driving in area I have never been try to ask officer for directions he give me a speeding ticket after noticing I'm a federal employee and hearing my new york accent and not to mention I am mixed i got a ticket for $437 and had been going through hardship from an officer who may be hiding his true self in a uniform I want anyone who not from florida and thinking about moving or working out here dont do it especially in winter park fl they will even go as far as to come to court because you said you would fight it mind you never recieved a call from anyone on that day which i agree to do the virtual hearing now I have a guilty plea against when I never had a fare court case if I wasnt called to plea my case instead you have an officer who is present and can lie on me with out me defending myself that police station is like La police and Im starting police the court system over there is all in with them trust they did this to alot of out of town dark skin people and I never ever had a speeding ticket ever unto that day

I would like to thank the Winter Park Police Department for Pulling over a man in a cream Mini Cooper on June 7th. He was driving 26 mph over the speed limit and was a threat to the whole community. He was a Danger to our safety and the ugly car was a danger to our eyes, thank you to our boys in blue.

I was pulled over last night by officer Bruce Robinson while leaving soccer practice and on my way to work for going a bit over the speed limit. I have never had such a great experience before with an officer of the law. Not only was he courteous, it’s the first time I’ve ever been pulled over and actually felt like an officer was genuinely trying to make sure everything was alright. He simply asked me if everything was okay because he noticed I was going a bit fast. I explained soccer practice was delayed, and I had to work that night at the airport. I’m not sure if the department will read this review, but officer Robinson should be noticed for his courteousness, and his handling of a situation. If this gets to you officer Robinson, I was the flight attendant on my way to work from soccer practice!

Winter park police force is one of the softest task team if seen in my life. What ever “supervisor” they have, short lady with glasses, is not who you want protecting the people. The team is a joke, you have dangerous criminals squatting in a house and you’re too concerned with protecting them rather than upholding neighborhood citizens. What a WOKE JOKE

I was involved in a traffic accident and the response time and the level of professionalism great. They shut down the area and we're working the seen in a matter of minutes. The officers were very caring and respectful of both parties. Officer Ligon was top notch she handled the paper work very professionay and explained all the information and answered all the questions also she helped calm everyone down and got us all to relax. Thank you for being such a great help. I do not live in winter park but the tax payers should be very proud of the service these officers give every day.

Appears To Be A Professional/Courteous Department. A little Lackadaisical/Undisciplined As It Applies To Their Actual Duties & Job Knowledge. Lt. Walker The Community Is Watching. If Your Department Is Doing The Bare Minimum Of What Is Expected Of Them You Should Be Fine. i am Not Your Internal Affairs.

My mom passed on August 13, 2023, while I was not in town. WP Police Officer Gysler was on the scene. Following, I phoned the station and was told Ofc. Gysler would call me back, which he did within just a few minutes. He was not only forthcoming with details, but kind and compassionate. Extremely nice person. One of WPP’s finest.
