Worship place. Maintained nicely. You have to climb hill 3 to 4 Km Approx to reach the Temple. No facility of Horse etc. to reach Temple. Located Approx. 10 Km away from pithoragarh bus stand. Suggestions: 1. Visit only those who are fully fit to climb hill. 2. One more Important thing that "The local people there believe that you should not eat non-veg till 7 days before going there"

This is a very famous temple of devi mata, nearby Pithoragarh city. Trekking is only way to reach this temple. You can travel by 4/2 wheeler upto 'lakchhairr'.then you have to climb step by step. Very narrow steps. It's full of adventure to do trekking here. Don't try so fast, walk slowly but don't stop during trekking, otherwise you 'll Very difficult to continue, rest of journey. First you will find lord Shiva temple. After that you have to climb more steps then you 'll reach Dhwaj temple. Here you may See floating clouds below you. You may See 'Dharchula', Munsiyari, Pithoragarh, if visibility is good. A Very beautiful himalya looks Awsome. Best time to visit is during summer, avoid visit during non rainy season.

The dhwaj temple is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Jayanti. It is located near Pithoragarh and is perched at an elevation of 2100 meters above sea level. The location was good and peaceful The temple is easily accessible as it is approx 10 km by road Pithoragarh. Try to wear shoes or a comfortable sleeper when you go there because there is a walk-in so it is difficult for kids and the elderly. Carry a water bottle or some refreshments

This is the place I belongs to, this is the highest peak in Pithoragad captured by breath taking views, basically it's a Hindu temple and highly considered by the local Hindu community but everyone can come and visit. You can have a closer look of the beautifull Himalayan range as the place is highest in the region, weather is just way more lovely than wonderfull, the peoples are very welcoming, the food, and fresh air, everything you could imagin for yourself is here. In short heaven on 🌎❀️
