Soooo…. I recently had to have foot surgery. And the only thing that’s been making me happy is trying different places around the city! I’ve been using my down time to try hidden gems I wouldn’t normally be close to. This bakery was so good we ended up stopping in twice in one day. Tried the donuts, the chocolate chip cookies and a carrot cake cupcake. Everything was great. The staff in the morning as well as the afternoon were both pleasant and friendly. Cute little bakery. Very nostalgic to be inside.

Super excited to try Stoecklein's, when we recently moved to Verona. I've since visited four times, but won't likely won't return. It's not because of the baked goods. We've had the donuts, sticky buns, bread and rolls and they're all pretty good. The pricing is good too, and the menu options are fine. We also really like supporting local business over restaurant chains. Our "less than" review is because of the customer service. I've had one great exchange (with an older person), but the other three times the person behind the counter behaves as if they're doing me the favor in helping me make my purchase (a younger person); to the point of rudeness (no eye contact, one word and abrasive responses, and general lack of courtesy). The first time I thought maybe they were shy or just had a bad day, but after the second and third times after a month of trying? ... The best I can think of is that perhaps they're always having a bad day? At any rate, life is short and smiles are free. I'd rather shop elsewhere for donuts, and bread, rather than get an extra helping of ill will with my confections.

Small family owned bakery where everything is made from scratch. I tried the red velvet cake, eclair, chocolate brownie, and peanut butter brownie. It was a pretty good value for the amount you get. I keep comparing this place to Oakmont Bakery since it's quite close. Definitely a much smaller selection, but I saved $5 on the cake. Didn't save much in the pastries. They have a half off section that I recommend you take advantage of. The quality is great there as well. The cake wasn't a big hit. The icing is very sweet, the filling doesn't taste very cream cheese like, and the batter was quite flavorless. Some else called it "plasticy." Eclair was a good size and the filling was great. Filled well, good flavor, icing is perfect. Recommend getting that. Brownies were okay. Didn't have much flavor. While I typically enjoy peanut butter, I preferred the regular to the PB brownie. Didn't have a string flavor but both were fudgey. Overall, I'd still return here from time to time just to try the Napoleon, pies, pepperoni rolls, pineapple upside down cake, donuts, and other goods. However, my go to bakery is still Oakmont.

Too much frosting, It's not even that good. if you want good treats, go to Moio's not too far away. Rude lady said I should get off my phone was I asking my children what they want.

Everything was well made. The carrot cake was more of a spice cake. The icing on the black and white cookie was still soft.

I come here for the sticky buns (and doughnuts). Absolutely love them❤️ Also asked them for a special order cake for my husband's birthday, and they did an awesome job! I gave them a photo, which they printed onto the cake, and did the decorating exactly as I asked. They are my go to bakery!

This bakery has the best donuts I've ever eaten. My whole family loves them. In my opinion they beat out Oakmont bakery's donuts hands down! ❤️

Stopped in for coffee & donuts bc I was working nearby - The ladies were all very helpful & cheery, & patient as it was my first visit. Donuts were delicious, & I even got a doggy safe cupcake to being home for my pup! Would definitely stop back if I'm ever in the area!

Love this bakery! Great donuts (get the Apple fritter), super creative cakes for birthdays etc, pizza by the slice, breakfast sandwiches, gluten free pastries available too.

Pastries are always fresh. Prices have gotten alittle more expensive like everything else. Otherwise, it's a nice bakery.

Stopped to look at a job. The smell of fresh baked goods caught my attention. Had a few gobs and a chocolate cake that was great. The ladies behind the counter were so nice and helpful.

The doughnuts were good, but the staff seemed to have an attitude about mask wearers. Get over it, people.
