I stumbled upon this on my way to volunteer at the mini marathon. I was very taken back. Super emotional. I really loved the addition of the pentagon stone. The beams were powerful to see in person. I remember where I was. Do you?

Indianapolis does a great job with monuments and this is no exception. It’s a small, but well done memorial to the events of 9/11.

Located next to fire station 13. This overlooks the canal walk.

This is a very moving memorial to that fateful day in American History, that no one of that generation will forget, I like how this tribute to those lost that day was put together. This memorial was easy to find in Indianapolis's downtown district, during busy times parking maybe tricky. This is a must see tribute when in Indianapolis.

Highly recommend stopping to check this out. It’s right off the canal walk so if you have some free time walk on down and enjoy that also.

Fantastic memorial with a stone written about each of the 4 planes that crashed and where and the timing and what happened and how fast each plane was going upon impact. Also has pieces of the World Trade Center beams and a stone from the pentagon. Just taught my daughter what 9/11 was the week prior so this was perfect seeing the memorial this weekend!!

This is a surprisingly moving monument located just a hundred feet off the canal in downtown Indianapolis. I don't know why some twisted steel evokes so much emotion but it is worth stopping by if you are in the area. There is no dedicated parking so it is easiest accessed by foot.

Really nice memorial. The stone works and metal works are really nice. As well as the location of it.

Beautiful tribute. Very moving - made me cry. Thanks to all those who worked hard to create this memorial.

I actually didn't even know it was there. We came upon it by accident and I couldn't believe it. What a beautiful tribute. Gorgeous layout, perfect location overlooking the canal, and historic, symbolic, and solemn all at once. Very well done!!!
