This place is perfect. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff was is friendly and attentive, and the menu’s offerings so tempting it’s a bit hard to decide what to get - you want everything!

Edited: 3rd time and did not disappoint. Hopefully I’ll be coming back till I try the entire menu. Avocado toast was tasted good, soft on seasoning. I was never fan of tots but these one is super crispy and good. What a pleasant breakfast! Everything was yummy starting for the coffee. Caramel macchiato was the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the banana bread French toast and did not special about it or different than eating a slice of banana bread but the real French toast was of the chain. 2nd time coming here trying something else and everything was amazing. The blood Mary was simply amazing.

Tried for the first time today and really liked it. Initially ordered the chilaquiles, but didn't realize it's more like a breakfast quesadilla, which is totally fine but likely a different cuisine and not what I'm used to, so the waitress saw I was disappointed, and let me choose the chicken and the waffles instead, and they were outstanding! The waffle is crispy and the chicken breading is perfection! Again, the chilaquiles would appease anyone looking for a cheesy delight, but just not what I was looking for and the waitress was incredibly accommodating especially while it was busy. I really like that they order directly on tablets too, felt like food came out quickly, would definitely return!

I been coming to this place for a while. It has never disappointed. Always get great service, and the food is always delicious. They have updated the drink menu to include alcoholic beverages which is a nice touch.

One of the better breakfast places in the Bolingbrook area. This place is clean, staff is friendly and their food is good. Above average ambions. You are able to customize most of their menu items if needed. For two people expect to spend at least $50. My only concern about this place was, front area tends to get overly crowded with people waiting, checking in and people paying their bills. Overall I would recommend this place.

I do not like writing bad reviews bc this is somebody's business.. but...heads up...Do NOT order the Monte Cristo. Its just deep fried bread so thick n crusty it hurts to eat...barely any turkey or ham..im not sure whoever made this sandwich understands that u dip THE WHOLE SANDWICH in egg n fry it..worst monte Cristo I've ever had. Maybe the cook needs to go order one from another restaurant so he/she can understand. My onion rings were so full of grease that it dripped down my hands when pulled one apart. Greasy, hard, unappetizing. Italian Meatball Soup had NO meatballs just crumbs of meat. The soup had a good flavor though. The decor is very nice.? Service was good. Food was served quickly.

Our waitress veronica was very attentive. The attention to cleanliness was very good. We tried the chorizo skillet w sweet potatoes.it was really good. My wife and I shared the plate. The waitress was thoughtful, she had the kitchen split the plate for us. Dec 2021 we tried the corned beef hash skillet. It tasted delicious. Again they split the meal for us. Great waitress-Veronica (again) my wife loves the fireplace. March 2022 supreme omlette w tater tots. Marilyn was our hostess, friendly n attentive

The second time there, they have definitely stepped up their food quality. The food was good, and me and my friend sat by the fireplace, which gave a nice ambiance.

Normally I have nothing but good to say about this restaurant the food is good the service is great however I don't know if they have a new chef/cook but the food today was sub par. Hash browns are raw the portion of corned beef hash fits on one fork and the over easy eggs are cooked to over hard. I normally come in or order out on Mondays so maybe the folks working Mondays are just better but this is by far the worst experience I've ever had and raw potatoes alone makes me want my money back but whatever I've got a skillet at home I'll cook em properly. The pancakes also are over done with 2 chocolate chips at best per cake. Why do I have to pay an additional fee if you're going to skimp. Fire your Thursday chef/cook or get some consistency in your kitchen. I would've been better off with a microwaved McDonald's breakfast.

Great place next to Portillo's to get breakfast and lunch. The pancakes are very good as well as the side items. The parking can be limited because Portillos and Andy's take up a great amount of traffic, but you can do a take out order by phone or online, so you have a few options when it comes to avoiding the lines. I would also make sure you check your order before you leave because I've had some items missing from my order when doing take out. But the staff always have a great attitude when I am interacting with them which is why I keep coming back.

We have made the mistake of trying honeyjam 4 times since it started going downhill. We used to get it all the time. Seriously, the hash browns are like boiled potatoes. Literally 3% brown. The rest just sad soggy potatoes. The hollandaise is given out like it's rare earth metals. You get a teeny tiny little cup of hollandaise that is chunky and poorly made for spinach scrambler crepes. We tried going to Bolingbrook because Downers is terrible. Turns out Bolingbrook is just as terrible. If I could go back and never spend money at honeyjam it still wouldn't be enough. I feel like I deserve damages paid to me for the atrocity that you all try to pass off as food. Seriously it's an embarrassment. Learn to cook an egg, learn to cook potatoes, learn to make hollandaise. Ugh

Came in about an hour to close, so it wasn't busy. We had the Chilaquiles Verdes and the Avocado BLT, which were not bad. The chilaquiles weren't crispy though, more on the "soggy" side, but good flavor. Coffee was pretty decent. ☕ Maybe next time I'll try the Vietnamese cold brew!

We've had some delicious breakfasts at Honey Jam over the last few years. Their eggs Benedict are great, skillets are tasty as are the stuffed french toast and banana foster crepes. The house jam on a buttered English muffin is amazing. Service has usually been above average and the dining room is kept pretty clean. They have alcohol, so don't be afraid to ask for a bloody mary or mimosa! I definitely recommend Honey Jam for breakfast or brunch.

As someone that goes out to eat almoat everyday and works in the service industry, I am disappointed in their lack of attentiveness. The hosts/cashiers are very nice but not attentive. :( I have visited the one in Downers Grove and loved it. I happened to be in the Bolingbrook area and ordered takeout. Ordered smores (super delicious) pancakes and half a salad and soup and my soup was missing. I checked and went back to tell them. The cashier guy was a bit clueless. He went to get someone to tell them about my soup and the host gave me my soup. I get to my house and my poppyseed dressing for my salad was missing. :( No point of me going back for it. I understand mistakes happen but please takeout orders need to be checked carefully. I also tipped on my takeout order bc I know what it feels like :(Bolingbrook is a very convenient location, but maybe I will drive a bit further to Downers next time for takeout. Therefore bc of my love for honey jam and the downers location this will be a 3. When Bolingbrook steps up maybe my rating will go up.

I can't begin to explain how pleased I was with my experience. The customer service was wonderful as always it was busy but they kept everything flowing and my food was absolutely delicious. I got the Mexican omelette with pancakes It was more food than I could eat I took the rest of it home.

Any restaurant that won't work with you to help set up a party (of 4) especially during covid, is insensitive and I guess doesn't need money. We wanted to give our friend of over 25 years a great brunch send off at this establishment, as she loves it, But They Refused To Help Us. 11:30 is the only time our friends has available. I myself am disabled and wanted to bring flowers to decorate the outdoor table but with my crutch I can't stand and hold everything or get their early(ad the manager advised me to do, like anywhere from 6am -9am, and just sit for hours and sit on a bench waiting). I do not drive. My driver is not able to wait with me so I would be waiting alone until my friend brought the guest of honor. By them I would be so uncomfortable and in pain I would not be able to sit through a meal and enjoy. I live in Bolingbrook, support Bolingbrook restaurants, BUT IT APPEARS THAT THIS BOLINGBROOK RESTAURANT DOESN'T WANT SUPPORT. HOW VERY SAD

We love dining here for breakfast or brunch on the weekends. They have plenty of seating and we typically don't have a wait. We've had the biscuits, nearly all of the skillets, waffles, pancakes, and specialty drinks. We have never had a bad meal and I always have a box of leftovers to eat the next day. The service is attentive.

The food was okay but the female waitress was kind of rude. I accidentally ordered a omelette that had bacon in it. And I kindly stated “I was unaware this had bacon in, I can’t have pork”. She stated “so you didn’t read the menu. It clearly says that it’s bacon in here.” I made a honest mistake, and she made me feel horrible about it. On a positive note, she did take it back and bring me another one without bacon, and told me happy birthday since today was my birthday. The rest of the staff was very nice and made me feel welcomed.

Highly underrated breakfast restaurant in my opinion. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. My wife, kids, and I all really enjoyed everything we ordered and there was so much to choose from. The cappuccino was one of the best I've ever had. We will be returning in the future, well worth the trip.

  • 3/5 Corinne S. 7 months ago on Google
Maybe they were just off today, but the food was mid at best. The biscuits had no flavor, the texture of the pancakes were off, and my omelet had one little pocket of cheese. On the other hand, my husband thoroughly enjoyed his chicken and waffles.

They have outdoor tented seating with tables spaced apart. Service was good, but food not so much. We ordered sandwiches that came nicely toasted on the outside and cold on the inside (the cheese wasn't even melted).
