Attended
a
wedding
this
Friday
10/20/23
and
is
a
beautiful
place
for
a
wedding.
Ceremony
provides
plenty
of
sitting
and
good
audio.
There
are
few
tips
I
would
give
the
house
djs
as
I
am
a
professional
wedding
dj
myself.
During
cocktail
and
toasts,
the
speakers
are
aimed
towards
the
center
of
the
dance
floor
and
sweetheart
table.
So
it's
tough
to
understand
what
the
dj
is
saying
or
the
toasts
if
your
table
is
not
close
to
the
dance
floor.
To
easily
solve
this,
speakers
can
be
aimed
angled
out
to
the
guests
then
once
dancing
begins,
aim
them
back
at
the
dance
floor.
Second,
the
dj
would
play
a
song,
then
steps
back
and
just
stares
at
the
crowd,
not
even
try
to
engage
the
guests
much
and
would
play
the
songs
all
the
way
through.
It's
2023,
mixing
and
getting
in
and
out
of
tracks
is
critical
specially
with
social
media
and
short
attention
spans.
Third,
the
volume
stayed
fairly
low
during
dancing
almost
at
the
level
of
the
cocktail
music.
There
was
no
excitement
buildup
and
again,
loses
the
crowd.
I
highly
recommend
a
subwoofer.
The
two
QSC
tops
sounded
tingy
and
the
music
couldn't
be
felt
on
the
dancefloor.
Fourth,
no
current
music
was
played!
None,
zero,
nada!
The
couple
had
young
college
kids
and
at
least
a
few
new
current
bangers
would
be
nice.
But
since
this
dj
saw
a
latino
crowd,
he
only
catered
to
them.
Fifth,
there
are
bright
flood
lights
on
the
dance
floor
just
blinding
people.
It
looks
cool
from
the
dj
booth
but
trust
me,
not
while
you're
dancing.
I
would
aim
them
at
the
ceiling
to
create
that
desired
wash
effect
instead.
