Just left there because I was told that the doctor was running behind. I told them "as long as I was done by 3p because I need to pick up my kid in Tampa". An hour later and nothing. Walked out. :( She is a good doctor but there needs to be another at this location. EDIT: Showed up to my 10a appointment today, to be told that the doctor is not there on Tuesdays anymore!! No phone call, & no apologies. Appointment rescheduled, but next year NEW Doctor/facility. This has been the worse experience I've ever had at any clinic. Also, I didn't even know that the original doctor there was no longer with them. So there's that too.

I agree with others who have written about this office. The front office person is hard to understand. And will not stop and let you talk, always in a hurry! Very rude. Now I understand that Dr. Lafontant is no longer there. I for one will be looking for a new Dr. to see.

Been a patient for the past 4 years or so and on numerous occasions I have been given an appointment time they can't stick to. I have a life and can not afford to put my responsibilities aside because they can not seem to be organized enough to stick to the schedule they set themselves. The office staff shows no concern either. I make these appointments for a reason. I have a medical condition and with out my medications I can go into kidney failure. The doctors has to review my blood results to get my dosages correct. I have had to walk out on 3 appointments in the past year for this reason risking my own health ans they don't take it serious. I'm seriously contemplating contacting Medicare/medicaid for them to be audited I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue

This time I only had blood work done. The nurse that does it is the best. She's very sweet and never leaves a mark. She's the best!

Dr Gowgill is a very good doctor,she listens to what you have to say and very nice to be around. She's very professional at her job but she kinda layed back to where you feel comfortable around her. I recommend her to every one.

My BP was at stroke levels when I arrived to thier office yesterday & the Dr & nurse jumped into working on getting it down to a manageable rate. They had it under control within 30-45 minutes. I'm so glad to know my health is in such capable hands!! Thank you everyone!!

My mother just obtained Medicare and I chose this Dr that was nearest to her and I'm pleasantly surprised. Dr CowGill listened to everything that we had a concern regarding my mothers health. The Dr also went through every Rx and health history. We felt as if we had the Dr attention the entire time and that the Dr was sincerly concerned about my mother and her health. The staff has also been very supportive and helpful. Jennifer provided me with her phone number and welcomed my mother to the office. My mother was advised that they were there to really help her and it showed in all of their actions. I do not live in Florida and that was tough with her last Dr but not this one. I really feel as if my mother is in the best hands for her health care. My mother is actually looking forward to going back to see the Dr and the staff again. Thank you Palm Medical for treating my mother and everyone else the way they deserve to be treated with care and understanding.

I have always had an excellent experience at this Palm location. Dr Cowgill who took over Dr Lafontant is an excellent doctor and the staff is great to deal with. They return calls and are always attentive.

Love this facility, love the Doctor. Always go out of their way to help me. Appointments are easy to make. Follow up is fast.

They provided transportation to & from offices. Offices were neat,clean & bright. Wait was short. Staff was knowledgeable,helpful & polite. Dr. Cowgill was knowledgeable,patient,informative & took time to explain & answer any questions. In all- a Great Experience !

Today was my first appointment at Jay Care and I was welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. Dr. Lafontant and I hit it off right away...she was saying everything I was thinking. Hope I never have to say goodbye.

I'm sorry for the Doctors, because they will carry all the blame for the lack of administrative help offered . As human natures goes most people will remember the name of their doctor not the staff. I just changed PCP.

this place is ridiculous. i have tried to call for 2 days trying to get them to send an order form for some blood work for an upcoming appointment. of course nobody answers. now i get a call saying i need to reschedule my appointment because my blood work isnt done...this place has terrible administration and you are better off finding another doctors office.

I went to jaycare in Lakeland a few months back no complaints at all . But I went to the location that they have in plant city last Thursday a week from today . My apt was @3:00 pm me and my coworker friend got there maybe around 2:50pm and it was one patient there when we got there . The triage nurse was very rude , she barely exchanged any words or look at you . After triage I was left in the room for 45 minutes. I went to the desk and ask how long do they apt usually take and her response was you came early for your apt and that's not a valid excuse for me to be sitting in a room after 45 minutes waiting to be seen when it was one pt before me . When dr . Lafonte came she was not nice , I started telling her the complaints I have in reference to my visit her first thing to my stomach pains was if I was pregnant, then she told me she was only going to see me for one hung because the insurance will not cover the other complaints. Really ! Then when she saw my coworker she told her her symptoms was due to pregnancy and she was having dizziness, palpitations and did not order no kind of test or EKG . What kind of doctor does that ? Please find a better doctor because not even a fresh out of school MA will diagnose someone without any test . And she did even check you . Give your degree up ... will never go back , waist of time

I was so disappointed with Jay Care Medical Center doing my brother visit the doctor wanted him to get a pet-CT, CT and a biopsy of his right lung. The Insurance company approved it on May 23rd- July 21st in 3 days, but we can't get the referral faxed to the hospital in a timely manner by Jay Care medical center so my brother can get the test done by July 21st. They don't care about anyone health problems, where is the compassion. Shame on all of you and people need to sent letters to anyone who might be able to do something about this problem. I have been calling the Tampa and Lakeland office and hasn't gotten any help.

Administrative staff is courteous and attentive. Both Dr Cowgil and Dr. Cruz are very knowledgeable and care about what I have to say with regard to my treatment.

I've been with this doctor's office for a very long time I want to say since 2013. The last doctor was named Dr lafonte she was absolutely amazing the new doctor that's there now is awesome. The staff is like family I don't have to wait long. I'm happy with the doctor visits I get and with the results I receive I am glad that I am still with amazing group of women.

Love this doctor and the practice. They take such good care of my family. Quick to answer questions and help us. Appointments are fast. Staff is courteous and friendly.

My experience with Palm Medical and Tarra Love has been a great experience. I think that Miss Tarra Love goes out of her way for her patience and I think her because she’s doing a wonderful job helping people out.
