🫤 I have several family members buried here but I'm quite disappointed in lack of upkeep. Maintenance is sadly lacking past few years. I have seen landscapers carelessly blowing flowers out of vases and the edging and weeding is haphazard. People often mention time, grounds, Alena, family, Glen, Haven, years, visit, cemetery, weeds,

Regretfully for me,I have been visiting Glen Haven for the last 19 years as both my grandparents rest here and I try to visit and honor them as frequently as I can. Due to unforeseen conditions I had not been able to visit this last year until today and the conditions that I’ve found the cemetery in general are short to say just deplorable. When I first drove in, the entrance caught my attention as it’s full of weeds, the fountain its off, some bricks has fallen off and it looks abandoned. As I made the way to where I was going it was just worst and worst there’s weeds growing through the walls, letters of plots just in the floor everywhere, mold/ mildew everywhere, several pot holes, even the trash containers have weeds growing through them! What’s happening? Why there’s no maintenance other than cutting the grass whatsoever? Where is all the money we’ve paid for used on? (sadly my mom and 3 siblings also have plots already purchased here for when their time comes) This is just sad and completely unacceptable, this not just occurred in couple of weeks or days.

My grandfather has been in the mausoleum for almost 2 years now. It took a year and 4 months to get the manager to start on his marker. We called and called and he always had an excuse for not doing it. When he started, the mausoleum was broken into and all the chairs were stolen and his marker was left on the table. The table was flipped and my grandfather's marker was broken. Instead of cleaning it, it was left outside and my grandmother found it and it broke her heart. I tried to hide the situation from her because she was diagnosed with broken heart syndrome and told him about the situation. He promised to clean it. He got the birthday wrong and my grandmother asked to correct it and though he says he is OCD about getting the markers perfect, he won't correct the unevenness the mistake caused. The marker is still not finished after all this time and he is not on premises to speak to or the office is closed. Unfortunately, we have to keep our loved one here otherwise we would not do business with this company at all.

My mother just recently passed and we had purchased a family cremation site in “Tranquil Oaks” back in 2015 which was beautiful then. I was horrified when we just returned to visit. The grounds are in horrible shape w/ debris and weeds everywhere. The once lovely green grass is now brown and dead. I’m told the irrigation system gas been broken for months w/no date given for repair. I am left feeling heartbroken and so ashamed for my family and for the other families whose loved ones are being so disrespected by you. We entrusted our loved ones to your care and you’ve betrayed all of us. A very sad time for our family has been made so much worse now.

Our family has owned burial sites since the mid 1950's at Glen Haven. My mother passed away in mid December 2021 and she had preplanned most of her arrangements. I met with Service Counselor Alena Benchova to complete the burial process. She was wonderful, very professional and sympathetic to our every need. I brought along a friend for help and support and he was treated by staff as a family member as well. Our arrangements were unusual due to many changes since the 50's, but Alena and staff were able to assist in resolving the dated issues. Alena also was very helpful in designing the headstone and I never felt rushed throughout the process. I greatly appreciate Alena's help from the very beginning to the actual graveside service which attended. The grounds staff were also very professional and respectful at the service. Lastly, compared to other cemeteries Glen Haven was by far the most kept cemetery. Thank you to everyone involved in the process!

( not sure where my first review went ) I recently went to Glen Haven looking to buy a plot for myself. Alena was incredible, thorough, and very knowledgeable. I got sense that she genuinely cares when talking to her families. She took me on a park tour and we explored all my options. As we drove through the cemetery I noticed all the grounds guys were working really hard, hats off to them, it must have felt like it was 100 degrees outside. Edwin, the Foreman, stopped to talk to Alena briefly and before we drove off he kindly offered us both cold waters. I can't imagine what it likes to work outside and taking care of such a beautiful cemetery. Alena walked me around their Tranquil Oaks area. I will admit at first I wasn't wild about the area. The grass definitely needs tending to but Alena explained the irrigation is being worked on and that it the grass will be back green and beautiful soon. I appreciated her explanation and the fact that they are actively working on resolving the issue. I ended going with a niche inside of the Tranquil Oaks building. I can't thank Alena, Edwin and everyone at Glen Haven for their incredible customer service. I know I will be well taken care of in the future. I will definitely be recommending this location to more people.

A couple of years ago I attended a funeral for a friend. The service was absolutely amazing. Everything was immaculate, and no detail was over looked. My friends husband told me I should talk to a counselor about getting my arrangements in order now as it would save money. When I initially went in I spoke to Jose. Within seconds of sitting down and speaking to him something didn't feel right. His vibe didn't feel right to me. I left after hearing what he had to say and didn't come back. Fast forward to the other day when I went back to visit my friend on the anniversary of their passing and decided to go in and speak to someone else. I sat down and spoke with Mara. Wow what a day and night difference. Mara was bubbly, kind, and respectful. I'm so glad I went in and got more information. Mara and I went on a park tour and by the end of our time I felt like Mara was part of family. Thank you Mara and everyone at Glen Haven.

My child passed on several years ago. I worked with Alex during the hardest time of mine and husband's life. Our baby is laid to rest in the Babyland section. Alex was extremely sympathetic and patient with both my husband and I throughout the entire process. My husband and I visit quiet frequently. The other day the grounds guys were nearby and they stopped their machines and asked if we would like for them to go somewhere else while we payed our respects. I was in awe, no one has ever asked or been so kind. We told them they could continue as they weren't close enough to bother us but we greatly appreciate them offering. The grounds team has always done an amazing done at taking care of the grounds. Babyland always looks well upkept. Right before we left we spoke to Jeremy the Superintendent to thank him and his team for all they do. Jeremy explained that the team works incredibly hard and that during the summer it is a never ending battle. You could tell he genuinely appreciated our feedback. To Jeremy and the rest of the grounds guys, thank you so much for taking care of our child’s space. We know he is well taken care of in your cemetery and we couldn't be more grateful for that.

My father and mother are buried here. We live out of town but we're here for an event and went to the cemetery. We couldn't believe the condition. Grass all dried up, weeds everywhere. Looks like they are not maintaining it at all. So disappointing!!

My grandparents and my in-laws are laid to rest here. The staff is always friendly and the grounds look great. Our most recent interaction was with an employee named Alex Coutras. He was kind, courteous and helped us navigate through everything with a true servants heart. It was such a tough time and he was so compassionate with every conversation.

I buried both my parents at this cemetary. Lately I have been very disappointed with the way they have neglected the grounds. There are so many cemetary plaques that are literally collapsing into the ground. I brought this to the attention of the office staff quite some time ago and they have done absolutely nothing to resolve it. How very disrespectful to those buried and their families. I’ll be damned if this will happen to my parents grave. My husband and I visit their grave every week to clean their plaques and pull any weeds out. We have even refinished their plaques. The staff have removed very small, flat items that you literally had to be standing directly over the gravesite to see yet the sites around are all collapsing. Makes zero sense.

During a very difficult time Glen Haven demonstrated extraordinary compassion and empathy. Their attention to detail was commendable. Their facilities are beautiful.

Purchased a cracked mausoleum 25 years ago. I no longer need it, at the time I did, I was single now I am remarried I no longer require it. I called them to ask for their help. They do not buy them back and they do not help you sell it. They will however, do the paperwork when you find a buyer but they will charge you $250 to do the paperwork I found that they were no help at all to me.
