The B-Y Access - Westmoreland Heritage Trail was perfect for an 18-mile bicycle ride! Trees and flowers are beginning to bloom! The cherry trees at the end of the trail in Export are in full bloom and attracting honey bees! The trail itself is dry and well maintained. It’s always scenic! Many were out to fish, walk, bike, jog under a crystal blue sky!

Parking is limited but this section of the Heritage trail is one of my favorites. It gets busy on the weekends already early in the morning. The stretch between B-Y park and Saunders Station is very pretty and there is a nest of a Bald eagle that can sometimes be spotted flying around the area. Perfect for walks or runs; there are a lot of cyclists too so you'll always have to pay attention to them.

Had a lovely long walk followed by a treat from the creamery.

The park itself is beautiful. The geese are serious pests. They will come right up to your pavilion, and take over. They can be aggressive without being provoked, especially if there is food.

It's a great trail for biking or walking. Runs alongside Turtle creek. Reasonable amount of parking spots are marked with a bike symbol and available for trail users.

I've visited several times only to go onto the bike trail. The park is small but quaint, you can fish in the lake (license of course) and there are nice pavilions. Close and convenient Highly Recommended park.

Very nice park with a decent size pond. There is access to the Westmoreland heritage trail here, but it's basically the end/beginning of the trail just beyond the park so if you're looking for a longer walk, just head the other way!
