Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway

Theme park Amusement park ride

👍👍 One of the cutest Disney attractions ever built in my opinion. The line for this attraction is beautiful full of tons of details from many Mickey Mouse shorts and things from his past. Overall the ride is perfect for the entire family. If your a Mickey Mouse fan this attraction is definitely not to... People often mention ride, Mickey, Disney, attraction, queue,

One of the newest rides at Disneyland and the decor and art is top notch and feels like you're in the tv show. The carts offer a surprising amount of lateral movement that shakes you left and right. Coordinated dance with the other carts in your group as part of a shared experience.

MMRR became my favorite attraction. The queue for this ride is so amazing, that if the wait time is over 45 minutes, time will go by faster than you know it. Why? because all the details that you see while in the queue are so cool to see. Luckily, when my husband and I went, it was literally a walk on, but we took time to look at all the details in the queue and we were in awe. Just being in the queue is worth waiting to ride the actual ride! This attraction is good for all ages and your little ones will love it because all the adults I know, loved it and so did I!

My husband and decided to check out Mickey and Minnie's Runaway railway in Toontown. I had read so much about the theatrical hoopla they give Mickey in the preshow area that I wanted to check it out for myself. For this reason we decided not to invest in individual purchase lightning lane so we could cool off and take everything in. I really loved the movie parody billboards of classic Disney movies and some of Mickey's outstanding roles. Sure we may remember him as the Sorceror's apprentice and Steamboat Willie but he was also in "the prince and the pauper." So much to see in this area. Course the best set up was the concession stand in the middle. Try if you can to take it all in-sort of hard when you have to move through a line. Still it is worth getting pictures of. The movie's theme is Mickey and Minnie in "A perfect picnic." The picnic turns out to be anything but perfect when Goofy rams into them during the preshow and he asks you to become part of the cartoon itself. You are then directed to the boarding area that is run by a train engine. The cars you ride in are trackless and again you are led by engineer Goofy as he meets up with Mickey and Minnie enroute to their picnic. Meanwhile the famous couple is stopped at a RR crossing but then appear in scene after scene such as the wild west and an amusement park as your trackless vehicle continues its journey. You are caught up in a "twister" from "the Band concert" that throws you and your cartoon friends into a tropical paradise. More misadventures await as you travel from scene to scene. One of my favorite parts was seeing Daisy Duck lead you into a whirlwind ballet class that your trackless car dances in synchronazition and end up doing a conga. All in all you have a happy ending with Mickey singing "nothing can stop us now." It's truly a whirlwind of delights and adventure as your trackless car goes every which way.

This is an incredible modern ride well worth the wait. The line leading into the event is loaded with things to see and are an experience by themselves.

This fantastic ride features Mickey and Minnie for the first time in Disney Park history! It's entertaining from the movie themed colorful rooms in the queue through the immersive ride along with Mickey and Minnie as their joyous car ride gets swept up into an out of control whirlwind railway! Although this new ride can have a long line, it has a lightning lane available through Genie+, or shorter lines in the evenings.

One of the best attractions in the park hands down. Although there are no drops or loops, the effects and music of this ride make it one of the most enjoyable rides that Disney has to offer. This ride is great for all ages. The queue is one of the best queues in the park.
