Update 10.18.18 - This place is amazing, if your insurance accepts FL Cancer Specialists dont call around, just go. Dr. Patel and Dr. Nancy really care about their patients. They listen, inform and help as much as possible. Dr. Nancy has personally called me to check on me after some rough chemo cycles. How many Drs do that themselves? Very few. Their assistants usually make calls to check on patients, which is a normal process I usually have no issue with. FL Cancer Specialists' chemo delivery team in the back room is top notch and they are so good at making their area a stress free zone even though they are working so hard and treating multiple patients at the same time. Big shout out to Tanya, Joanie, Jogina. They are amazingly blessed and compassionate nurses providing what I consider the most important medical treatment a human will ever receive. Keep up the great work!!! No hi

First let me emphasize that I rarely write negative reviews so it takes a lot for me to do this. 2nd let me say that the doctors are wonderful. HOWEVER the administration are beyond horrendous. In the last year I have had to literally battle to prove that they had screwed up billing, and now I have another situation where they are once again exhibiting a total disregard for their patient - a 90 year old who has been going to the practice every 6 weeks for the past 9 years. I cannot say enough negative things about them and wish that my mother could go elsewhere (and the 1 star is only because you can’t score a zero - and also in recognition of the doctors)

Staff is wonderful to patients from reception to nurses to doctors. Makes you feel how you would like to be treated. Staff is happy where they work so it shows they are.cared for too. Clean and comfortable setting in waiting rooms, bathrooms and offices.

I did a doordash delivery for a staff member named Jessica here, which consisted of a vehicle completely full of bagels and coffee. Front seat, back seat, and trunk where loaded. Then I brought everything in myself. These guys tip was $0.00! This is unacceptable! If possible to give zero stars that's what they would have gotten. Did I mention I did this in pouring rain!

Terrible place to get treatment. Most of the staff was miserable, and their not the ones with cancer! Very very slow, to get testing and to start treatment. Maybe they think that's OK, it not their lives on the line.. Do not see Dr. Eakle. She is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, and only knows how to read a paper to tell you what the protocol is for your dis-ease. Zero compassion or care at this establishment. Zero. Go to Moffitt. I just can't say enough what an ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Just don't go.

People please be aware I wouldn’t recommend using this place for yourself or loved ones unless you don’t have any other choice .. my mother is a patient there under the care of Dr. Scott Lunin and his nurse / staff are very rude .. for starters they never refunded me $50 that my mother was over charged for …they rush through these visits and are very unconcerned and not very thorough at all… they don’t send over referrals when needed. They also told my mom who is suffering from dementia that they didn’t have time to wait on her to recite her current medications to them .. Awful staff .. very rude and very uncaring.

I am always surprised by the friendliness and smiles I experience with every visit. The receptionists make you feel like you are a special patient of theirs, even though they have hundreds. It's very welcoming and reassuring.

Dr Anjan Patel and his staff are wonderful. They work with you and explain everything. My husband just went through 3 years of chemo for stage 4 colon cancer and after surgery is cancer free. They will follow-up also with any scans that are necessary. Everyone at Florida Cancer Specialists is so caring and easy to work with.

I've been coming here for about two years now and I can't get over the aquarium on the main floor next to the treatment area. Those fish are miserable. They're so overcrowded and stressed. I told a girl at the desk just last week about the poor angelfish that kept swimming in circles with sores on its mouth. Not the first time I've said something about the aquarium. Other patients that I've talked to agree, so it's not just me. Help those poor dang fish already...

I love Dr Patel but I’m very disappointed with the front desk. I had a 930 appointment and was 10 minutes late and they told me appointment was for 915 ( it was 930). They made no accommodation to get me in at that point and either had to wait for an opening or reschedule. After 3+ years of no issues, they had wrong time and made no effort to get me in. Ok I vented

1st visit I saw a doctor. Visits after that were only being scheduled to see a practitioner nurse. Patients with cancer are being subject to nurses who does not have the education and training of medical doctors. My encounter with a practitioner was rough and frustrating. She came across as a commando type making communication difficult.
