Scheduled a video visit for this location today, my son had been on 2 different antibiotics for ear infections in the past month. He now has white spots all through his mouth. He has had Thrush as an infant so I know what it looks like. Heā€™s 17 months old and his dr has some concerns for autism so heā€™s not the most cooperative little guy. I thought since Heā€™s had it before in his chart that she would take my word for it and just prescribe something until we can get into pcp to relive some pain in his mouth so he can eat well. She decided from a ā€œFaceTimeā€ where she couldnā€™t even see in his mouth that thereā€™s nothing in his mouth and that I need to go in tomorrow when theyā€™re open for in office visits and she doesnā€™t think he has thrush. Very irritated. Why would I call if I saw nothing In His mouth? Also had both my kids here about a month and a half ago for very bad cold symptoms and my son had been wheezing. She ruled out he was fine. He was having chest retractions the next day so I took him into ER and he ended up having 2 ear infections, and that DR didnā€™t notice that a day ago? Completely worthless practice and wonā€™t take my kids there again. Iā€™ll always just wait for pediatrician unless itā€™s an absolute emergency and then will just take to childrens hospital.

I recommend this place when your children are sick . I made an appointment online and they text you when you have to enter and in the waiting room I only waited like 8 minutes! The nurse & the doctor were really patient with my daughter when she needed the strep test done and as a toddler that was rough ! We were out in less than in an hour. I recommend making an appointment because that way you arenā€™t in the waiting room with all those germs for so long !

I brought my 11 month old in Monday evening, around 7:30. The doctors checked her out, without even testing her said she had RSV ( literally diagnosed her off the sound of her cough ) and said she may have asthma, so they sent me home with a nebulizer and told me to use it every four hours which I did do. This morning around 10 oā€™clock. I called an ambulance for my baby because she was having a difficult time breathing when we got to Childrens hospital in Lawrenceville. We sat in the waiting room for almost 5 hours to find out that my Baby did not have RSV She had Covid. I sent my older kids to the school today thinking that it was RSV that my baby had, both of which children were exposed to my 11 month old so they were exposed to Covid. And I sent them to school so now Iā€™ve exposed the entire school to Covid because this facility couldnā€™t even so much as test my baby for Covid or RSV Just misdiagnosed her off the sounding of her cough, they also said that her lungs sounded a little bit harsh, whereas Childrenā€™s Hospital told me that her lung sounded perfectly clear so my daughter was receiving medication through this nebulizer that she didnā€™t even need. Iā€™m highly upset and highly disappointed.

Im giving 3 stars strictly because of doctor shuhart. The nurses were phenomenal the wait time was short and we were in and our, my daughter had a double eye infection and ear infection- we were there for 45 minutes tops.! But the doctor was extremely inappropriate my daughter is 9 (just turned 9 a week ago) and ahe expressed her concerns to the dr as to whats wrong and he asked her ā€œso which one of ur boyfriends got u sick?ā€ She looked at him like he had 3 heads naturally and he responded ā€œoh u must not know which one) my daughter left feeling extremely uncomfortable.! This line of questioning to any patient let alone a NINE year old is unacceptable and i will be contacting UPMC to forge a formal complaint

My daughter frequents here. Some of the drs are absolutely amazing!! Nurses are always super kind and friendly. One of them even recognizes us and always makes conversation. But there is one dr in particular who doesnā€™t take patients concerns seriously and gives attitude. It honestly is luck of the draw on who will be there and how your situation will be handled. The wait time is sometimes long, but nothing you wouldnā€™t expect. Never really bothers me much personally. However my biggest concern is what I walked in the room to in our latest visit. There was a literal PEANUT on the floor!! Luckily my daughter and I both have no allergies, but this was highly concerning to me for those who do have one. Granted this is the only time iā€™ve noticed something like this. But was very disappointed to see it.

It took 2 hours to be seen despite there only being a 30 minute wait because the lady on the phone at the front desk didn't want to register us. So it told us we'd be seen in the app in 1 hour. That turned into an hour and a half. Then when I asked why we got kicked out of the queue online, it took another 30 minutes despite him being moved up the list. After I said something about being sent to the app, the next person who came in without an appointment was registered at the desk and not sent through the app. Other than that he was seen quickly, but then had to wait 15 minutes for for an excuse to be printed. I had to flag someone down for it because it was taking so long.

Waste of time and money. No medical help given on our weekend visit and the advice was to wait to see our pediatrician (although, I thought a big point of the facility was to provide medical help when the concern is urgent and it's outside of the pediatrician's hours). One doctor, Dr. Sandra Mcrandal, was literally exiting the exam room as I was trying to ask questions and get her help for our baby. Overall useless and disappointing experience. Update... the UPMC owner had replied to my review with a link of a survey to complete in order to get assistance. I followed the link, did the survey, received an auto email "you'll hear from us," and I have never once been contacted or received follow up about this experience and the incredible oversights that occurred by the medical staff as I sought care for my baby. Incredibly disappointed!

Despite being slammed with Covid tests and a full waiting room, the staff couldn't have been more courteous and helpful. Yes there was a bit of a wait but they tried their absolute best to maintain timing and efficiency. Would highly recommend and please mask up and be patient with them bc they are very caring for the kids coming in.
