My husband and I spent the weekend at Heritage Le Telfair resort on the Gourmet Bliss package and we highly recommend it. The staff was very warm, polite and amiable. There was a wide variety of food on offer- especially the seafood! We enjoyed the initiation to golf course, the vitality pool at the wellness spa, and the stand-up paddle experience. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to do the complimentary photoshoot session. The room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the amenities and the mini bar too :)

We stayed at Heritage Le Telfair for our Honeymoon and were not disappointed. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, we generally got the reservations in the restaurants we wanted. The Boma was probably the highlight. Also getting to use the sister hotel for dinners was an added benefit - will be back!

Whilst there is no denying this is a wonderful hotel, for its 5 star rating the service in some areas could be improved. Long wait by pool for drinks service, as was case in the restaurants at times. Our host was good but missed a few things and booked a riding adventure which was quite frankly appauling. Room service fabulous, and around the complex all staff friendly and welcoming. Biggest shock for us was the number of young children and our inability to book restaurants in an evening without them joining us! Also booking restaurants in advance of our stay because once we were there it was impossible to alter any bookings in the evening!

The reception at the resort was very good. The food was average and the meat at the buffet dinners usually cold. Our room was spacious but dated. There is not much to do outside the resort for non golfers. The service was surly on more that one occasion at Annabels where the buffet dinners and breakfasts are served. I waited 10 minutes to be seated for breakfast on a morning when I arrived 30 minutes before the breakfast service ended. The impression created was generally that it was not really a pleasure to be of service. The gym facilities are good and the treatment at the spa was good.

Marvelous 5* hotel. Good Gourmet Bliss formule with open access in bars and restaurants of the complex. Nice environment. Good restaurants, especially the Palmier with a wonderful chief in an open kitchen on the beach. Chateau, nice place, worthwhile to go one time, but the food is not at the right level. Very nice 18 holes golf. Staff concerned about the well-being of the clients. We will certainly come back.

Beautiful resort that is very well maintained. Offers huge amount for relaxation, activities and of course golf. Very child friendly in terms of kids clubs and provisioning and very friendly staff. Only thing of note is that there are a lot of steps here. So be aware that if you have a push chair you may need to do some lifting. That said I highly recommend as a place of relaxation and luxury with fantastic food too!

Generally very good. We had a pleasant stay and would come back. Location is great, the hotel is really nice, and the food very good and diverse. I would recommend. Only issue we had was with head office when trying to adapt our package to suit our needs. I appreciate it might not be a common request, but it was handled poorly regardless. Miscommunication between hotel management and head office is probably to blame and it ended up costing us (a little) more money. I would have rather avoided spending time on numerous phone calls with head office, and instead enjoy my holiday. The hotel staff were very nice and tried to help but on the last day the hotel manager wasn't around. We are still expecting to hear back from him.

Hotel itself was nice apart from the pathways, there were large puddles everywhere I ruined a pair of Birkenstock shoes, at one point near the C beach club I had to remove my shoes and wade through ankle deep muddy water not my idea of 5 star, Housekeeping service brilliant but restaurant service at times very disjointed sometimes felt like we were an inconvenience again not my idea of 5 star. Host service again hit and miss, we stated no buffet service and on 2 occasions we were booked into buffet restaurants

Fantastic resort in outstanding location for kiting - from bed to board. We visited with our kids who loved playing at the kiddy pool whilst mum and dad could go kiting on a wonderful spot. Kite Spot: The first 200 meters are a bit gusty during easterly winds afterwards one has plenty of space and waves in case one wishes. Safety available. Rooms: Wonderful rooms, spacious and well cared for. Restaurants: 8-10 (or more) restaurants to choose from. All of them with delicious food and lovely service. Private concierge: We had Ashnii as our private concierge looking after us wonderfully. She booked restaurants (included in half board) organized trips etc. Waterspout Centre: Lovely team with good teachers and latest equipment. Very helpful! We stayed there end of September for 2 weeks and had two weeks of wind. A wonderful time!!

A great resort. A lot of activities for all age groups especially if you are into golf. There are a lot of eating options. There are a lot of restaurants with various cousins and options. Overall, it was outstanding stay for us.

Beautiful property, our guest host was Sharmine, very friendly, attentive and helpful through out our the stay. She definitely made our stay special. Helped us plan activities and feel at home. Some rooms older than others and require maintenance. One restaurant was under construction, so limited restaurant availability but you can't beat the location. Close to hiking trails and most activities. Live music with many activities on the resort at night. Avoid dinner in Savanna at the sister property next door, not a pleasant experience.

The best resort! We spend several days there with the kid and small baby. We were surprised to find a baby cot, baby high chair, baby bathtub and even bottle sterilizer + bottle warmer in our room. Best attitude towards small babies. The territory looks absolutely beautiful. It was such a pleasure to walk around. There are several pools and restaurants. I highly recommend to include breakfasts as the food is fresh and delicious with lots of options. There is also an opportunity to have a kayaking/ catamaran/ sup ride along the river. I will dream to come back to this amazing place one day ❤️

I have been to 4 different resorts before I came to this place, thanks God this was my last resort in my stay as I didn’t get the treatment they got me in the beginning which will really change my mind about Mauritius and Mauritians people. The service and the staff are very poor and unprofessional. They didn’t treat us like we are the customers it was the other way around I was chasing them for everything. Not to mention the horrible housekeeping services which will make you feel like you’re staying in a 0 star resort not a 5 stars resort. Coming to the restaurants and their staff which will make you feel like you are the one who should serve them as they are not cooperative and will not make you feel like you’re in 5 stars resort. I will never recommend this place, in fact, I’ll warn everyone I know to avoid your resort specifically.

We stayed with a 1 y.o. baby, they put everything you need to the room! Great! The kids club is very welcoming, nursing room for babies including babysitting service. +their breakfast is amazing! All I need I found, even more. -the glass boat free tour - you will see nothing, the sea is boring. -yoga was boring

This is my third stay at Heritage Le Telfair. I have stayed at many of the 5 Star Resorts on the Island over the years but I now keep going back to Heritage Le Telfair. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, the Beach Suites are also sublime. The Hotel is elegant and spacious and even when the Hotel is full it never feels crowded and the Service remains 5 Star. It has so many restaurants to choose from and three pools including one that is heated. One of my most enjoyable things about Heritage Le Telfair is that I am a cyclist and walker and the South side of the Island is lovely to cycle around without loads of traffic and there are so many places to walk including the Nature Reserve, very long beach, along the road and beach front and Le Morne. I know that on my next trip to Mauritius I will definitely stay at Heritage Le Telfair again.

We were there as part of our honeymoon and loved it! Staff was super friendly, the food was amazing, the rooms were very neat and clean. Sharmine was our main host and did a great job making us feel welcomed. The boat house staff, even though they are from another company, were also really friendly and attentive (unlike what we saw somewhere else). Lastly, the location is superb! The beach there was really nice, and managed to see gorgeous sunsets. Would absolutely return

The hotel far exceeded our expectations. It is truly a beautiful venue and exudes an elegant charm. The gardens and grounds are stunning. The beach front junior suite we stayed in blew us away. The service and charm of everyone we met surpassed anything we have ever experienced on holiday before. We cannot say thank you enough for looking after us so well and the kind touches we were given made our trip even more special. Many thanks for a wonderful experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hotel is surrounded by beautiful landscapes and although has many rooms has a wonderful boutique ambience. Bel Ombré beach and ocean are also breathtaking. Our deluxe sea view room was incredibly spacious, stylish and decor was sophisticated. Staff were kind although a little intrusive with questions at breakfast so perhaps it might be best if they let you have your coffee first! I would recommend dinner at the chateau for the setting but the food (considering the price) could be improved and also letting guests want to leave themselves as opposed to reminding us several times they would book our buggy to leave. Overall, I would stay again and hope the suggestions help to make it an even better place!!

Great hotel, amazing friendly & helpful staff. Lots of choice for dining and every one served great food. Le Chateau is a perfect place to dine to celebrate the end of a wonderful holiday. The golf course is really well presented and a pleasure to play. If we had one small frustration it was that housekeeping was inconsistent.....room cleaning was fine, but towel provision varied from day to day and we had to call asking for missing items to be brought on 2 or 3 occasions. A small point, which didn't really detract from a fantastic holiday, but a 5* hotel shouldn't really make those small errors.

Went to Mauritius for the first time and stayed at this resort for 3 days. We stayed in a room with ocean access. We got our private access to the beach. The service at the resort is really good. We got free access to certain water activities (not sure if the same is applicable for all categories of rooms). They also have a golf place, in-house ice cream and waffle house, jacuzzi, steam room and spa Would highly recommend this resort.

Service is incredibly good! They do everything so you can enjoy every second of your holiday. They offer nice activities such as tennis/golf clinics or quad racing and they even have a kindergarden and offer nanny services which was very useful. Breakfast buffet is really nice. One improvement would be the quality of the dinner at the restaurants. It was definitely not bad but the dinners didn’t really have high standards.

Excellent stay at a beautiful hotel. The hotel itself is a sight to behold but the service is second to none. The staff went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome and ensure we had a good time. From Manav at the Cavendish bar to the kids club staff, from the house maids to the welcome desk. We loved being in Paradise for a few days.

Our stay at the Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort was beyond amazing. The hotel area is beautiful and impresses with astonishing architecture. The pools (one heated) are fantastic, and the beach with its numerous palm trees is the perfect place to spend your relaxing holiday next to the Indian Ocean. Thanks to the friendly staff who treated us like king and queen. Food, drinks and service are outstanding. We will be back.

Hotel is very nice and large, it is like a botanical garden, and it is very well maintained. I love the room, very well designed. You need to book restaurants before arrival, remember to ask for it when you book the hotel. No one tell you that unless you ask for it. If you have half board package, the only included restaurants are C-club, O-grill, Annabella’s and Le Parmier. But any special events are with supplement. So please ask for it before book restaurant. The hotel provides a lot of activities, but most of them are with expensive price. The good point is you can have the activities directly starting from hotel, so you don’t need to book taxi to travel somewhere else for anything.

Best food, service, setting, activities and everything. Don't waste your time looking around as Heritage is best by far. We never wanted to leave as whenever we did we just wanted to come back. So much to do for single for families. Jossy was also magnificent and saw to our every need always. She made the stay more than 5 stars. Thank you Heritage we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Telfair. I must say that all the information given at time of check-in (restaurant and other facilities opening times, seashell museum details etc.) was a bit pointless, as after a 12-hour flight, one can't exactly remember all this information. We ate at Annabelle's and the C Beach Club and both were very good. The room is spacious and clean. Our 'assistant' Jossy was great. Always helpful and she gave us some good insider tips.

This was one of our most pleasurable and enjoyable stays in a long time and this is not because of the travel restrictions of the last 2 years. From the warm welcome and the continuous care by Savilen, our stay will remain memorable for ever. All the staff is extremely friendly and helpful at all times, while giving the guest enough space and privacy. The food, the drinks, the resort, the golf course, everything is just top notch. We will surely return in the not so distant future.
