This park has been on our to-do list for a while. The weather was perfect for trail walking. But when we got there, they had a naturalist giving a presentation about snails. Very cool and informative. So we got 2 snails to take home. We decided to come back on another nice weather day to walk the trails so we wouldn't be leaving the snails in a hot car.

This park is the best!!! Not many people know about this park, which makes it a great choice if you want to go to a park and don't wanna bother with a crowd. It's a great place to have a picnic. Great place for families. They have added swing sets recently. The park attendants are very polite as well. Highly recommend if you prefer a secluded place. Have gone there many times.

We enjoyed the maze and playground. We looked around in the nature center and learned about turtles. We hiked a few trails and looked at all the leaves. We took our dog too and enjoyed meeting other dogs on the trail.

Went on a few trails and explored the fish maze and it was a peaceful and beautiful experience with my wife and 1 yr old in a stroller

Over 6miles of marked trails within the 232 acres of land. This is one of my favorite places that isn't too terribly far from my location. Everything is well maintained and kept up. Plenty of parking and areas to spread out. Year round activities at the Nature Center.

Excellent place for kayaking! We put in at MCcloud Park and set out on a fishing journey to Pine Bluff covered bridge. We didn't realize how far that really was until we made it. We were all very tired but, at the same time had an adventure that we would never forget.

Lovely little park that has so much to offer! We enjoyed the ponds, river, ridges, and hills. My 8-year-old caught a frog. We enjoyed watching five turtles in the little pond. We look forward to returning!

Beautiful park with lots of great trails. Most of them are very wide, smooth, and easily accessible, though there are some steeper hills. The trails are all clearly marked with icons to make it easy to keep track of where you are. Trails go through a number of different types of ecology, including plains, marsh, and forests. There are lots of spots to sit and take a break overlooking the river. The Nature Center also has a bird-watching room with lots of info on identifying birds. There are a few turtles and snakes in the nature center, plus a ton of posters and flyers on local flora and fauna.

What I got to see today it was a nice little place for a walk. There's not much but trails there, and a nature center and I only saw one shelter house.

My friend and I had never been to or heard of this park until about a week ago. We decided to do a Google search for fall festivals and this one came up. This is a beautiful park! It is absolutely lovely.

Great, small nature preserve. Bathrooms, a shelter, and a few picnic tables compliment several miles of walking paths. Lovely place to spend a morning.

We went to McCloud Nature Park for their Maple Syrup festival. We had a lot of fun. There were outdoor activities and plenty of food inside. They do take a donation to support the "Parks." If you wanna go make sure you make a reservation. We went last year for the first time. It lasts from 9 am (I think) until 3 pm. And we got there @ 2 pm and they had run out of food by noon. So if you plan on eating make sure to get there earlier rather than later. They do tap the trees there, pretty cool to see.

Excellent park. Saw an indigo bunting and several bluebirds, fish in the creek and a lot of flowers still coming up. Well maintained trails you do not have to stare down to navigate and an abundance of beautiful greenery.

Nice little nature park. Friendly staff. Loved the bee exhibit. Great place to do a nice walk, tons of nature and opportunities to take plenty of nature pictures. Creek was perfect to dip your toes and cool off in. Great time!
