This place was so unpleasant that we strongly considered eating the cost of the room and going somewhere else for the night, and this is coming from someone who is very familiar with cheap hotels. The door had one flimsy lock on the knob similar to what you might have on your bathroom door at home, no dead bolt or anything, which made me feel very unsafe. The entire room was dirty, reeked of smoke and looked NOTHING like the pictures! Definitely false advertising.

I had to go to Pittsburgh to visit my daughter at school. I needed the cheapest hotel possible, and boy did I find it. $97 covered 2 notes. I took pix of everything I could to help others make a informed decision. The trashcan was a broken styrofoam cooler with large black a ts all over the place see the pic of towels? That was our fresh towels.see the showerhead. The food in fridge, was there when we checked in. The single pane window is called and the parking lot is huge potholes. I used a baggie to keep remote in. I took all my own sheets, pillows, towels. The bathroom is so bad, we didnt use it the 2 days we were there. If u look out back window you'll realize youte6literally on a cliff. No joke. It's a 10x10 shes of a room. They all are. If you have children, DO NOT STAY HERE. I could go on & on. But take my word for it, you DO NOT want to stay here. Unless you renting for hour or 2, doing drugs I strongly suggest you to trust me. It was THE WORSE place I've ever stayed at. Never again.

And it's obvious from methe look of the place the rooms aren't great which is cool it's cheap but what's not cool is the lady that works there really knocked on my door at 10am and told me to give her my key it was time to leave bc she thought she heard a dog? And she said I had A DOG hair on me i urged her to search the room she said no and told me again to leave

It was okay until you run out of money and can't pay and don't have no place to go and then they kick you out.... Would never come back to this motel ever again and would never recommend anyone to stay here neither.... rude employees and not nice... kept getting bothered by the one employee who kept knocking on our door and is now kicking us out... very rude.... not professional business like manners here... WARNING!!!!!! NEVER STAY AT HILAND TERRACE! WORST PLACE TO STAY.

Decent motel for the price. I didn't encounter any bugs(and i search) and the guy that runs the place keeps up on cleaning the rooms. Their older in style and a little run down but clean is the impt part. My little fridge never worked but it was winter so I just kept my food outside in a milk crate on top of my truck. I would have liked to have a more secure door for my weeks long long term stay but I had no issue with anything going missing. For the weekly price I paid I wasn't expecting the hilton and if I needed to do so again I would return. I was content enough to stay 3 weeks. The guy that runs the place was also very helpful even helped when my car was frozen shut.

I believe if the price was $250 a week and they gave you $500 in return it still wouldn't be worth this filthy place. No Stars!

For the price and the amazing view when you walk out the door, couldn't really ask for more. The fella in the office answered some of my questions of the area and even had no issue with me parking my bobtail in front of my room. Sure the place is a little older in appearance, both inside and outside, but for the price you shouldn't expect a "Hampton inn and suites" appearance. However my only requests of the place is maybe a deadbolt for the room door and that the "ditch" like pothole between the parking lot and the road gets fixed. Other than that, quite well liked my stay.

Needs better tv's they're way to old , the room was clean and the bed covers was also. The bathroom floor had a dent in it tub was a little dirty had to clean it smelt like cigarettes Windows need fixed up also ...just upgrade everything

The outside looks a bit rugged and older, but the rooms were clean and taken care of. While the room did seem a bit older, my only complaint was that the shower seemed a little dirty. But for an overnight stay, you can't beat the price or the area

I called for a room, The lady hung up on me. rudeness would be an understatement! I ended up driving there.... save you the hassle incompetent foreigners with the intent to scam. Be aware!!!!!
