From the outside, this hotel fulfills most of your needs. The location is great, it's close to the mall, Raymond Jay Stadium, etc. The service that I experienced was pretty good as well. The restaurant inside had a VERY weird mild-like smell. The rooms were very dated. The lighting was too low, and the key card entry did not fully work. You had to pull the handle up and push hard to get the door opened. The same thing happened with my friend's room. The sink in the bathroom didn't drain. The remote to the TV only worked for a few hours. It was a bit of a mess. Not the worst hotel I've been in but not the best either. Definitely needed some updates and maintenance.

FABULOUS few days at this hotel! I can’t say enough good things about it. The team their is seriously exceptional! So much kindness and care made this experience that much better. They room was cozy and comfortable. The heated indoor/outdoor pool was perfect. To add to all the wonderful amenities they offer a shuttle services that will take you within a 2 mile radius and there’s a lot to do within 2 miles which was unexpected. Thanks for the great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean and enjoyable. The front desk staff however was very unwelcoming. Seemed like they just don't like people as a whole, but does the job to get by. It was unfortunately the talk of our stay. We tried the hotel out to get a feel of the service for our wedding guest, but its not going to work for us. We want our guest to feel welcome. This was our second time visiting and still the same energy from the front desk staff. The cleaning crew are the only nice people here which was unfortunate especially since the hotel is so lovely. Marriot please revamp front desk staff.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my most recent visit to the Marriott Tampa Westshore. Many years ago, I booked a stay there for my entire college team, and it was a great stay. Recalling that stay, I figured it would be a great call for a business stay. I was sadly mistaken. Every other towel placed in the room, two different rooms at that, was visibly and significantly soiled somehow. I literally had to search through all of the towels in both rooms to find options suitable for use. My second night, the floor in my first hotel room became very damp and the room became so musty, among other things, I began to develop a reaction to and had to request another room. I did not find out until the next day that there was a massive water issue flowing from the top floor all the down to the first floor which affected many rooms. The second room was better. The hotel does not open the M-Club on the weekends. They provide you a hotel meal voucher that is supposed to be good to use for the breakfast buffet. What they do not tell you is that they decide whether or not to run a buffet based on occupancy. If there is no buffet, they offer a VERY low-grade option. You do not find this out until you walk into the restaurant. Once again, very disappointing. Overall, the hotel is an older hotel. The rooms are decently modern. When everything is working, it is a solid 3-star Marriott stay. Unfortunately, my experience was not close. The young lady at the front desk was very polite, professional, and accommodating. No complaints regarding customer service. The hotel is in very close proximity to the airport and great restaurants such as Ruth's Chris and Eddie V's. It is also close to the mall. I hope my experience at the Marriott Tampa Westshore was an anomaly.

Had a generally good stay at the hotel. The standout was the excellent shuttle service, conveniently taking you anywhere within a mile. The restaurant had its highs and lows – acceptable breakfast, fantastic shrimp, but the quinoa salad was a miss (resolved with a bill adjustment). The room was great, though room service could improve on cleanliness – noticed dust and leftover residue under the water glass. Informed the supervisor, who addressed it with a discount upon checkout. Additionally, the hotel offers a gym and swimming pool, providing extra amenities for guests looking to stay active or unwind. These facilities complement the overall experience, adding value to the stay.

On behalf of Carefree Boat Club Network, I’d like to give a huge shout to the Marriott Tampa Westshore team. We held a 4-day conference, and the entire staff was just phenomenal. Huge thanks to Sandra the service coordinator for helping us pull this off. On our banquet night, we had completely forgotten to order a bar. Ludmilla and her fantastic team - Malaysia, Melissa, and Genesis - went above and beyond figuring out how to solve our late night problem, working double time on a job they were not expecting that night. They jumped into action without hesitation and completely saved the night. They did it with smiles, and were just so attentive and kind. Mary took excellent care of us at breakfast every morning, and we are not an easy or small bunch! Freddy and DJ were such awesome, friendly drivers. Your staff at the Marriott Tampa Westshore is extremely professional and synced. We could not be more pleased with our stay. Thanks to you all.

My wife and I visited the first weekend in August and I have to compliment the pool bar service!! We had 2 servers out at the pool area. Angelica and Malaysia were top notch, very fast and they kept the food and drinks coming! Such a beautiful hotel and 10/10 service!!!

Traveled from Raleigh for a work event at this hotel and I also stayed there for 3 nights. My room was clean and I had everything I needed. The staff is the best thing about the hotel; they are very nice, friendly, helpful and very accommodating with our requests. Genesis, Angelica, Donovan, Hector and Yordan were the team that serviced us for our work event and they were absolutely EXCELLENT. Very professional, polite and accommodating. Definitely coming back here for future stays/events.

Great location. Free parking. Close to a ton of restaurants. Refrigerators were small Andrea didn’t work well. Concierge Lounge had very stale food, about even though it’s free.

We had a terrible experience with an Airbnb in Tampa and I’m so grateful after dealing with that, we landed here for our second (and last night) in Tampa. I’m kicking myself for being 100% sure of names of the two girls that took care of us, I believe Felicia is one. They were so gracious with my 10 year old niece and I and really helped turn our trip around. We nearly left the state and an event the we have had tickets for since November 2022 due to the previous mayhem. Thank you so much!! 50/10

We will definitely stay here again. Room & bathroom were very clean. Housekeeping went to our room and cleaned it and do our beds ,some new towels & takeout trash. It was very nice and great staff at the front desk.

Ohhhhh, my experience was absolutely great! John is the best representation of this hotel. He helped me and my son so much during our visit. He suggested attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas sight see in Tampa and surrounding areas. He provided a map and was very detailed with his delivery of information! There is a snack area with snacks for sale downstairs. They have free breakfast and the hotel was really clean. It very well exceded my expectations. We will be back. Thanks, John!

The Staff were awesome; professional and helpful!! Rooms were clean. Three fast elevators meant no waiting for the elevator. The pool was phenomenal plus it was heated!! Great location and plenty of parking. We had an awesome view of the airport from the 11th floor! Grandchildren loved watching the planes take off!!

We held our fifth annual meeting in a row on August 2nd at the Marriott Westshore. Ludmilla was excellent as always. She has been a rock of great service and support for years. Plus, this year her service team including Genesis, Angelica and Donovan made sure all of our attendees had a great food, break refreshments were on point and the details were taken care of. I hope the Marriott will have us back again next year.

I was here recently for work for four nights and it was a great stay. Rooms are slightly dated but the service was great. I don’t typically have room service done and usually call the front desk on the second day for fresh towels and amenities. To my surprise, this housekeeping team left a basket of fresh towels and amenities for me without asking. Great touch! Thanks!

My sister and I stayed there for the George Strait concert a few weeks ago. Angelica our server was over the top. She was the BEST!!! Anthony, the bar manager was great. Britney up front was awesome. My sister and I had a late flight out and she let us take a shower in the exercise room before our flight. The overall stay put awesome. I will definitely stay there again. Josh upfront that checked us in on Friday was the absolute best

Great location, 5mins from the airport, and there is a complimentary shuttle. Maria at the front desk and another lady she may be a supervisor are so welcoming and cheerful, topped with meeting customer needs. The driver was awesome, too. The rooms, bathrooms, and all other facilities are very clean. I will definitely stay again and again.

This was our second time here, the first time was in July and I had to leave for an emergency. Jessica helped us out and only charged us for the one night, she didn’t have to. She is the only reason we came back and the staff didn’t disappoint us. However, the pool needs to be cleaned and maybe updated. Other than that, it was a great stay. Thank you, Jessica.

My company held their annual conference at this hotel and it was wonderful. The rooms are clean, the shuttle and proximity to things is unmatched. The staff alone will definitely be the reason we return again next year, I want to give a huge thank you to Sandra, Ludmila, Jose, ninza, Britney, And anyone else that helped with the catering and wait staff for our conference.

I booked 2 nights. For some reason, my 2nd night was canceled. Found at while dining at the bat and was told I could not charge to my room because I checked out. My key still worked, so I had no idea what happened. Although my room was never cleaned and coffee was not refilled. So, after a long day at a conference, I had to prove I did not cancel the reservation. Sunday, I asked for a 12pm check out. No problem. However, while I was in conference, my husband had to go to the desk 3 times because the key kept deactivating. It's not the normal service I am accustomed to being a Gold Elite Member.

I liked the smell of the building, which was clean and nice. The breakfast wasn’t included and actually our order was expensive. The pool temperature was good and it was big enough. The staff were extremely helpful, worth mentioning.

Some of the greatest hotel staff I have ever encountered! The front desk staff, the shuttle driver, the concierge lounge attendant and the housekeepers were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure my family had a great experience. Yes it’s an older Marriott, but it’s clean and in great condition. Yes there’s a strip club across the street, but other than seeing it while pulling out of the parking lot you’d never know it was there. The location was perfect, a couple of blocks from the International Plaza Mall and very convenient to the airport. We will definitely be back next trip to Tampa.

Hotel was extremely pricey for the condition it’s in. Did a weekend stay here because reviews were good and thought it was Walking distance to things. My fault for not doing better research. What made our stay though was the service from the shuttle Drivers. They were so friendly, informative and helpful. Tyler went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Cannot thank him enough!

I absolutely loved my weekend stay at this hotel/resort. Everything was perfect from my check in experience to the room ( I had a king bed and balcony) I loved the pool area and on-site bar and restaurant. The entire staff was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I give this hotel 6 stars and 3 thumbs up. I recommend if you are in the area stay here! I will definitely be back anytime visiting Tampa, Florida or Clearwater Beach ⛱ there was lots of places nearby to eat and for entertainment purposes. A shopping mall close and plenty in walking distance. I booked this location last minutes literally 30 minutes before check in and it was the 1st week of spring break! If you're looking for an exceptional experience stay here!

An enjoyable experience staying at the Marriott. Clean rooms and spacious property with bar and food options on site. Close to lots of entertainment of all kinds and close to the airport. Inside the decorative features are clean and contemporary. The indoor outdoor pool was a great way to unwind my children. Plenty of parking. Stephanie and Josh were helpful and courteous when I needed help. Great job!! Malaysia was so polite and kind at the bar she is a gem . Her professionalism exudes through her care of her patrons. Friendly service, clean facility. Large pool. Convenient location. Breakfast is way overpriced. We skipped dining at the hotel and instead chose the restaurant across the parking lot for half the price and twice the quality.

Stay was good. Front desk was very accommodating until I was charged for an extra day that I didn’t stay for.. accountant isn’t in for 2 weeks. Looks like I am eating the interest until then.

Awesome experience. Everything went perfect, the pool is a great concept of being indoor/outdoor, and the staff was SUPER friendly which always makes you feel a little more at home. I also felt safe, given I was traveling alone and coming back at late hours (3-4am). I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in the area. I also appreciated they weren’t pushy about the 11am checkout time. That’s annoying to me when the hotel staff is rushing you when you’re already in a hurry.

We were coming in on a late flight & needed a place to spend the night. Worked perfectly! Marriott beds, super comfy, clean room, plenty of supplies. The Kitchen was closed, but we were hungry, & asked if they could do bacon & eggs. They did! Was great! Marriott service at it's best.

We came across this hotel due to the location next to Charley’s steakhouse and now we stay here each time we come to Tampa. During our last stay we had an issue with our reservation and the manager Josh took care of everything. Now every time we come Josh makes sure our check in goes smoothly and we appreciate his attention to details. He is very professional and provides great customer service. Breakfast buffet was closed, but the food we did have needed improvement.

What a beautiful hotel. Front desk staff was just amazing. I had a question on pet friendly info and Jessica was so professional and kind on the phone before my arrival. Once staying at the property, the front desk continued their delightful customer service. Kyle and Terese where so informative and kind with questions I had about the Tampa area and billing on my room. Great hotel restaurant, entrees were so delish (Angus filet a must have) indoor/outdoor pool so fun and clean!! Totally satisfied, Mr. Marriott!! 101 stars deserved.

One can never go wrong staying at this Marriott, Staff here are amazing, some of the best in the hospitality industry. Everyone can think of a time when the person checking you in made you feel as if they owned the property and they are doing you a favor by allowing you to stay in their house. The folks here understand the concept of hospitality and act on it every time. Someone will acknowledge you the second you step through the main lobby door. Therese, Naomi, Stephanie, Tatiana, Tara, and my favorite Izaiah, to name a few. I also want to mention Freddie, and the club lounge hostess, they all know me as Mr. G now. 5 stars across the board. I got a room for a Sat night a few weeks back and the atmosphere was nice and quiet. It seemed like a slow weekend. The pool was AWESOME and heated. We swam in the evening and were the only ones. The website says the pool closes at 11pm. NOPE! They close the pool's outdoor portion at dusk (and indoor portion at 9pm I believe). They had our room on the 3rd floor and I asked if we can have a higher room and they put me on the 11th floor with a spectacular view of the Bay and airport area!! No added charge. Restaurant was great, good pizza and chicken caesar salad. I would 100% stay here again. Very lovely stay.

We were suppose to stay at the double tree around the corner but once we got into our room and saw the condition I called the Marriott and we checked right back out. Not only did they get us a room that was 1000% better, the front staff was so friendly and helpful, the pool is heated so my son was able to swim even in December. I can't thank them enough for saving the end of our vacation.

The point of reserving a room ahead of time is to ensure your room is ready for you the day you arrive. But that concept seems to be lost on this hotel. A room with a simple king or queen bed is all I ask but to my surprise, I've been relegated to a pull out bed in their supposed suite. Stating that they are "all booked". Unsure how that is my concern, considering the reservation was made days in advanced and has been paid. Now here I stand after hours of travel, wondering how much the bill for the chiropractor will be after the necessary treatment following this trip.

I loved this Marriott! The service was amazing! The rooms were spacious and if you do stay at this hotel make sure u check out their pool cuz it's pretty awesome.

Fantastic! Cannot begin to share what a terrific experience we had there! Staff extremely accommodating towards my group! Breakfast served hot and with plenty available. Rooms clean and up to date . Pool clean however they may want to update they're on site gym. Restaurant on site had reasonable prices with hearty portions served. Great location to all attractions including two malls within walking distance! Will definitely recommend and return to stay! Thank you to the wonderful staff!

This is an excellent hotel very near the airport. It is clean and comfortable in every respect. The indoor/outdoor pool is convenient and very large. The restaurant was surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant. The hotel staff members were very courteous and helpful, especially the shuttle driver who remembered our scheduled flight time without being asked to do so. We would definitely stay there again.
