The best I’ve ever had and I’ve had my fair share. 12/10.

We loved the gnocchi and the tortellini. They were great. The chocolate torte was not as sweet as we hoped so we were disappointed. The meat and potatoes were decent but you should expect very finely shaved meat. We also got some sort of pasta with boar’s meat, which was mid. I would recommend coming for the pasta

It is an amazingly cozy local trattoria. The food was delicious. The service was top. I suggest this place for a good dinner.

We tasted some authentic Tuscan food in a very cosy atmosphere. The food was very tasty and the staff honest and friendly. We ate schiacciata with finocchiona salame, ribollita, and ravioli (plus torta della nonna and cantucci for dessert) Highly Recommended!!
