Over the years I’ve done a lot of wineries and wine tasting experiences. I have to say that this is by far the very best and most incredible experience on so many levels. First of all, you can’t beat the setting. It’s has the most incredible view and is in a glorious position in Tuscany. Secondly, the host Donato shared so much knowledge and history in such an engaging way. There were 16 of us, and we all learnt so many new things about the way to hold a glass and experience the wine. Best of all, the wine AND olive oil was actually excellent. They also have accomodation on site.

This was one of the most amazing places I visited in Italy. The scenery was beautiful but Donato took it to an entire different level. You could tell he was so passionate about the wine and olive oil there and has amazing ideas for it for the future. Couldn’t recommend it enough. The wine was just as fantastic as everything else there. The olive oil was great too.

Everything is amazing! Donato is very knowledgeable and passionate about the the wine and the region. He also speaks excellent English if you don’t know Italian. The setting is beautiful and the wine and olive oil is delicious! I would highly recommend Villa il Pozzo for an unforgettable experience.

We were on a trip in Tuscany and stumbled upon this absolute gem. My partner and I are both very keen on hospitality since we both worked in events. Donato surpassed our expectations of hospitality and delivered true HOSTMANSCHIP! We have never been so impressed with a winetasting ever before. This is worth every euro and is underpriced for the service Donato delivers. His enthousiasm and passion resonates so much we got inspired ourselves. This place deserves so much more recognition! The wine/evoo tasting at Villa Il Pozzo was a highlight of our honeymoon. Donato was so passionate and knowledgeable about each wine and the wine making process. Not only was the wine and olive oil delicious, but the view was spectacular! We highly recommend for anyone visiting this region.

We had our wine tasting with Donato and absolutely loved it. He is so passionate and ambitious about what he does, explains a lot and has a lot of expertise. We also loved the privacy of the tasting as it was only the two of us. The production of Villa il Pozzo is quite small, they focuse on quality and not quantity what you can definitely taste in their wines and olive oils. We organised Wine Tasting with Donato as a welcome event for all of our wedding guests and I cannot express how incredible this was. Donato is one of the kindest men I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and his passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for wine is inspiring. He captured the attention of all 70 guests for over two hours. We learnt a great deal and it was a classy, authentic and perfect way to start our wedding weekend.
