A nice park, well-maintained, in a great east suburban borough. Home to the FH Community Day festivities, kid's soccer leagues, basketball courts, and lots of fun!

My dog loves this place! Completely gated in large, separately fenced areas for small dogs and big dogs. They provide environmentally friendly doggy-doo bags, and place to dispose of waste. Very clean. Lots of hiking areas in the immediate vicinity. Benches available for sitting. Parking is close.

PARENTS / LADIES BEWARE! Creepy guy lurking around! Been here twice. At first, it looks like a nice little spot. No clue about the dog aspects. Not a dog person. Good parking area. From a distance, the playground looks nice. I just came here to rest after a long drive and to remain nearby to continue my route after a rest. The place seems well maintained all but the restroom. It's covered in the typical tags, spray paint vandalism, and gang signs. All seems well enough. But here is the reason for the low rating: There's this guy who parks in the handicapped spot, in a dirty and beat-up blue car. First time I was here, he came up tapping on my windows and whispering really quietly. Asking all kinds of stuff that was none of his business. Then just smacks his lips a few times and walks off, but continued to stare. Really REALLY creepy!! I'm a guy and can hold my own, but this guy really gave me the willies! I left right away. Today, 2 months later, I figured that was a one time thing. So I came back after my morning route. I see that blue car. Again in the handicapped spot. As I'm walking back from the restroom, he jumps out of his car and stares me down like he wants to rob me. NOPE!!! Not coming back here!

My grandson had a blast. They have an area for big kids and another area for little kids. Bathroom wasn't too bad. You really should go, it's nice 🙂

Unclosed drain In basketball court area, just big enough for my 3 years olds leg to fall in. The playground tunnel could use a cleaning. Many bugs due to the trees or just a bad day at the park. Pros and cons.

Great place for the kids. Our range in age from 3-11 years old. There was something for everyone.

Dog park split into 2 fenced locations for large and small dogs. Really convenient location and Sweet layout. The trees are old, the view is nice, solid little community park.
