Dr Maietta is the only doctor I have had in my 12 years of adult life and she is the main reason I do not go for check ups and have so much anxiety seeing doctors. She made me feel completely uncomfortable the first few times I seen her. I over heard her talking poorly about me to the other staff. My sister also feels the same way about her and also has anxiety seeing doctors because of comments she has made. I have came to her for when I absolutely needed a doctor and she only has her staff respond and the one time she did call me back she said, “who are you? Do I even know you? You haven’t seen me in a year you need to see me more I have no idea who you even are.” At that point I just went to the urgent care. I came to her again trying to make an appointment but she is booked months out. When I messaged her regarding my concerns to see if I can be seen sooner she had her staff respond saying I haven’t seen her for awhile I need to make an appointment for the next available a few months away. They did not care about my situation and didn’t address anything regarding me which is an absolutely horrible feeling when you are already feeling terrible. I have had the worse experiences with Loyola as an adult. I do not recommend her especially as a pubescent teen.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Loyola Doctors in general, but Dr. Maietta is truly a fantastic doctor and just a great, nice person overall. Extremely professional and knowledgeable, but just as importantly, very personable! She makes you feel comfortable and at ease no matter what your situation may be. You can tell she is very empathetic as she really listens to you (without judgement), makes astute observations and provides practical, helpful advice and recommendations. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new GP, and wish I could give her more than 5 stars!

I have had several encounters with doctors over my 60 years on this earth, and believe me I've had my fair share of awful ones who had no right to even get a license to practice medicine let alone treat patients, but doctor Maietta is one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She does what she says she will do in a timely manner which is rare in a doctor these day's, especially as most of them have too many patients to where they forget who you are and what meds they've already prescribed. Scary stuff. She actually reads what her nurses add to your personal chart so you don't have to repeat everything especially when you're not feeling well. Dr Maietta is extremely knowledgeable and actually cares about her patients well being at the time of the visit and beyond. She will listen to your questions, concerns or anything on your mind and won't dismiss them or talk down to you just because you're not a trained medical professional. So I'd recommend her to anyone who wants compassionate care because they're few and far between.

She is the best primary care doctor at Loyola. I have been going to Doctor Maietta for many years and she has always given me the best care available. She is kind and very easy to talk to. She has taken excellent care of me through some very difficult episodes. I would highly recommend her .

Dr. Maietta couldn't be any sweeter. She is friendly, thorough, professional and really concerned about her patients health. She asks a lot of important questions to learn your history and provides excellent advise. I highly recommend this doctor!

Dr. Maietta is the most caring physician I know. I have been seeing her since I was a teenager for a variety of reasons and there’s nobody else I would rather have to be my PCP. Very knowledgeable and thorough. I recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Maietta is one of the best doctors I ever had. She's got the sweetest personality and she definitely knows how to handle me (And that's saying alot). Plus get me to take my medication.

Dr. Maietta is the rare doctor who treats patients as humans, not specimens. Her medical knowledge and curiosity make my visits feel like problem-solving conversations in which I'm respected as a participant. I appreciate her compassion and her time.
