We were looking at Pandora and he was so sweet and patient with are requests and styles we wanted to see for each of us. An upscale establishment of fine jewelery. Me, a low brow, blue collar guy who needed two watches to be serviced. Not a good match by way of the attitude of the store towards me. Everyone was friendly and helpful and my ring was repaired perfectly. When we dropped off the ring, it was close to closing time, but the lady was happy to accommodate us. I recently went to Gala Jewelers in White Oak to return a ring that was given to me as a Christmas present. Though it was an absolutely beautiful piece of jewelry, it was the wrong size and per personal taste and preference, I do not wear lab created gems. I thought I might exchange it for a colored stone. The store is on the small side but is very nice. There is a variety of items for most budgets but I thought most things were priced too high. The lady who returned my item and tried to help me find something else to my liking was a very sweet, kind professional lady who was very helpful and patient. They had many beautiful rings, mostly very expensive diamond ones. I wasn't looking for a diamond ring and quickly realized that the choices I had were extremely limited. I even looked at diamond solitaire necklaces and they had some very nice selections I thought the price was crazy high. This store is in the middle of a strip mall in White Oak and is very conveniently located. There is free parking and handicap accessible parking. Though this store is handicapped accessible, one using a wheelchair may find it difficult to maneuver the layout. I am not sure if there is a public restroom. It is fine to have children or a child accompany you, though if given a choice it may be a better experience to go it alone or with a friend. I would recommend Gala Jewelers for someone who is looking for a diamond/engagement ring or maybe a nice watch or pair of earrings. The staff is quite capable and eager to offer their assistance.

Took my 12 year old diamond anniversary ring in to see about having it repaired and the sales woman, Jeanne was very honest about what needed to be done with my ring in order to preserve it. Told me she would call me in a few days with an estimate and she did. Then she called me on the date that it was promised to me to be done. Forgot to mention that my hubby did not purchase my ring at Gala Jewelers, he bought it at the mall at a store that is long gone now. Went in to pick-up my ring and had a great conversation with Dana and Jeanne while picking up my ring and getting my other rings shined up! Love the kind and courteous staff there. I went to Gala because I shop there for other jewelry and I trust them. Shop local, they are great! See you in a few months to have my rings checked!
