I recently visited Ovation Bistro with high expectations, hoping for a memorable dining experience. However, I must say that my visit left much to be desired. While the restaurant had its redeeming qualities, I encountered several issues that were hard to overlook. First and foremost, the service was disappointing. The staff appeared inattentive and disengaged, leading to prolonged waiting times for both seating and orders. Their lack of attentiveness made it challenging to get their attention when we needed assistance. This poor service significantly impacted the overall dining experience and left me feeling unattended to and undervalued as a customer. Additionally, the overhead lighting in the restaurant was noticeably dusty, which cast an unfortunate shadow on an otherwise inviting ambiance. It was disheartening to see such a lack of attention to detail, as it gave the impression of negligence in maintaining a clean and comfortable dining environment. The dusty lighting took away from the overall atmosphere and detracted from the enjoyment of the meal. Another disappointment was the pricing of the food. While I understand that quality comes at a price, the dishes at Ovation Bistro were simply overpriced for what they offered. The portions were smaller than expected, and the taste did not justify the hefty price tags. It was disheartening to pay a premium and leave feeling underwhelmed with the overall culinary experience. Despite these shortcomings, I must acknowledge that Ovation Bistro did have a few positives. The restaurant’s decor was stylish and aesthetically pleasing, and the menu boasted a variety of options that could have been promising if executed better. Nevertheless, these positives were overshadowed by the issues of poor service, dusty lighting, and overpriced food. In conclusion, my experience at Ovation Bistro was marked by disappointment. The subpar service, dusty overhead lighting, and overpriced food detracted from what could have been a pleasant dining experience. Regrettably, I would not recommend Ovation Bistro based on my visit, as there are other establishments that offer better value and more attentive service.

Date night!!! We decided to try ovation and we are not disappointed. Absolutely delicious. I had the smoked wings. They were fall off the bone. My girl had the salmon artisan. Both amazing we will be back. The manager Tyler was great and Amanda is almost as good as Patrick

We went here because the reviews were so good. They were right the whole experience was great!! Felicity was our server and she did a fantastic job! The food… The Food made the whole experience! It was so delicious. I had the Diablo Del Mar with Salmon. And My wife had Parmesan Crusted Chicken. We will definitely be coming back. Wish we found this place sooner!!!

Interesting place, completely opposite that I usually like, as fine dining and arty atmosphere. Atmosphere was not the best, dark and not too friendly for a family with 5 years old, but… food and service was excellent. We liked everything we ordered, I had ribs, perfectly cooked, seasoned and served!

We ordered through Uber eats to get delivery for a large group. The food was tasty even though our drinks and a couple side items didn’t arrive. That was remedied through UberEats but doesn’t change the fact that the items didn’t arrive. The chicken tenders were extremely hard and difficult for the kids to bite into/chew. All of the other items were cooked as requested. We usually eat in but decided to order delivery this time. We did request utensils but they weren’t delivered. I gave 4 stars because service inside is always friendly and we enjoy visiting this location. We like supporting Ovation and wish they could stay consistent when ordering online through a delivery partner.

The service was friendly and fast, but the food was very mediocre. We got smoked wings and the potato skins. The wings had very little smoke flavor and the blue cheese was very strange tasting. The skins came with a ‘signature’ meat, we chose pork. There was very little of the pork on the skins. My 7 year old got fries and a burger. The fries were good but the burger was just edible.

This place rocks! Great for date night, solo dinner or dinner with the family! The bartender was attentive and drinks on point, the manager checked on us and our satisfaction as customers. Sit at the bar or table will get you the same great treatment! I highly recommend this place and give thanks to my friend Jimmy for inviting me here. If you read this far... You should give it a try! For sure! The place is clean well maintained and will definitely have my business again for sure!

In town for a quick trip to the Bok tower, we needed a gluten free place to fuel up. A quick search, my girlfriend found this spot for us. We were greeted by Patrick who did a great job getting us seated and explaining the menu. We split the potato skins and a brisket sandwich and that was plenty for us. The skins were so crispy and delicious.

We were there for lunch! Excellent service right from the friendly greeting at the door! Our server recommended the brisket sandwich to my husband and he LOVED it with the sweet potato fries drizzled w/ honey glaze! I had the wedge salad w/ the brisket and I will agree! Best brisket EVER. Great prices, food and service...we'll definitely be back!!

Our first time here, we were a party of 13. We had Faith S as our waitress and she was very attentive, never forgot anything our table asked for and always prompt with refills. Faith was AWESOME!! Great food! Great service! We will come back!

Went to Ovation on Cyprus Garden Blvd. My wife made a 6:15 reservation and we got there at 6 and we were made to wait until our reservation time of 6:15 even though there were 4 empty tables. We were sat at a booth that'd was so narrow that the table rubbed against both mine and my wife's chest during the whole meal. We decided on sirloin and ribs with baked potatoes. The sirloin steak was 6 oz about the size of a can of coke round. Dinner was served with a salad which I am not thoroughly convinced it had dressing on it. There also was bread in a basket that was warm served with rock hard butter. The only knife we had was the butcher knife (12 inches long) to spread the butter. With the table pushing on my chest and rubbing continually while I tried to eat I just wanted the meal to be over. $60 for a meal that was not that great.

This used to be my favorite lunch spot. Not anymore. Ordered their Ribeye Steak and they brought me a Sirloin. Worst part is the kitchen knew it was the wrong steak(this came from management.) Friend ordered the Brisket and it was not good at all. Not sure what has happened to the quality of staff and food we were used to before. Waitress looked to be unhappy to be at work.

Patrick owned our experience at Ovations when he met us at the door.. I ordered the Beef Brisket Wedge Salad and it was perfect, the lettuce was fresh green and crisp with blue cheese, bacon, and an amazing balsamic glaze. This is by far the best beef brisket I’ve ever tasted. All meats are smoked in-house Truly a 5 star experience. I can’t wait to go back for Thursday evening prime rib and to try their specialty cocktails.

It was our first time at this restaurant and it was pretty good. We had an amazing waitress named Shiloh that took care of us very well. Food had a lot of flavor and as well the desserts. My favorite was definitely the pineapple upside down cake😋😋 Didn't give the 5⭐ because the steaks didn't came out the way we ordered,( we asked for medium well and came out well done) I hope this is something they can fix for next time. La comida y los postres tenían muy buen sabor. Mi postre favorito for el pineapple upside down cake😋😋 No le di 5⭐ pq los terminos de los steaks salieron Termino completo en vez de Medium well como los pedimos. Espero q eso sea algo q mejoren para una futura ocasion. El ambiente era muy familiar.

What a great experience! We had lunch here and everything was really good. Many thanks to our waiter, Patrick, who was also great. I loved the brisket potato skins that we got as an appetizer and the brisket "Bravo Taco" was also outstanding. The pulled pork taco was good but the brisket was better. I also loved their seasoned flat fries which are a cross between a fry and a potato chip. The chicken on my husband's Caesar Salad was also outstanding as was the salad itself even though it was more of a side salad size than a regular. Anyway, we'll definitely be returning to try more yummy food on their menu.

Always great food. This time I opted for the buffalo chicken sandwich. Chicken was super tender and the buffalo sauce is perfect. Patrick our server was great and attentive.

Service was great! Drink was delicious and salad was large and perfectly dressed. Ribs were perfect and so was the sweet potato. My only problem was my steak was pretty undercooked.

Had lunch here today. The brisket sandwich was great. The fries are very different. Really like them. My son had the buffalo chicken sandwich which was really good. Great friendly service. Patrick was our server.

This was our first time at this location and everything was AMAZING! Our server was Zach, and we found out at the end of our meal that it was his first week working here! We were floored cause he was so knowledgeable about the menu. We also have 18 month old twins that can be a little much when we go out to eat, which usually deters us from dining inside at this stage. But he was quick to get us anything we needed for them to keep them calm at the table and was so understanding, even telling us about his big family so he gets it. He was so personable, we probably would have invited him to sit with us if he wasn’t working! The food was delicious and quick, despite how busy they were. We also had the best bloody Mary’s made by Patrick at the bar! Overall just a great experience, and we will definitely be back!

If you ever wanted to go to a place where the moment you hear smoked steak that is wood grilled, your mouth instantly waters, this is the place. The moment my family and I entered, we were greeted by the owner into a simple yet elegant atmosphere where you can go underdressed or overdressed and not feel like you are standing out. The service was welcoming from start to finish, and the moment I chomped down on their suggested Prime Rib, my taste buds exploded from pure satisfaction. The meat was tender and well seasoned as well as their sides. This is a bistro restaurant I definitely see myself coming back to.

Amazing waitresses and great food, I had the loaded burger with brisket substituted and was delicious. Fries with cheese and bacon were very good.

First time there...will be back again and again. The salad for my husband and I were so crisp and the dressing blue cheese, which my husband said it was the best he ever had. I had the BBQ ranch and that was also great. My husband had the ribs I had the combo of steak and ribs...beyond great. He had baked sweet potato I had regular baked...again just perfect. The waitstaff were so helpful and nice. Our server Brooke was as sweet as sweet could be. The manager came over and was extremely nice. My husband and I highly recommend Ovation in Winter Haven

Went to Ovation restaurant twice! Nice restaurant with delicious food and good atmosphere! The first time we were lucky to go on Wednesday Wine and they offered a bottle of wine for free!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. We have been wanting to try it and are so glad we did. The staff was extremely friendly. Our server, Shelby should be kloned so the world has more excellent servers. The food was truly tremendous! Great flavor, came out hot, steak just like it was ordered, inviting food and drink specials. I have the chicken alfredo and it was superb. Restaurant was very clean, which makes a big difference in my reviews and desire to return again. I could go on forever, I think. Met the GM, Robert who came by the table to ensure we were enjoying the meal and ourselves... And indeed we were. Please, if you have not tried this place, do yourself a favor and go there. I can assure you that you will NOT be disappointed. Thanks to Shelby, Robert and the rest of the staff for caring and making it show!!!

The place is really nice. It was the first place to visit for dinner on our vacation. As an appetizer, we ordered fried BBQ wings, which my kid was very satisfied with. For the main course, we had Encore shrimp pasta, the Chichen Ovation with mashed potatoes and Cesar salad, and the ribeye with broccoli and garden salad. Everything was delicious, we were glad to choose this place to eat! The waiter was very attentive. The time for waiting was appropriate.

This restaurant was outstanding. The food was amazing. We ordered the chicken ovation ( chicken, spinach rotated tomatoes, ghost cheese) and steak. The sauces on both of the dishes were out of this world. One of the best meals that we have had in a while. Our server Erin and Izzy are great

Enjoyed our visit for dinner the other day. I came here with a friend. I got a flatbread and salad. My friend got a steak. We both enjoyed our food. Staff was friendly and efficient. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere.

Our food was perfect! The brisket was so tender it fell apart and the coleslaw was excellent. I have never had better beer cheese and pretzel bread!! Our server was very attentive. We never had to ask for anything; she had it on our table before then. We dined in Winter Haven and highly recommend this restaurant!!!! Thanks to all who stopped by our table to check on us, even the District Manager!!!!
